The Jade House features three floors, with 7 bedrooms in total.
The total capacity at the villa is 19 guests.
Caretakers who live onsite and do a light cleaning 6 days per week.
The property borders are covered with exterior surveillance cameras.
4x4 vehicles are required to reach the property, with gated parking for 6 cars.
There are 3 swimming pools (1 with a swim-up bar), as well as a pool for lounging in the water.
There is one pool that can be heated at 95 °F during your stay at an additional cost of USD 400.00 for stays up to 10 days. If this is required please ask before your booking confirmation.
Every bedroom has an air-conditioning unit.
Each bathroom features dual shower heads.
Located downstairs, the secret kids' room has 3 single bunk beds, twin mattresses (7 beds total) a television, and a full bathroom with a large shower.
There's also a big bedroom downstairs (Garden Suite) with a king bed, television, en-suite bathroom that looks at the rainforest, and a walk-in closet.
On the ground level, the primary bedroom (Harmony Room) features a king bed, en-suite bathroom, television, soaking tub, and direct access to the outdoor lounge pool.
There is a second bedroom on the ground level (Tropics room) with 2 single mattresses that can form a king bed. This bedroom also has access to its own bathroom and shower.
Moving to the top level of the villa, there are 3 more elegant bedrooms, all with king beds, en-suite bathrooms, and direct access to a gorgeous wrap-around deck with sensational views of the Pacific Ocean, Cano Island, and the famous Whale's Tail reef in Uvita.
A new workout gym has been added near the parking area.
Further amenities include indoor and outdoor dining spaces; a living room with multiple seating options and a flat-screen smart television with Netflix, Roku, etc accounts you can sign into; an outdoor bathroom and shower; a big ole' BBQ; an outdoor cooking wok; the aforementioned pool table; hammocks and lounge chairs; 1 huge ice machine; a dishwasher; as well as washer and dryer units for clients.

As mentioned, The Jade House is fully equipped to comfortably handle large groups of family and friends. The one thing it isn't, however, is a party palace. We ask all guests to abide by the rules of the property when visiting.

From the Juan Santamaria International Airport in San Jose (SJO) it takes approximately 3 ½ hours to drive to the villa. The majority of our clients rent 4x4 vehicles and head south from the airport, but shuttle options are available as well. If you do decide to utilize the shuttle service, please keep in mind that you'll need to switch to 4x4 rental cars or taxis before navigating the mountain road up to the property. A third option is to fly into San Jose and then take a 20-minute commuter flight into Quepos, which is a half-hour north of Dominical town.

Top outdoor activities in the vicinity include surfing, kayaking, hiking, zip-lining, parasailing, river rafting, snorkeling, horseback rides, and inshore and offshore fishing trips. Fly fishing tours are also becoming popular along the Savegre River.

And, of course, there is the area's diverse wildlife, which will completely blow your mind. It's common to spot white-faced and howler monkeys at the property. If you're lucky, you'll set your sights on a sloth, too. Scarlet macaws, toucans, and parrots regularly navigate the jungle canopy nearby, while blue morpho butterflies love to say hello during those morning cups of coffee taken on the balcony overlooking the sea.

There are also supermarkets, banks, and pharmacies within a 20-minute drive of The Jade House. For sports fans, it's a 5-minute walk to Jumanji - a great open-air restaurant/bar with great food and very nice atmosphere. For more upscale dining, try Resturante Scala, a wonderful establishment located a bit further down the mountain road.
