As with all our guests these folks were fantastic! And I actually got to meet them because I was still there doing a refresh on the outdoor stuff and they were early! It all worked out and was a pleasant surprise, because since Covid, I’ve had very few chances to meet our visitors. We’re glad they had a great time visiting and look forward to an opportunity to host them again in the future!

These guests were wonderful! Not only did they leave the home in excellent condition but a thunderstorm during their stay, caused the power to blink and tripped the breaker. They were able to reset it saving me an after hours service call AND it got the AC working for them to enjoy the evening! They were the nicest people and I hope they do come to see us again!

The property was perfect for our girls weekend trip. The house was clean and stocked with everything we needed when we arrived. The communication from Kelly was great - from all the info we needed to check in to recommendations on the things we were looking to do in the area. The house and the surrounding property was lovely and just what we needed for a relaxing weekend!

We always love the positive feedback from our guests! We know it is so much MORE than what we can say about this gorgeous property. The pictures don't do it justice and the seasonal changes, especially spring and fall are stunning! We would love to host this wonderful group again or anyone else who wants something "close to about everything", but off the beaten path!

Very nice and would stay there again. One suggestion would be to provide some extra blankets for relaxing on the couch and maybe a hot tub for cooler months.

These guests were great communicators and they left the place in wonderful condition. We would welcome them back anytime! We did the throw pillows and blankets pre-covid but providing these extra special amenities requires a bit more cleaning on top of the 12-15 load of laundry a regular full house stay generates. I would suggest if you have a favorite snuggle blanket to watch tv or take a nap, bring that along next time! The hot tub has been discussed many times and with the wild life (now including black bears) it probably isn't something we can safely do for our guests or the animals at this time.

Weekend getaway

The house is beautiful, and we had more than enough room for the 5 of us. It was a beautiful setting and we enjoyed the large yard and outdoor pavilion. Not too far from Loudonville and good restaurant options. Black Fork Bistro was recommended by the owner, and it did not disappoint. Would love to come back sometime.
