Chimney Top Cottage is a luxury 3-bedroom 3-and-a-half bathroom home at 3500 feet of elevation in the Preserve at Rock Creek. The Preserve at Rock Creek is a 410 acre, upscale, gated mountain community with beautiful views, waterfalls and hiking trails. With only 15 homes in the entire preserve, you are assured of the ultimate in privacy. Unparalleled views of Whiteside Mountain and Chimney Top from the spacious back porch and exquisite custom details inside make this an exceptional mountain property.

Chimney Top Cottage is perfect for a couples getaway or for a family. One couple can easily use the master suite and with two couples each has a king sized bed. This home sleeps up to 8 people and features one-level living with beautiful wood floors throughout, spacious covered deck, screened-in porch, wood-burning fireplace, 4 HD TVs (with Directv, Netflix and the NFL package), wireless high speed internet, washer/dryer, gas grill, outdoor fire pit, and much more. The living room has a custom stone fireplace (firewood provided), vaulted ceilings, large Italian chandelier, and three sets of French doors opening to the spacious covered deck with incredible views. A dining area with a large dining room table with seating for 8 adjoins the living room. The master bedroom is on one side of the living room and has a king sized bed and a beautiful bathroom featuring white marble surfaces, double vanity, walk-in shower, soaking tub and private water closet. The second bedroom, which is on the other side of the living room, also has a king sized bed, private bathroom and access to the screened in porch for enjoying morning coffee. The third bedroom is adjacent to the second bedroom and has two twin bunk beds and a private bathroom. A half bathroom is conveniently located off of the living room. The fully equipped kitchen boasts white marble countertops, a center island, and stainless steel appliances, including a gas range for all of your cooking needs. Below the deck is a wonderful flat lawn providing a great place for the children to play and a fire pit for enjoying an outdoor fire on chilly nights.

Christmas in the Mountains

The property was very easy to get to, nice paved roads and easy entry into the Preserve. The home was beautiful with huge, spacious bedrooms with darkening shades and confy sheets and mattress. It was very clean and the kitchen had everything you need. The view of the mountains was beautiful every day. The property manager was so kind as to extend our vacation another day, no problem!!!! Also, home is close to many waterfalls, fly fishing and even a casino!! This place rates a 10!!!!!!

Peaceful & secluded house in the gated Preserve at Rock Creek development for two couples looking to get away to the Cashiers/Highlands area. Relax on the back porch and living room with great western views. Fully equipped kitchen if you decide to enjoy some meals at the house. The master bedroom was spacious with a large en suite bathroom. The second bedroom & bunk room wing with private screen porch and two baths was treated as a suite for the second couple. Short drives to Cashiers, Highlands & Brevard for shopping & dining. Lots of trails nearby for hiking and waterfall views. Try the Greystone Inn for outdoors breakfast dining overlooking Lake Toxaway. Also enjoy a frozen custard treat at the Crossroads Custard in Cashiers.

We had a great time in this cabin. The views were amazing and the cabin is in a great location for hiking and also easy drive to cashiers for dinning and fun. We would come back to this cabin on our next trip to this area.

Great mountain getaway!

We were a family of 5 + one pup, and we enjoyed this home very much! Susan was great with communicating, check in process was smooth, and the home was well-stocked for our stay. The view from the back porch was beautiful and we enjoyed watching the sunset every evening. Our first day there we saw a black bear and one deer, so our kids were excited about the wildlife sightings! This home is well located in a quiet, gated neighborhood. It was about 15minutes to Cashiers, 30-35min to Highlands. We would recommend this home!

Home with an amazing view

This was our 2nd visit to this wonderful property. Our family spent a week in this beautiful home. We gathered from several states and relaxed in the lovely mountain home retreat. We hiked, golfed, played pickleball, boated and enjoyed the nearby towns. But our favorite memories will be all the conversations on the deck enjoying the tremendous view! Peaceful and spacious

The accommodations fit our family perfectly. There are two king rooms and a bunk room with 3.5 bathrooms. We had two couples. The kitchen was well equipped. The decks were lovely and the all-on-one floor plan was great for my knee replacement! the living room furniture is comfortable and well kept. The neighborhood is sparsely populated so it is very quiet. The address is Sapphire but it is only a mile or so from Toxaway. The drive to Highlands was 45 minutes +.

Luxury Home w/ Magical Views and Waterfalls

Our family of five loved the house, the views, and the neighborhood. The home has high end finishes and furnishings, a great layout on all one level, was spotless and the views were amazing. The backyard firepit and wood burning fireplace were great for cool evenings. We hiked the neighborhood everyday and it has too many waterfalls to count! All of these fantastic features and the property is still close to the restaurants/grocery in Sapphire and Cashiers. My wife loved it so much she asked me to try buying it from the current owner : ) No luck -haha. We're really looking forward to our next visit.

We loved this property! Upscale yet casual, well appointed and comfortable. Beautiful sunset views from back porch / backyard fire pit. Convenient to Cashiers, waterfalls, restaurants, and shopping, yet quiet, serene and nestled in nature. Highlight was roasting marshmallows at the neighborhood waterfall. Exactly as advertised - already looking forward to coming back!
