Second Floor, outdoor kitchen large deck areas. Views from all living areas. It's a large studio, with a small sofa and an airbed if needed for one or two people.

Caretakers live on the property so it is very secure, and completely fenced. Secure off street parking.

Winter sports include Kiteboarding, stand-up paddle, fishing, hiking and there is an extensive system of mountain bike trails. There is a bike repair, sales and information store down the block.

Laundry service for sheets and towels at extra charge.
Summer sports are even better fishing, hiking, mountain biking stand-up paddle, kayaking, and doing nothing around the pool (not heated in winter).

Many restaurants and a few very good markets, and a fish market with the daily catch. Everything you need for your stay is within walking distance.

A king size bed, and if needed for two kids or other adult, there is an Aero bed that can be inside or outside on the covered patio.

Wonderful day at a gloriously beautiful property!

The beauty of the property and the location cannot be overstated. Incredibly calming decor. Well thought out with two sun protected decks and a tremendous view of the Sea of Cortez. Beautiful sun and moon rises. The local kite boarding beach is less than 10 minutes away by car. Numerous restaurants nearby. Various friendly dogs and cats here that will charm your heart. Hoping for this to be my snowbird destination for the next remainder of my life!

Fantastic View and Amenities`

We stayed here for about a month and it was fantastic. The ocean sunrise from the second floor was amazing. Comfortable king-sized bed, hot shower with great pressure. We had our own private parking entrance with an automatic gate. Very safe and secure . We went fishing ($300) and caught grouper, snapper, yellowtail and bonita. Rather than cook, we would take it to the taco stand across the street and they would cook us dinner with the fixings for just $5. The owner (Barbara) was always very responsive, friendly and a wealth of knowledge.

Unforgettable views and with an almost empty beach

This is a studio apartment that sits atop the main residence of the owner. The views are absolutely incredible, especially the sunrises. The location is central, and is above one of the less frequented beaches, so you can relax without the crowds. It is also a very good access point for all the windsports, paddling and snorkeling. We were extremely pleased!

Eye in the Sky

This was our fourth stay in LV/ES and our first time being clifftop. Wow...what a view. Two decks, one being enormous gave us an amazing vantage point on the sea, the beach activity to the north and the kiting scene over a 10 km north to south spread. The comfortable top floor suite is a blend of modern and traditional styles. A 16 foot wide wall of windows filled with the scene of the turquoise sea made it hard to leave the very comfortable bed with its top notch linens. No need to go anywhere to observe the breathtaking sunrises...just open your eyes! The shower is large and modern. The kitchen is outfiitted with everything you could ever need..even an Instant Pot! Three of the best known restaurants are within a 5 to 15 minute walk and we also enjoyed lunches from the three stalls which are immediately beside and across from Barbara's property. Two groceries stores and a big new produce shop are all within walking distance. Inside and outside the decorative touches enhanced our holiday. The weather was not really hot during our month there but the few warmer days had us enjoying the pool which is a marvel in design and artistry, as are the stunning gardens throughout the gated property. We were there to kite and the short walk down the neighbouring arroyo was easy to navigate, even for my husband who was on crutches for the first two weeks of our stay. The length of the arroyo is the front to back distance of Barbara's property...not a long walk at all! The launch is on a beautiful sandy bay that at times felt like our own private beach. It was great being able to rinse off our equipment with the outdoor hose after a session on the water. We had a nephew stay with us for a week and he was very comfortable on the queen size inflatable bed that we set up in the private, sheltered back corner of the larger patio. Barbara was a perfect host along with the on-site caretaker. When its time for our fifth visit to the area, Barbara's will be our first choice.

Great views living on the SEA

Overall, this is a really nice place (we stayed one month): it is the upstairs of a two story house and basically, two large terraces with a large bed room in between. The kitchen and dining area are on one terrace and open. So, you gotta like being exposed. It is amazing to wake up every morning with a view of the sea of Cortez and all that is happening. The overall location is great being central in the strip that is El Sargento. Comments are that it is advertised as sleeping 4, but there is only one real bed and one bed room (guests use an inflatable bed) so that the place really is best for one couple. Also, if you don't have waves and associated sounds, it can be pretty noisy at night with barking dogs and local parties. But, hey, it is Mexico at its best!

Absolutely lovely!!

Stunning cliffside ocean views, spacious suite with all the basic amenities. Amazing rooftop patio, great shared pool, 5 min walk down to a very quiet section of the beach. Activities nearby include Kiteboarding, stand up paddling and snorkeling and yoga. Highly recommend !

Beautiful Property

We loved renting this property, it was clean and beautifully appointed just like the pictures show in the listing. Everything was there for my husband and I to enjoy during our stay in La Ventana - beach towels, cooler, beach umbrella, and beach bag! Our host was extremely accommodating and met us outside to let us in even when we were delayed in our arrival by several hours. We can't wait to come back again!
