Paradise

It was an amazing place to stay with our large group. Toucans and geckos and wildlife abound with beautiful plants everywhere. Was like waking up to paradise every morning

Kari was an amazing partner to help plan a very special birthday. She helped us get flights, chefs and excursions all lined up. She was very responsive and went above and beyond.

Perfect

Our family of 17 stayed at Topanga for our parents 50th wedding anniversary and it was absolutely perfect. We loved the location up on the hill in the jungle and to overlook the ocean was stunning. Won't lie it is a bit of a steep climb to the villa but so worth it! We had all the amenities you could ask for and the villa offers more than enough room for all of us. The location was close to several magical beaches, restaurants, and grocery shopping. We were within an hours drive to any of our excursion and larger towns. Kari was more than helpful and checked in on us regulary to make sure we had everything we needed. She also helped secure excursions for us. The housekeepers stopped by everyday but you really wouldn't know they are there, they came, cleaned, and left. Super sweet ladies! I would have to say one of the best was waking up early in the morning with all the animals and being entertained by the monkey family in the tree behind the house! Thank you Kari and Chad for such an amazing trip!

AMAZING PROPERTY FOR FAMILY OF 10+

My husband and I enjoyed the holidays with our adult children and grandchildren here at Bella Rosa. We all traveled from various points and arrived at different dates but our reactions were all the same - utter amazement of the property, the views and appreciative of the fabulous accomdations! We were able to enjoy the comfort and privacy of our own space(s) and all come together for activities and meals. The kids and their spouses appreciated having their own bungalows and being able to do what they like in the after hours without disturbing the parents! Waking to the amazing birds singing, relaxing at the fabulous pool and covered patio, enjoying breathtaking mountain and rainforest views with beautiful clouds draping the mountain tops, breathtaking sunsets and enjoying the stars at night - such a beautiful paradise and magical vacation. Although its location is somewhat remote - we were able to rent their 4 wheeler and the kids rented one too - so we could all enjoy a few of the amazing activities together “down the mountain” such as rain forest and waterfall hike, visiting the whale tale beach, swimming, shopping the local craft markets, and the youngsters participated in other activities such as snorkeling, sky diving and zip lining! An amazing time together set at our own pace. Our hosts were very helpful in providing information for local shopping, restaurants and tourist info as well as being very accommodating to any hiccups we had especially in regards to transportation to and from the airport for our large group who all came and went at different times! The restaurants you recommended were all fabulous! Ranging from casual to elegant - we enjoyed the wide selection of local foods and favorites. Also having the gracious assistance of Eriselda cooking a few meals for us after a tiring day of FUN or a breakfast late in the morning, she was so patient with all. Thank you Debbie and Tom for sharing your beautiful property with our family and we wish you the best in the New year. We truly hope to return to Costa Rica and enjoy more time in paradise!

Husband’s 40th birthday

This has been my best experience with a vacation rental. Kari (the host) was there every step of the way from the beginning (before even booking) until the end. She is AMAZING!! Her property is AMAZING!!! The pictures do not give this property any justice. The home is BEAUTIFUL!!!! We were a group of 12. We used her chef, bartender, and drivers. Every single person was so kind and welcoming, She had her property manager decorate the home for us and it turned out great! Kari also set up our charter flights as well. Everything was so easy! I told her the things I wanted and she made them happen. As simple as that! The trip was amazing! The food the chef’s made was AMAZING! We decided to use them more than we anticipated because the food was so good. If you are thinking about booking, DO IT! You will have no regrets. She is a GREAT host and her team is GREAT!

Heaven On Earth!

This place is so wonderful! We had a family group of 17 with ages ranging from 7 months to 60 years old. Kari was extremely helpful in planning our trip and also during it when we had emergency shuttle needs. It felt like a long way from the airport but so worth it. It has stunning views! Beautiful rooms! Wonderful animal life to enjoy! No crowds at the beaches and other activities! We all had a great time at Playa Ventanas, surf lessons at Playa Colonia, hiking and swimming in the Nauyaca waterfall. A highlight for all was the Mangrove Boat tour out of Sierpe, we saw a lot of different kinds of animals and birds. One of my favorite parts was the Private Chefs! The food was amazing and they prepared enough for 2 meals. I had them prepare 6 meals throughout the week and it easily lasted for 12 meals. I actually got a vacation too, because of them! We all want to go back again.

What a view!

Great location, great large swimming pool...perfect for any size group. All I can recommend is more furniture in the main house. We loved our stay and will stay again
