Apartment Nicole is a modern, top floor apartment with private terrace and balcony and breath-taking mountain and sea views across to Dubrovnik old town.
An air-conditioned apartment with two spacious bedrooms, each with an en-suite bath/shower room. Both rooms have a king size bed, and one has an additional single day bed. There is a fully equipped kitchen (with dishwasher and washing machine) and an open plan living/dining room with patio doors leading out to a private balcony, where guests can sit and enjoy uninterrupted views of the spectacular sunsets for which the Cavtat region is so well known. The apartment even has a floor standing telescope for guests to enjoy the panoramic views or gaze at the moon and stars!
The large outdoor swimming pool is shared with the 8 other apartments in the block and is available from 1st May to end of September. It is not available for use in April, and October depends on the weather situation.

Although the apartment is on the top floor, due to the topography, it has its own private entrance from the road with just 7 steps to the front door giving you all the benefits of penthouse living without lots of stairs to climb!
Zal Beach in front of Hotel Albatross is 15 minutes’ walk from the apartment, has a giant inflatable for children to play on. Further up the beach is a quieter area hedged by pine trees where you can sunbathe or relax amongst the shade of the trees whilst enjoying a leisurely lunch or drink at one of the restaurants, cafes or bars. Plenty of water sports are on offer including kayaking, pedal boats, jet skiing and paddle boards etc. You can also get a water taxi to Dubrovnik Old Town, book a boat trip to one of the many beautiful, unspoilt local islands, or book a coach trip to Kotor in Montenegro or Mostar in Bosnia plus several other places of interest.
The nearest supermarket is 10-15 minutes’ walk up the hill from the apartment, as is the bus stop for the bus to Dubrovnik. The nearest cash machine and souvenir shops are at the beach.
For those hiring a car Montenegro and Bosnia are each approximately 30 minutes’ drive. Dubrovnik is approximately 20 minutes by car. Free parking is available directly outside the apartment.
A visit to Cavtat old town - a friendly, small, award-winning town - is a must and a pleasant 25-minute walk from the apartment, along the beautiful coast path passing by several bars and restaurants.
Cavtat has many wonderful restaurants, bars and beaches to choose from, and during the summer months has its own free Summer Festival with traditional singers and dancers etc. performing. The beautiful Franciscan monastery hosts regular evening concerts in its atmospheric cloisters, whilst the promenade is the perfect place to enjoy a meal or drink, whilst admiring the beautiful sailing boats and super yachts often moored in the port.

Lovely new apartment with stunning views

Lovely apartment in a beautiful part of Croatia with fabulous views. Good exercise walking up the steep hill everyday! Some may find having a car is easier but there are also plenty of taxis around. Very clean, spacious apartment and very well equipped. Thank you to Ida for being very helpful and organising airport transfers

Sublime view

Lovely apartment, very comfortable with lots of space and a bright spacious kitchen and living area. The highlight was the balcony which faces the bay of Cavtat, with Dubrovnik in the distance, and the sunset in direct view. Sitting here at any time of the day was a treat, listening to the birds and local neighbors pottering in their gardens, very relaxing. The pool was very refreshing and never crowded. Be prepared for a good walk to get to the local sights, it was our morning exercise! but worth it. There are plenty of taxis and Uber rides to get back up the hill, which were very reasonably priced. The locals are friendly, smiling and very pleasant. Ida, our host, was fantastic, very helpful and a pleasure to communicate with. Easy to get to Dubrovnik by water taxi, bus or Uber. A must see, so beautiful. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

Lovely apartment with everything you need

The apartment was spotlessly clean, good sized rooms and bathrooms, and had everything you could think of that you would need. Even extra things like binoculars to admire the beautiful view. Ida checked us in and was very informative. She even did a shop for us for essentials for our arrival and left the receipt so we knew how much everything was, and she didn't charge us anything extra, which was very handy as we were tired after an early morning flight. We got to witness gorgeous sunsets from the balcony, such a lovely view. Beautiful. The pool was shared, but you got this to yourself at times and whenever there were people there, they were always friendly. Our air conditioning stopped working and was fixed in less than 24hours, so the management was excellent. The beach was 1km away, a 15 min walk, down hill. The cafes and bars another 10-15mins walk away in the same direction. If you don't like to walk, it's probably easy enough to get Ubers or taxis. The supermarket was up a very steep hill, but less than a 10 min walk and downhill when you're loaded with stuff. The apartment is located in a quiet area, but as mentioned not too far from the bars and cafes. The only negative, is that when you arrive its not too far off a busy road which you can see from the balcony if you look to try right and back a bit, and your in the flight path. And when you arrive it looks like there is a building site across the road. But actually none of these things matter as you walk through the front door and don't see any of it at all, as you sit on the balcony and just look at the stunning view. I just thought I would mention it, because it was a surprise for me, although I may have read it and forgot. Would definitely stay again.

Wonderful family holiday in Cavtat

We’ve just returned from a wonderful two week holiday in apartment Nicole. During lockdown Ida was amazing, keeping in contact regularly and couldn’t do enough for us. She helped us find a car and organised transport for us along with sorting out any teething problems we had. We would definitely recommend staying here. It was clean and very spacious with the most amazing view! The only downside is the extremely steep hill so a car is neeeded or a taxi for the way home! We will definitely return. We fell in love with Croatia 😃

There is a spacious shared pool on ground floor level and the closest and main pebble beach Zal in front of Hotel Albatros is just 15 minutes walk where you can find closest bar and restaurant. The town center is about half an hour walk along beautiful sea shore.
