Roomy Taylor Canyon Cabin With Private Fishing Access

Three Rivers Resort is ideally situated in the heart of Almont, CO, just 20 minutes south of Crested Butte and 10 minutes north of Gunnison.
ā€œPink Cahillā€ (Every cabin is named after a fly pattern.)
**We regret to inform you that shared hot tubs will be closed down permanently. Private hot tubs remain open.**
Cabins 27, 28 and 29 are the same type of cabin. Considered ā€œpremiumā€ lodging, they are some of our most popular cabins for larger families or groups. These cabins feel more like a home than a mountain cabin. There are two private bedrooms downstairs and upstairs is an open, full size loft (an adult can stand fully) with additional beds and space for belongings. If you like a cabin to feel more like home than camp, this cabin is for you.
ā€¢ Approximately 1152 square feet
ā€¢ Queen size bed in each bedroom and 2 additional queen size beds in the loft
ā€¢ Sink/Vanity in each bedroom
ā€¢ Supplies included: paper towels, toilet paper, facial tissues, trash bags, dish soap, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, hairdryer
ā€¢ Not included: Anything edible (including coffee, condiments, spices), laundry detergent
ā€¢ Plenty of parking here for 2 vehicles and toy trailers
ā€¢ All Three Rivers Resort guests have access to private fishing on the Taylor River bordering the resort property.
**For VRBO guests, please refer to your reservation confirmation sent to your email after booking for check-in and unit details. We operate like a hotel with a front desk.**
All units are designated as non-smoking (including marijuana). Dogs allowed for an additional $20/night/dog, maximum of 2 dogs. No cats or other animals. Dogs may not be left alone in cabins at any time. Nightly rate is based on 8 people. Maximum occupancy is 8. Rates are typically higher during the peak season from May ā€“ September/early October and during holiday periods. Rates are adjusted based on occupancy and can change at any time. For exact rates, enter your trip dates in the availability search.

We usually stay in Crested butte when we ski, but late booking this year steered us to look outside of town. We booked the cabin at Three Rivers not knowing what to expect. The property was great, clean, and ended up being exactly what we needed. Friendly staff as well made our trip and stay even better. Definitely recommend in case you donā€™t mind staying 25-30 from the mountain.

Fishng adventure

This rental exceeded my expectations. We came to CO as a graduation gift to my son. We had myself, spouse, 2 young adult children and another couple. The cabin is centrally located to so many wonderful destinations. Gorgeous views and a fisherman's dream. The service the resort provided was top notch. We would definitely recommend and plan on returning.

Lovely cabin in a picturesque setting

We enjoyed our stay in the quaint cabin that fit our family of 6. The loft is spacious and the only bathroom is roomy. The location was great for our day trips to ski at Crested Butte. I will warn however, if you need internet for work or even to just check email, do not stay here. Although the internet signal is strong, it cannot load anything. So my evenings of catching up on work were impossible. Thereā€™s no cell phone signal either. Otherwise, a lovely place to stay.

The cabin was very clean and spacious. The location is great -- it's between a mountain a beautiful river. There is a free bus runs between Gunnison and Crested Butte Mountain Ski Resort and it runs every 15 minutes or so in the morning. The bus stop is only a few minutes of walk from the cabin. The only thing is the WIFI signal has been weak in the cabin. The signal is good near the office so sometimes I walked over there to get on internet.
