Thank you for your review. We're glad to hear that you found the house well equipped for your large group and the pool and gardens immaculate. Thank you for your review. We are glad you loved this place. Sorry you happened to come at a time when Italy was experiencing non seasonal and unusual weather, but good to hear you still managed to use the pool. We hope to hear from you again! Lorraine at tuscan-retreats

Thank you for your review. Glad to hear you loved the place and made the most of all the garden facilities. We hope to hear from you again. Lorraine at tuscan-retreats

Thank you for your review. We are glad you loved this Villa and the stunning and genuine Italian region of the Garfagnana! Rita would love to welcome you another time.

Thank you for your lovely review. Sorry about the trains - Piazza al Serchio is a train station where all trains usually stop but the entire network at this end of the valley was out for a few weeks (and we were not given notice!) with a replacement bus service taking passengers further south - this was due to essential safety being undertaken. The station is usually a very handy addition to the house. I have checked the rubbish info and it is correct, so it may have been timing or sometimes the lorries just leave rubbish if it hasn't been correctly sorted. Sorry for the inconvenience! Happy to hear you had a lovely time over all and enjoyed the villa, the pool and the care from the owners. We hope to hear from you another time. Best wishes, Lorraine at tuscan-retreats

Thank you for the lovely review! We are delighted that you enjoyed the great pool, the shaded seating areas, and the peaceful, pleasant atmosphere of the house. We hope to welcome you back again in the future! Best regards, The Tuscan Retreats Team

Thank you for the wonderful review and high recommendation! The hosts will be delighted to hear how much you enjoyed the homemade cake, prosecco, and fresh pasta, as well as the seamless communication. We're thrilled that both families enjoyed the spacious villa, beautiful garden, mountain views, and the pool area. We would love to welcome you all back to Villa Piazza in the future! Best regards, The Tuscan Retreats Team

Thank you for taking the time to leave your feedback. We’re very glad you were able to enjoy your stay overall and appreciate your detailed comments. We’re sorry for the inconvenience you experienced on arrival due to the unexpected roadworks. Unfortunately, the owner only became aware that the works had made the road impassable around the same time you were arriving. As soon as we were informed, both the owner and our team (Tuscan-retreats) acted quickly to arrange for the kind neighbor to assist you in reaching the house, as the owner was at work at the time. We're very grateful for your patience and understanding in that situation. Regarding the other concerns: we would like to reassure you that both the owner and our team are always on hand to help with any issues during your stay. The owner is actually a qualified electrician and would have been happy to immediately check and resolve any problems with sockets, lightbulbs, or other electrical issues—they may have been affected by the storm. If we had been contacted during your stay, we would have sorted these matters promptly. We also appreciate you bringing the fridge-freezer to our attention. We’re glad you were able to make use of the additional kitchen downstairs, and we have raised this point with the owner. Thank you again for your feedback—it’s very helpful to us. We hope you still enjoyed your time in beautiful Villa Piazza and the surrounding area. Best wishes, Lorraine at tuscan-retreats

Dear Ingo, Thank you very much for this very nice review! We are really happy to hear that you and your family enjoyed the stay at this spacious property. We will forward your praise to the owners and we hope to hear from you again in the future. Best regards, The team at Tuscan Retreats

Dear Patricia, Thank you for the review! We are happy to hear that you enjoyed the stay at the property. Regarding the pool it is solar heated which means that it is warmer than a non heated pool but not as warm as a pool with traditional heating. The temperature of the water also depends on the weather. We hope to hear from you again in the future. Best regards, The team from Tuscan Retreats

Thank you for your review. We are glad you enjoyed the spaciousness of this place and the care of the owners. I am sorry to hear about the dogs and will investigate further. Best wishes, Lorraine at tuscan-retreats

Thank you for your review. We are glad you enjoyed your stay. The mattress has been changed, and the owners have agreed to take out alot of the spare bedding and towels in the wardrobes etc. Thank you for raising this. We hope to hear from you another time, Lorraine at tuscan-retreats

Thank you for taking your time to complete such a comprehensive review and for the 5 stars. The owners work hard to keep the place lovely. We will pass back the comments re sunbeds to ensure more are in place for next year. Glad you enjoyed the real charm of this villa which is 'real' Italian living! We hope to welcome you another time. Thank you for your review and for recommending the place to friends. Happy to hear you enjoyed the place, and we would be happy to welcome you again. Best wishes Lorraine at Tuscan-retreats

Thank you for your review, and we are glad you enjoyed this spacious house and the area too. I will pass on your comments re adaptors, although for future guests, do note that since adaptors disappear very regularly it is a good idea to bring your own. The house is usually very cool so long as the shutters are used in the heat of the day, but fans are available on request (they are not provided as a matter of course, since due to the altitude and the mountain air it is very rare that they are needed,). Thanks again Lorraine at Tuscan-retreats

Thank you for your review. Lovely to hear you found this to be a beautiful place. We agree that this spacious house is fantastic for larger families and also that the gardens and pool are gorgeous. We are happy to know that Rita is looking after her guests so well. She would be pleased to welcome you again. Lorraine at tuscan-retreats
