“Cortez” 🏝🏝
Located on the best North Beach in town (Between Rasta beach and Big arroyo). Being on a slight cove of the shoreline our beach has a sandy entry for all water sports (Kiting, Foiling, Winging, Windsurfing, Snorkeling, Fishing). You literally roll out of bed and onto the sand. The only thing in your view is the water and Cerralvo island. Breathtaking. This is an architecturally pleasing gated property that is “50 steps” away from the water. Paddle boards and kayaks are ready for use. There is an outdoor bathroom adjacent to the outdoor shower to rinse off after coming in from a day on the beach. The property is gated and private and you basically have your own beach right out front to lay lines out and launch or get picked up by Panga captains for a day of fishing.
Here’s the run down:
The “Cortez” is situated beach-side, right on the sand and in front of all the action with unforgettable views of the water and Ceralvo island. Enter the gated/paved courtyard which has outdoor “Monterey” style furnishing, catch up on some reading underneath a shady Palo-de-Arco covered area that includes a bbq and foot bath/rinse area or ponder what your next adventure will be. The “Cortez” comes with a super comfy king size bed. It has a full size chef’s kitchen including peninsula seating area for dine-in nights. The private bathroom is roomy and pleasing boasting a unique round turret shower.
Equipped with a flat screen TV and WiFi to keep you entertained.

Kite Surfing Paradise

There is simply no better location if you want to be on the beach. This is a beautiful property with awesome sunrises and beach walks. The unit itself is quiet at night and everything works correctly. Good internet and TV if that's your thing. If your a wing or kite surfer there is no better location. Property has a remote control gate for security. The owner is very polite and responsive. I highly recommend this Vrbo.

Amazing spot

The stay was incredible. They have thought of everything from having plenty of places to hang towels to providing paddle boards, kayaks and snorkel gear. All the big and the small things were just as they should be and more!

We highly recommend this property and location! It’s absolutely beautiful and truly a home away from home! The place is well appointed and they’ve thought of everything you’ll need to make your stay perfect. Host was very thoughtful and made check-in very easy. Thank you for an amazing stay! We loved it!

Wonderful time in El Sargento!!

The place was great - comfortable and well-appointed, and RIGHT on the beach! The place had everything we needed to cook, make cocktails, whatever. Including a Bluetooth speaker, Netflix, and a cooler we used quite a bit. We also used the provided snorkel gear - we didn't get a chance to use the SUPs, but they looked great, and easy to grab and hit the water. We were in town for a music festival down the beach at La Tuna, and this was a great home base. I will say that we ended up driving to and from 'town', as the short 1-2 mile walk on the beach was more difficult than anticipated, due to the soft sand. No biggie, but just something to keep in mind if you are planning on walking a lot from here. The small restaurant just a few steps away was fantastic as well, and the thermal hot pools on the beach were very close by as well. All in all, a perfect rental for our trip to the amazing area that we hope to return to!!

A wonderfully equipped bungalow for the folks that want to get away. We had the beach all to ourselves. Terri is a wonderful and thoughtful host who checked on us often and made sure are every need was met. I would highly recommend Casa Corazon for anybody who wants to check out and enjoy the views.

Beautiful views, steps away from the beach!

Beautiful, clean, fully-equipped casita, literally steps away from the beach and the Sea of Cortez. Super comfy bed and awesome shower. The Cortez casita has amazing views and sounds of the waves. Terri is an amazing host, providing answers to questions promptly and texting and checking in on us as "newbies" was a comfort. We arrived in the dark and she took the extra steps to make sure there were some lights on and the door was open so we knew we were in the right place! If we return to this area, we will be checking availability for Casa Corazon!

Wonderful Location, Nice People, Great Time

You couldn't be closer to the beach in this well thought out and beautiful property. Every morning we took their quality Stand Up Paddle Boards out and had an amazing time with the wildlife and beauty that surrounds this place. Really lovely place and will absolutely return in the future.

Surpassed expectations!

Casa Corazon is a real treat. Terri was an extremely welcoming host and answered any questions we had immediately. The casita was sweet, well appointed and very comfortable. We felt right at home from the beginning. The water toys and beach paraphernalia gave us lots to do and we really didn’t want to go anywhere else. I can’t really say enough - it was perfect!

A Truly Perfect Experience

Terri and George left absolutely nothing out when they built this amazing property. Every detail of the design is intended to create the sense that you are staying at an all-inclusive paradise resort. I have never stayed somewhere better outfitted for every want: from a kitchen stocked with anything you could ever desire to create your home cooked meals, to the fantastic bathroom with it's domed ceiling and embroidered towels, to the stand up paddleboard selection and beach/snorkeling equipment .... they truly thought of everything. They were on the property staying in an adjoining unit while we were there and were lovely to speak with and happily provided us guidance on places to eat and what to do. I can honestly say this was the kind of rental all others will be compared against moving forward. Thank you for the exceptional hospitality!

A Slice of Heaven

Spent an amazing birthday weekend at Casa Corazon! Parked the car and never left the beach the whole time! Quiet, relaxing, and a kite sailers show every day! The studio apartment has a full gourmet kitchen with a gorgeous countertops and ceiling, beautiful tower bathroom and a water view from the bedroom with a private patio. The sun and full moon rises made for perfect photos! I highly recommend and will definitely be back many times!!!!

Paradise

This was one of the best places we’ve stayed! Communication and check-in was perfect. The amazing sunrises, the gorgeous beach, and crystal clear water are phenomenal. We stayed in El Cortez casita and it was perfect for a couple. It is well stocked with everything you need. We used the beach chairs, umbrella, and noodle floats. We really enjoyed the kayaks. The patio area with outdoor shower is awesome. We had a fishing guide pick us up right on the beach in front of Casa Corazon. We hope to visit again!

Amazing place!

We had a blast! My fiancé and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The casita was comfortable and well furnished, comfy beds, immaculate views and just all around perfect. Right on the beach. Not only was the place awesome, but the host went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and taken care of. Terri was extremely helpful and communicative for the duration of our stay. She even lined up the groundskeeper to help us get our rental Bronco unstuck from the beach Lol! Can’t recommend Casa Corazon enough! We will be back.

Pure paradise!

Wish we were able to stay longer. The place is very well designed with attention to details and very equipped. The beachfront access is magical for a quick dip, a stroll and pure relaxation. Terri is a super host, very attentive and available. The beach with very gentle waves... in the morning it's like glass! A perfect place to unwind. We hope to come back!

A little slice of paradise!

Loved my stay at Casa Corazon! Quiet, clean, safe, and in a stunningly beautiful setting 🤩 Terri and George were perfect hosts and the casita was well equipped with a full kitchen. This was especially nice because there aren't very many restaurants nearby.

Better than heaven!

This is by far the best rental we have experienced. Our only problem was that we only stayed 2 nights and should have stayed 2 months! Everything you will need or want is provided and the bed is more comfortable than our own. We will return soon!

We loved our stay here! The casita is set up with everything you need to enjoy your stay. Very comfortable king bed, patio, beach toys and we enjoyed the juicer with local fresh fruit. It is very private, and our favorite beach bar and restaurant was just a 30min walk down the beach. (La Tuna) Terri was amazing! Always available to help with our needs- thank you!

Clean & Very Welcoming

We loved how peaceful our Casa Corazon stay was. This is a perfect vacation spot for those who want to relax and get to know the locals. Terri was wonderfully welcoming and very communicative. She provides access to paddle boards and kayaks which we really enjoyed taking on the water every morning. A plus about the location is your necessities are close and the food is muy delicioso. Some of our local favorites are: Best fresh tortillas: La Tortilleria. Best fish tacos: Rosy Tacos De Pescado Y Cameron. Best dining experience & cuisine: La Tuna - Only a 30 minute walk on the beach from the Casanita! We loved that we could walk on the beach without it being overcrowded so we had our privacy. And I can't say enough about Terri and George's hospitality. It was a lovely experience.

Spectacular!

We want to thank Terri and George for allowing us to stay at their beautiful casita. Can’t beat the location! A bit of a slow drive on a dirt road, and if you have a low car (like our rental was) you just have to go slow. Directions provided were great. We cannot say enough about how nice this casita really is, the pictures are great but they don’t do it justice. It has everything you need for a comfortable stay, kitchen is extremely well equipped, the bed is super comfortable, the shower is fabulous! You can really see that a lot of thought went into every detail! The sunrise is breathtaking! We caught a big fish and lost and even bigger one right from shore. We wish we had more time to spend here, did not want to leave! Thank you!!

A great overall experience for us of Baja

This worked out very well for us. The casita was equipped and Terri has thought everything, right down to the spices in the rack for cooking to tools to make it happen. We enjoyed the proximity to the beach and getting to know our neighbors. Stunning sunrises in the morning through the bedroom windows and patio was amazing. Not being kiters, we can appreciate better what the sport is, but it was a great deal of wind during our stay. Regardless, would recommend to almost anyone that appreciates something a little different than a traditional resort stay.
