It is important to us that all our guests have a great experience. It is a shame that this was not possible on this occasion and is also sad that you could not adhere to polite respectful behaviour that is customary in Barbados & the complex. Our apartment is not a hotel but a self-catering privately owned unit in the Goldenview complex as are all the other units. The complex is extremely popular due its great location (5 minutes walk to the beach), huge swimming pool and competitively priced units for such a fantastic location. There is nothing misleading. The first 6 photos are of the apartment and the swimming pool on the apartment complex. The last 2 photos are of the beach club. The apartment is 5 minutes walk to the beach which is detailed in the listing. Our guests have membership to the Beach Club that is on the beach and was available to you during your stay. Unfortunately, we cannot be blamed if you forgot to use it. In our check in email, there is an attachment with a full information pack on the apartment & the surrounding area. It is obviously important that guests actually read it. Additionally, we gave you contact details of our representative, Cheryl who you can ask questions of as well. The beds are supplied by default with sheet (more are found in the wardrobe) s and not blankets or duvets. As Barbados is a tropical country with temperatures of 30C or more, we have never had previous guests request duvets or winter blankets. Our most common request is for ceiling fans or A/C which the apartment has. The apartment was professionally cleaned for your arrival. We have never had any complaints before but are sorry that it wasn’t to your satisfaction. It is a shame that you did not mention anything during your stay because we could have got the cleaner to resolve your issues of concern. However, It was also a little surprising that the apartment was left in such a mess after just 5 days of you staying with us.
