Was nice vacation

Reviewer Comments: The place was very nice, the only complaints would be the control for the main tv would not work,the dryer made a very loud squeaky noise.

Great condo!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The condo was nicely furnished and had everything we needed. The reservation team at Seascape (thanks, Angie!) was great to work with. There were a couple of maintenance items we needed to have taken care of and they were quickly completed. It was a great experience.

Our room Could use a few updates and renovations. A nice short walk to the beach. Smelled like weed constantly. Kitchen towels would have been nice. Floors were sandy and wet when we arrived. The view was very nice though. We didn’t have any luck with weather. Rained every day. Location of the resort was good.

Disappointing Stay Due to Safety Concerns, Rudeness and Policies

Rating Details: The property manager was very unhelpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We arrived during a tropical storm warning, so wind and rain were expected. However, when we entered our condo, water had accumulated in the doorway and left the tile entry floor dangerously slippery. I lost my footing as I stepped inside. At 80 years old and using a walker, I believe I would have fallen had I not had it for support. I still struck the door frame, badly bruising my hip and straining my back.My daughter reported the hazard to a maintenance employee in the lobby, asking that warning signs be placed for guests. She did not yet know I had been injured; she simply wanted to prevent someone else, especially an elderly guest, from falling. The employee’s response was extremely rude: he told her to stay in the room and not walk through the water. We had just checked in and had no warning that the entrance floor would be wet and unsafe.The office employee my daughter called afterward was kind and apologized for his behavior, but my vacation was already ruined. Because of the hip injury and back pain, I was unable to leave the condo for the rest of our stay.The rest of the family was also disappointed. Our condo pools were closed two of the three days, while pools at other condos in the same resort remained open. My family had to go to a crowded community pool and were eventually asked to leave because of overcrowding, yet resort rules would not allow us to use the other open pools.Our unit was clean and well stocked, but the lack of concern for guest safety, the rude maintenance employee, and the lack of response to our emailed complaint left us very disappointed. Unfortunately, we cannot recommend Seascape Resorts.

I sympathize with you on not being able to enjoy the vacation as intended. All the issues that you mentioned are due to the Ariel Dunes II Homeowners Association. Sideways rain during a Tropical Storm is going to be intrusive. AD II HOA is in control of their pools and if they deemed it unsafe to use the pools, we cannot control that. I am sorry that the timing of your vacation was during the storm. We can only control the unit we manage.

Our Winter Stay at Seascape

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We were in 1004 Ariel Dunes II from Dec. 23 2023 to March 15 2024 and very much enjoyed our stay. The Seascape staff were unfailing responsive and helpful. Our condo was clean and comfortable; a few improvements to the furnishings and refrigerator would be much appreciated before our return next winter.

This trip,we noticed some opportunities for improvement in the cleaning process. Found dirty towels in the chest of drawers and found trash (empty capri sun container) behind night stand in the secondary bedroom. Some of the cookware needs to be replaced due to wear.

First Snowbird Trip

Dishes were put away dirty; so, we had to wash before we could use. Cupboards had not been washed and walls were dirty. Shower door has mold on bottom. Furniture had not been moved for cleaning. TV’s need to updated.

An enjoyable getaway.

The unit was excellent, although the second bedroom was a bit small. Only real issue was the check-in. We applied online for two parking passes but only received one. Management was was very helpful in getting us the second one but shouldn't have had to deal with this while on vacation. The whole idea of vacation is to get away from anything that feels like "work". We also never received the security card needed for the Workout Room. We were told that to get it, we had to do more "work". We didn't bother. Other than the check-in issues which are very "fixable", it was a great overall experience.

Clean, beautiful view

We had a little family reunion and this condo was a great size for four adults and two kids. We enjoyed the pools, short walk to the beach, and nearby bars and restaurants.

Great Condo!

We decided on a very last minute trip to my favorite beach! We found this place and it was perfect! The views were amazing. We would definitely rent this place again!

Great vacation spot!

We loved staying at Seascape for our family vacation. The pools are great and we rented a golf cart to easily transport everything to the beach. Condo was clean and comfortable!
