Taylor Canyon Home with Mountain Views and Private Fishing

Three Rivers Resort is ideally situated in the heart of Almont, CO, just 20 minutes south of Crested Butte and 10 minutes north of Gunnison.
Named the “George Bailey” home after the lead character in “It’s a Wonderful Life,” this home is popular with large families, multi-families and groups. The home has beds for 8 people but could sleep up to 10 utilizing couches. An attached two bedroom apartment with its own entrance may also be rented as a separate unit or together with the home. We call it the George Bailey Loft. View the Crested Butte mountains from the private hot tub or front porch. There is ample parking available for vehicles and & “toys,” shared with guests staying in the loft. Guests in the George Bailey Home do have access to the garage, which is accessed through the home. **The George Bailey Home and Loft are located up the hill from the main part of the resort, adjacent to our manufactured home park. It is easy walking distance to the main part of the resort but guests may choose to drive. Note that separate parties may be staying in the House and Loft units simultaneously but they have separate entrances and the Loft is located above the garage.**

• Also on the first floor is a bedroom with 2 twin beds and a separate bathroom with tub/shower.
• Upstairs is a bedroom with a queen bed and a bedroom with 2 twin beds plus a separate bathroom with tub/shower.
• Supplies included: paper towels, toilet paper, facial tissues, trash bags, dish soap, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, hairdryer
• Not included: Anything edible (including coffee, condiments, spices), laundry detergent
• Plenty of parking here for 2+ vehicles and toy trailers. Garage access available through the main home entrance, no garage door openers provided.
• All Three Rivers Resort guests have access to private fishing on the Taylor River bordering the resort property.

All units are designated as non-smoking (including marijuana). Dogs allowed for an additional $20/night/dog, maximum of 2 dogs. No cats or other animals. Dogs may not be left alone in cabins at any time. Nightly rate is based on 8 people. There is an additional fee of $10/person/night for extra persons (ages 7 and over). Maximum occupancy is 10. Rates are typically higher during the peak season from May – September/early October and during holiday periods. Rates are adjusted based on occupancy and can change at any time.
