Community pavilion for weddings and family gatherings. The pavilion is outdoor, covered, room for 120. Full kitchen, grill, tables & chairs, 2 large fireplaces. (must reserve AVAILABLE DATE in advance of booking on Vrbo). $500 fee added to booking to use this venue.

Pets allowed with prior approval. Prior approval required for longer than 3 weeks stay. Please message on Vrbo for approval.

This large, open floor plan cabin is perfect for family gatherings but is also great for a romantic get-away for two. The cabin sleeps 8 adults very comfortably. Maximum occupancy (total number of persons staying in or using the premises at any time) of 8 persons, any combination of adults and children. There is plenty of room to set up our full-size commercial crib and/or any portable sleepers you bring.

The master bedroom upstairs has a KING size bed & GAS FIREPLACE. The two guest bedrooms upstairs each have a queen size bed. There is a private sleep area downstairs with a queen size bed. Four beds total, one king and three queen size. If additional sleeping space is needed, there is a queen size leather fold out sofa downstairs (making 5 beds total) and a commercial size wooden crib for a baby (mattress, protector and sheets provided). There is plenty of room in any of the three bedrooms upstairs or in the downstairs area to set up the commercial size crib we provide or to set up your own child sleep area.

Guests frequently comment on the surprise they get when they first arrive at the cabin and encounter the spectacular views. There is always something new and different to see as the days pass and the weather changes. No need to take a long, difficult uphill hike to get a fantastic view -- just sit on the back decks. The lights across the valley at night are magical. There is a waterfall view and long-range view across the Divide Valley into South Carolina from the back decks. The cabin is on 4.2 acres and there are only 4 residences on our street with huge lots for privacy. There is no traffic except for our neighbors and occasional maintenance and public safety routine checks. The cabin is close to numerous restaurants, the Sapphire Valley Resort, and numerous outdoor activities.

The upstairs is the main living/sleeping area with 3 bedrooms and two full baths. The downstairs is a spacious recreation area with home theater, card table, large wet bar, full size refrigerator, and lots of open space for children. The downstairs also has an additional private sleep area with a queen size bed. There is a full bath downstairs. The leather sofa downstairs folds out to a queen size bed, making 5 beds total if needed.

The kitchen has everything you need if you want to cook in and enjoy family.

Escape to an amazing area of the country. Take in so many adventures and excursions in the "Land of Waterfalls", but only if you wish. You can also stay close to the cabin and enjoy the 4.2 acres of privacy, enjoy the waterfall from the back decks, wonder at the fantastic long-range views, or walk through the wonderfully developed equestrian community, The Divide at Bald Rock. Our subdivision has its own access to the Panthertown National Forest.

VENUE. We will reserve the large pavilion within The Divide for our guest's special occasion for a $500 fee. See photos. The pavilion should be reserved BEFORE booking on Vrbo to ensure availability.

We allow pets with ADVANCE APPROVAL BEFORE PAYING AND BOOKING. Please send an inquiry on VRBO or call before booking for pet approval. Please read the booking notes below for pet restrictions. The pet fee is $150 for the entire rental period.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF OUR CABIN AND AMENITIES OFFERED:

Nestled in the gated community of The Divide at Bald Rock and includes access to all amenities of the Sapphire Valley Master Association (a nominal fee of $5 per person per day or $25 per person per week for access to all amenities) restricted to pass holders only. The property is private and secluded. Sitting at 3850 feet above sea level on 4.2 acres. The cabin was custom built.

WORK REMOTELY. Free Wi-Fi is included on AN ULTRA HIGH SPEED BROADBAND along with office set up: desk, computer, monitor, printer, copier, scanner. Use the PC for team meetings. Wi-Fi calling on your cell phone works great!

The cabin sleeps 8 adults comfortably in one KING size and three queen size beds (each with privacy). In addition to the FOUR BEDS, there is a queen size sleeper sofa on the lower level (to make 5 beds total). A full-size folding crib (not a portable crib or play pen) is provided for set up in any of the bedrooms or downstairs sleep area. A 5" thick safety crib mattress, mattress protector, and crib sheets are provided. There is plenty of room to set up your own portable sleepers.

5 televisions, SONY 4K ULTRA HIGH DEFINITION SMART TV's !! One in each bedroom, 55 inch in the great room upstairs, and 75 INCH in the entertainment room downstairs. SONY Surround sound stereo, PLAYSTATION IV AND XBOX 1 WITH GAMES !! BROADBAND internet access. YouTube-TV package with premium channels and NFL Sunday Ticket during season.

MAIN LEVEL:

The upper level of the cabin has 3 bedrooms and 2 full baths. The cabin has wood flooring throughout with the exception of the tile bathrooms.

The master bedroom has a stone gas FIREPLACE, walk in tile shower, walk in closet, and private door to the large wrap around deck. The KING size bed has a top-rated Nectar Premier Copper Gel Memory Foam mattress with heat-conducting cooling fibers.

The great room has cathedral ceilings, large windows for the amazing views, an oversized stone WOOD BURNING FIREPLACE. Wood is provided under the front porch. YOU MUST PURCHASE KINDLING TO START THE FIRE.

The kitchen has granite countertops and stainless appliances and is fully stocked. Gas cook stove, convection toaster oven with 6 slice capacity, dishwasher, microwave, and all necessary small kitchen appliances are available (all the expected cooking appliances plus a full-size Kitchen Aide mixer, waffle maker, griddle and large roasting pan). Coffee Station with full pot and Keurig brew options is provided. A bean grinder is provided. Stocked with 12 place settings and extra silverware and all the cookware / bakeware you might need for your family and friends' feasts.

An oversized Maytag washer and dryer are available in a separate laundry room closed off from the rest of the cabin for quietness.

The two guest bedrooms are on the upper level and share a full bath. Each guest bedroom has a queen size bed with memory foam mattress.

All linens are provided.

DOWNSTAIRS:

The lower level has a SONY 75" theater room, surround sound stereo system, cedar bar fully stocked with glassware, bar sink, card table and chairs, full bath/shower/sink and full-size refrigerator.

The theater room has a leather wrap around sofa with three recliners built in that seats six comfortably. An additional leather recliner and an additional three-seat leather sofa is also provided. You can gather the entire family in this area! The three-seat leather sofa folds out to a queen size sleeper. Linens for the fold out are provided.

WORK REMOTELY. 3 desks, free Wi-Fi on BROADBAND NETWORK, PC, monitor, printer, copier, scanner downstairs. Use the PC for team meetings. Turn your cell phone to Wi-Fi calling for best reception.

A sleeping area is provided downstairs with a queen size bed and partition for privacy. There is a full-size bath downstairs.

A cedar top card table will accommodate 4 - 6 players. A full set of golf clubs is provided as a courtesy. Please replace lost balls in the bag.

The pools, hot tubs, saunas, game room, mini golf, skiing, and many other activities are located at the Sapphire Valley Resort just a 10-minute drive from the cabin. There is not a fire pit on the property because it is adjacent to a 6,000-acre national forest and the property is heavily wooded.

NOTE: Sapphire National Golf Club is temporarily closed. Red Bird 9-hole is open. Public courses nearby.

IMPORTANT BOOKING NOTES:

Consider travel insurance to cover personal losses during the 14-day cancellation period. I do not waive the cancellation policy.

A damage deposit is NOT COLLECTED. My guests have always treated the cabin as though it were their own home while staying.

PETS: MUST REQUEST PERMISSION IN ADVANCE OF PAYING. THE FOLLOWING BREEDS ARE NOT ALLOWED: Akita, American Staffordshire Terrier (Pit Bull), Chow, Presa Canario, Rottweiler, Shar-pei, or Wolf Hybrid. Mixed predominately with any of the above breed are also not allowed. Maximum two pets owned by the same person/family. $150 is automatically added by VRBO if you indicate you are bringing a pet. Pets must be constantly monitored, walked frequently, and never left alone in the cabin unless crated or in the closed HVAC room (climate controlled). Pets are not allowed on any bed at any time, so please plan to bring a bed for them.

DOOR LOCK CODES AND GATE ENTRY ARE NOT PROVIDED UNTIL THE VACATION RENTAL AGREEMENT SENT BY EMAIL IS SIGNED AND RETURNED TO ME. GUEST MUST CANCEL THE RESERVATION IN VRBO IF THE RENTAL AGREEMENT IS NOT SIGNED, PETS WERE NOT APPROVED, OR LONG-TERM STAY WAS NOT APPROVED.
