SKIWATCH offers the ultimate in ski-in/ski-out locations, and our UNIT 101 in Skiwatch offers the best among the units in terms of location, convenience & comfort!

Our unit is centrally located in the resort, right on the slopes of Peak 8, just above the Colorado and Rocky Mountain superchiars ā€“ just open the sliding glass door from the living room,snap on your skis or board off of the patio, and ride down to start your day! You can just as easily ski right back to the condo to take a break, warm up, or enjoy a meal. We offer absolute comfort & absolute convenience for all alike - novice/beginner, intermediate, advanced, as well as expert skiers. Peak 8 provides convenient access to Peaks 6 through 10, and you're never too far from the condo, no matter which part of Breckenridge you choose to explore. The lower reaches of all 4 peaks offer easy terrain, but the lifts can take you to the most exhilarating and challenging trails at the very top of each of the peaks. At any time of the day, or at the end of the day, ski right back to the patio, relax, warm up and rest your gaze on the gorgeous views!

This 2-bedroom, 2-full bath condo is comfortably appointed, newly renovated throughout, including furnishings and fixtures. Each room looks out over the slopes: the fully equipped kitchen has ample space to prepare and enjoy meals, with beautiful natural light coming through; the living room has a gas fireplace to ensure you get both the ambiance and warmth from a lovely fire, and the sofa can be pulled out to accommodate two people on its queen-sized mattress; the master bedroom has an en-suite bathroom, and can accommodate up to 3 people with its queen bed and day-bed; the 2nd bedroom can sleep up to 5 people, as it is fitted with a queen bed and bunk bed (twin mattress on top, and futon below that can be used as a sofa in the daytime and full-sized bed at night); the second bathroom is located just off of the hallway between the living room and 2nd bedroom, and like the master bath, has been updated with new fixtures and fittings. You'll be able to enjoy free WiFi throughout the condo as well as all common areas of the building, and our living room and both bedrooms have flat-screen TVs connected to satellite service, so you'll always have great ways to relax at the end of the day & connect with friends and family, or catch up on work.

The building has attached, private, covered parking on two levels, so you won't have to worry about the elements when coming to/from your car. The restaurants and the Base facilities at One Ski Hill Place are amenable to SkiWatch guests - with lounges, rentals for ski/board equipment and bikes just a couple minutes walk from the condo. The Peak 8 daycare center and ski-school are also conveniently located at the Base near the superchairs, so families won't have to worry about being too far from each other or the condo at any given time. Free shuttle buses to town, and to all of Summit County as well as Vail/Beaver Creek, are also just steps away, offering easy, worry-free transportation for a night on the town or spending the day taking runs on a neighboring mountain (e.g. Keystone, Vail, Beaver Creek, A-Basin, etc.) You can also enjoy panoramic views and easy access to downtown Breckenridge via the BreckConnect Gondola, which runs between the base of Peak 8 (again, just steps from Unit #101) to Peak 7 and town.

Nothing beats the grand mountain vistas seen from our condo, and the convenient access to mountain adventures from our unit is bar-none. Come and enjoy your home away from home - this is what Alpine Living was meant to be!

Great location

First time to stay at this property. Stayed at many others but this was by far the best lift accessible condo that we have ever stated at. Very convenient to ski in for lunch or bathroom break. Views are nice too. Room was very comfortable.

Awesome location!

We always look for true ski-in/ski-out and we found it here. The location was great - step out the patio door, put on skis and go. You just need to get some good speed to make it up the hill to the patio to get back in. Pros - LOCATION, decent kitchen, two outdoor hot tubs, off-street parking space, 2 queen beds in second bedroom Cons (and I'm being very picky here) - wonky layout, no king bed in main bedroom, limit on number of towels provided While we were there a couple things broke (light in kitchen and gas fireplace) but Malathy was very prompt to respond and take care of everything. She was great! We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely come back.

Amazing location and service

SkiWatch101 is true ski in and ski out. You can ski down several peaks to about 15 feet from the back deck, where you can kick your skis off and then take off your boots on the balcony. And you can walk about 15 feet from the balcony, snap on your skis, and head down to any of 5 different lifts that will take you to any peak you want. You get views of the slopes and peaks across the valley from every window. The unit is 2 BR/2 BA with a queen bed and futon in one room and a queen and single/double bunk beds in the other. Kitchen and living room seating are ample. The gas fireplace is toasty. The big screen TV allowed us watch the big games. We appreciated the easy garage parking. We didn't need the personal ski lockers because our balcony was so convenient. The owner is extremely responsive. We had a couple of issues that were not the owner's fault and they were handled promptly and politely.

Excellent Stay Over Spring Break!

We had a wonderful stay at Ski Watch during spring break this year! The location (lifts right outside the patio door) is perfect and the accommodations were just right for our family of 6 (Grandparents, Parents, and 2 young children). The owner of this property made the entire process extremely easy as they were very attentive and were willing to work with us on a few requests we had. I highly recommend Ski Watch and will certainly consider it in the future!

Description accurate, kitchen well equipped, we made most of our meals there because we were just too tired to go out! The altitude can get to you, we bought some canisters of oxygen that helped.Frequently we would come home for lunch or to take a break. The property was clean and had all the incidentals that you might need. The Owner was very gracious and accommodating, replying quickly to any needs or questions. I would definitely recommend this Condo to a friend!

No Better Location! True Ski-In Ski-Out

Our family has been visiting Breck for years and have stayed in a variety of places that all claim to be ski-in/ ski-out, but they all had logistical challenges to get to the slopes. SkiWatch 101 has an amazing view of three chair lifts and the terrain park. So fun to watch all the skiers cruise by and even better to ski out from the porch down to the lifts. We skied in for lunch, snacks and coffee whenever we wanted, which saved us money and time away from the snow. No ski lockers, we just left our gear on the back porch and were ready to go hit the snow after coffee and breakfast. Ski down to Peak 8 Ski School with the kids, sled in the evening, or just watch the beautiful sunset from the living room or porch. SkiWatch 101 has it all! Yes, the building is a bit older and not as "finished" as some of the newer condos, but I'll make that trade any day for the best location on the mountain! Highly recommend and we will be back!

EXCELLENT LOCATION!

This condo was way better than we expected! It is advertised as a ski in ski out. If Breck hadn't just gotten 60" of snow before we arrived we could have skied up to the porch door! Instead we had to walk 30 feet from where we could ski to. (poor us, right!) We put lunch in the crock pot every morning and skied in for our meal and warm up! Avoided crowded expensive lodges and tromping around in ski boots. We left the patio door unlocked and were in and out all day! I read a review that construction is blocking the view. Not so! We had a great view of the lifts and the big air jumps. The condo is clean and roomy. We sat in the hot tub daily and watched the last skiers of the day go down the slopes. It is only 10 steps out of a heated room. Indoor parking was close to the room. This is a great building, and this is the BEST location by far from any of the other rooms. Malathy was so helpful with information not only about the condo, but town and activities. She texted back almost immediately with answers to all my questions. She knows this unit and all of its contents. Very knowledgeable and useful! We will definitely be back to rent next year!!!

If the view from the front porch doesn't get you excited you should prolly just stick to golf. Just uphill from the main lift, always first in line and you can run in for a quick snack or beer. You can ride within about 10 steps of the porch from the slope. Pretty close to the community hot tubs. Nice indoor parking We stayed here for a batchlor weekend and shredded our faces off. Our batchlor hit 62 mph on his snowboard on one run, then smashed a tree with his face later in the day- It was awesome!! While it is not the largest place its about the best value for someone wanting direct access to the snow. I would love to go again any time.

Fabulous Ski in ski out spot!!

We have stayed at some really great ski in ski out spots. With 2 young (not so young anymore) boys it is the only way to go for a easy family ski trip. This location was great! The condo accommodations were perfect to put both boys in the room and they could have their own bed! Sitting outside on the back porch in the afternoon and watching the last skiers come in was relaxing. I would recommend this spot to everyone! The Owner, Malathy, was SO helpful and accommodating!! She answered my text and e mails promptly with even the smallest questions. I would also highly recommend "The ski butler" to bring your ski's, boots, and even helmets to the condo for the EASIEST rental EVER!!! ( Malathy's recommendation :-).

Great view and great location!

This I s the premiere Ski in/ski out condo on Peak 8. It is a first floor condo with a porch right on the snow! You can ski down to any of the lifts at the Peak 8 base, and it is easy to ski right in when you are ready for a hot chocolate or lunch break. The condo has plenty of seating in the family room, making it perfect for a family. We have stayed at many Skiwatch properties over the years and this is by far our favorite!

Great location. Needs attention.

This condo is definitely located in a wonderful ski in ski out location. I would like to point out some things that might be important to some. The condo is located off a blue easy/intermediate run. The access has changed as there is a resort/condo in construction right off the patio. We were disappointed to find a chain link fence obstructing some of our view. Unfortunately, Malathy (the owner) was not aware of this. The unit itself has a beautiful re-done kitchen complete with granite and tile backdrop. The rest of the unit desperately needs the same. The furniture, fixtures, carpet and bathrooms are all quite dated. It wouldn't be so bad, if housekeeping would do a better job of cleaning. Everything felt dusty. The cookie sheet and muffin pan had been put back completely dirty and there were consistent signs of poor upkeep. Upon arrival, I immediately let Malathy know that the unit suffered neglect such as a broken picture frame and that it had not been cleaned properly. She was very apologetic. The star rating was difficult as the location deserves 5 stars, but unfortunately due to poor maintenance and the dated feel of the unit, I can only give it 3.

Perfect location for !

We made an early ski season trip and stayed at Skiwatch. The location was amazing. 10 steps off the back porch, and we were skiing down to the lifts. It was so great to be able to come back to the condo for lunch each day. This was the most ski in/ski out condo we have stayed in and it was wonderful. It was also quick and easy to drive down to town. The condo was very clean and comfortable for our trip! The owner was so helpful with any question I had. We definitely plan to stay again when we come back to Breck for our next ski trip!!!

Spring Break 2015

My family stayed at this condo for spring break this year and had a great time. The location is excellent and the skiing was great, however the exterior pictures need to be updated because there is a giant construction project going up in front of this condo and half of our view was of a condo construction project with the area in front of the condo fenced off. the interior of the condo is a bit dated, but if you are OK with that you can strap on your skis and get right to the base of peak 8 which is really awesome. We were charged an additional $100.00 from our deposit for checking in 40 minutes early which was unfortunate, so if you rent this condo be sure to check in on time. Other than that we had a great time

Nice Place, Fantastic Proximity

If you are looking for a great Ski-In and Ski-Out lodging opportunity, this spot at Breckenridge can't be beat. Its easier to ski out the back door of this condo than it is to find your way out from the ski locker well down the hall. Once we realized this, we were essentially skiing out of the kitchen direct to the lifts. It's that easy and so convenient its funny. Great if you have layered-up too much, need to strip down, get first run, have lunch indoors at the condo, check email, make a phone call, etc... Going back out to ski is always an option. The snow cats groom right out the window! Soo cool. The Condo building is a drive to the top of the mountain and is easily accessible. The underground garage is easy. The outdoor hot tub and steam room is also easy. The workout room is small and uninviting. The condo itself is a bit dated but everything works. Its not the 4 seasons, so if you are picky that way, take note. There are extra cozy blankets, fireplace works and TV reception is good. Internet access is no problem. This is a great location and the price is great too. I went with my brothers and stayed 7 nights. Note that there is no action at night at the top of this mountain location but by car (recommended) the entire town of Breck is at the bottom of the hill (a 5 minute drive). The building has an on site Manager which is great if you lock your self out. I would return to this place. Thanks!

Great location. Great value.

I have stayed at this condo several times over the past 8-10 years. There is not a better ski in/out location in this price range anywhere. If you are very bold (and willing to potentially forfeit your security deposit) you could ski down the hill, onto the patio, through the sliding glass door, and right into the cozy living room. Then, after lunch and warm by the fire, ski off the patio downhill a few feet to the lift. The condo is alway clean and comfortable with everything that you need. The kind owner/manager has consistently been fair and responsive. This includes helping me find solutions to booking concerns, timely and accurate security deposit returns, and promptly resolving a once reported maintenance issue. Book confidently and have a great time at SW 101.

Spring Skiing

We had a great time at Breck in March. Ski Watch 101 was a fabulous place to stay...truly ski in/ski out. We were even able to walk back up the hill to the condo after aprĆØs ski at the lodge, and the slope side hot tubs were perfect to soothe tired legs. Great Location!

Great location, right off the slopes. My family and I (4 adults and 1 child) stayed at this condo and had plenty of room. A true ski-in/ski-out. Being able to roll in at anytime to grab a snack, take a break, and warm up really helps keep you going all day. Highly recommend.

January In Breck!!

My two teenage sons, husband and myself stayed at SkiWatch 101 for a week in mid January..Let me start..The VIEWS!! .Its located so you can enjoy sitting in your livingroom, with the easy Gas Fireplace while soaking up the views of the halfpipe and ski jumps or stroll outside on the patio with a hot toddy and watch the snowboarders and skiers zip by..Easy access is an understatement..Its the only unit that I saw where you literally ski right out..no stairs just snow!!.The layout of the condo was spacious and extremely comfortable...Plenty of commercial washers and dryers just one floor up and they were always available..The bathrooms were clean and the kitchen properly stocked with pots, pans etc..The best part was you walk(extremely short) or ski down the hill to an outdoor cafƩ and only steps to the Free Gondola that takes you to town..If you are a true skier or snowboarder this is the place for you!!!!

We had a wonderful ski vacation at Ski Watch 101! We are a family of five from Florida and our children are 8, 7 and 7 years old. We had grandma with us, so we were 6 in total. The kids had never been skiing before this trip. We had stayed several times at Ski Watch pre-kids, so we knew what to expect. It is an older facility and you are paying for the location. If you are expecting shiny, new and perfect, this condo may not be for you. If you are coming to ski, the location is perfect! Ski rental is at the base of the mountain. We loved being right on the mountain and watching the Snowcats groom the slopes each evening out the window. Grandma does not ski and had a perfect view of the slopes all day. We easily got groceries by riding the gondola to the grocery store. We took the free bus in town to eat at restaurants. We did have to buy a frying pan in order to cook for 6 and there wasnā€™t cabinet space for groceries. No big deal, though. The ski school is very close, but is down quite a slope. You can rent kids skies from the school and leave them there each night or rent at the ski shop and carry them back to the condo at night. By the SECOND day, all three kids skied to the ski school in the morning and skied back to the condo at night on green slopes, so no more lugging skies back home! The owner of the unit was very helpful and informative. She gave us lots of tips on how to make the most out of our stay. Let me tell you, I had PLENTY of questions, because this was our first trip with the kids. On wash day, our clothes would not dry and we were at risk of being late for a snow mobile expedition. A worker at the condo was very kind and offered to fold our clothes when they were dry and put them in our unit for us! How can you beat that? Overall, we loved our stay! The location cannot be beat!

Rental Experience

The location of this unit is unique. The lifts at Peak 8 are easily visible so lift lines can be assessed before venturing out. The jumps from the Dew Tour were also visible and provided entertainment. We found parts of the unit nice and other parts dated. The kitchen was recently updated. The sliding door came off its track while we were there. The bathrooms were older and had plastic removable strains on them with written instructions taped to the wall on their use. The reading chair in the living room was older and had a sheet like cover. Internet was through the building common area and was spotty. Washer and dryer were not in the unit. The owner was very positive and helpful at setting up the rental. As noted by a previous guest, the owner was aggressive with the security deposit. After reporting the problem with the door, the owner found other issues with our stay. She would only discuss the issues in writing. To summarize: great location, facilities adequate, unprofessional owner.

We liked SkiWatch101 - the unit has generous space, great views, and location. Kitchen was well stocked. We had plenty of hot water, and the beds were comfortable. The owner was attentive, and helpful. We look forward to staying again.
