The charming cottage which is located in a small country village, surrounded by an orchard and a vineyard, has recently been finely restored. The small village also includes other apartments in the typical style of the Abruzzo rural landscape that can be rented as well.
The main villa consists of 3 bedrooms, a kitchen, a dining room and two bathrooms.
There is a courtyard where you can dine outdoors. It is an ideal place for children. In front of the housing complex there is a farm that produces cheeses and fresh milk. It is a perfect place for those seeking calm and tranquility, yet still close to various tourist attractions: sea and mountains.
Also ideal for cyclists.
Cugnoli is a village on the outskirts of the Abruzzo National Park, near Caramanico Terme (35 minutes) Half an hour from Passo Lanciano and Roccaraso where you can ski. Just 25 minutes by car from the beautiful beaches of Abruzzo and the D'Annunzio trabocchi.
It is an hour from Rome.
This is a place to totally unwind and explore the 'greenest region in Europe'. In Cugnoli, winters are mild and sunny, great for sightseeing and hiking. Our surroundings are breathtaking, private and we feel privileged to be able to share our unique view. Although the house is private and rural, it's just a 6 minute drive to all amenities. There is an excellent selection of well-priced local Italian cuisine, and of course one is spoiled for choice in the wine department. Local fresh cheeses and specialty pastries from the nearby towns and hilltop villages are available. The replies to the local architecture style, spacious, light and has an uninterrupted panorama. All rooms are individually decorated with attention to detail. Bedding and sheets are 100% cotton and the kitchens have everything to make a culinary delight.
The Villa is 40 mins drive from Ski slopes and lifts at Passo Lanciano, where you can enjoy sampled after a day on the slopes. Prices are much more reasonable than other tourist filled places in Italy. Great fun for families or beginners, as there are ski instructors available, and tobogganing. Slightly further away is Rocarasso, a lager ski resort.

The Villa has an immaculate garden, overlooking the olive groves, and an uninterrupted view to the Maiella mountains. Outdoor BBQ for al Fresco dining areas in the garden and ample parking. Modern bathrooms with walk in showers. The rural settlement can be booked as whole, or in part. The villa and the other apartments have separate entrances. The Villa is a perfect romantic honeymoon destination. We provide a complimentary food basket of essentials, such as tea / coffee / salt / pepper / oil / wine.
We live here permanently and therefore be contactable for any queries or recommendations you require. We have had fantastic feedback from our guests, and if you have love for nature and the road less traveled, then you will fall in love with this place. Local people are very friendly. Abruzzo is unspoiled and the quality of fresh produce and wines are abundant. The reasonable prices make this stunning region a preferable option than other over priced and crowded areas in Italy.
The Adriatic coast is 25 minutes drive, the sea is warm and the coastline lined with great fish restaurants. There are towns, cities and villages within 45 minutes drive with different historical sites, foods and authentic Italian shops. There's lots to explore, but we think that just spending time at the rural settlement, you will feel very close to nature. It's a tranquil experience just to lounge around the garden and drink in the view and listen to windows and donkeys around. We are on 6 acres of land, which we harvest, and produces a single summer, cold pressed virgin olive oil. There are many paths to the energy for a good walk. We have often seen foxes, wild boar (wild boar), wild rabbits and even buck in our extended garden.

A car can be hired from Rome airport, or check if you are able to get a local flight to Pescara or Ancona airports. Pescara Airport is 20 minutes away
