"The Sandbar" 2 story Townhome Across the Street from the Beach!

This is a newer unit, construction built in 2015. It is only a hop, skip, and jump away from your front porch to the beautiful beach. Just grab the kids, sunscreen, flip flops, and cold drinks and walk across the street. The beach is also vehicle accessible if you wanted to take your personal vehicle on to the beach with your BBQ pit to cook and tailgate to sit on. There is a beautiful beach view from the balcony. Great place for you and the family to come enjoy your time at this beautiful vacation spot in front of the beach! It's a 2 story, 3 bedroom, 2 1/2 bath that sleeps 7. The big open floor plan on the 1st floor is perfect for a group of family or friends to share laughs, meals, and entertainment with the kitchen, dinning room, living room, along with the washer, dryer, and 1/2 bath. All three bedrooms are located upstairs along with 2 full bathrooms and a loft at the top of the stairs which is a great place for the kids to hang out. There is a TV in every bedroom, the loft area and the living room and cable and wifi are provided. You will also love sitting out at night on the balcony listening to the waves crash under the moonlight. There is also a picnic table and chairs on the 1st floor patio. Don't forget to grab your towels and enjoy the sparkling salt water pool that is heated in the winter time. I hope you enjoy your stay at The Sandbar Condo!

Great location. Pool was nice. The absolute best equipped kitchen we’ve rented at a VRBO. Beds were comfortable and we slept well. Only suggestion to future renters is bring your own toilet paper.

Our stay was absolutely wonderful! The home was fully stocked, clean, and comfortable. Every room had a TV, perfect for relaxing on rainy days. But the best part was how close the unit was to the beach and the oceanfront view from the top balcony!

Quite Spot Close to Beach

This is an awesome spot close to the beach and a short drive to food and shopping. Plenty of room for 6-8 people to spread out or be together.

Relaxing

We enjoyed our stay. The condo was a nice size. On Saturday night though there was a big party so we didn't alot of sleep that night. We also went to the pool on Sunday and the pool had bottle caps on the bottom of the pool there was food in and around the pool.

Vacay with a Tropical Storm

We had an amazing stay at the Sandbar with our extended family in the same complex. The condo was equipped with EVERYTHING we could possibly need. The condo was so close to beach access. There was plenty of room for my family of five. We will definitely be staying at this property again!! Even though the storm brought rain we still had an amazing time!

Extremely Pleasant Stay

We enjoyed our stay so much! We weren’t expecting all of the extras that were included with our rental. Dishes, cooking ware , spices, baggies, foil , shampoo, conditioner and complimentary coffee and wine plus many other amenities. The pool area is very nice and clean. The beds are extremely comfortable. We walked to the beach and we’re able to get there in less than 5 minutes. We are definitely looking forward to renting this property next summer!

Beautiful Townhome

This townhome is exactly as pictured. Parking was easy, and an easy walk to the front door. Walking to the beach was a bit further than anticipated with no sidewalk on the busy street, but we made due! Quiet neighborhood, and beautiful view of the beach from the upstairs balcony!

Great location, fair price, friendly staff.

Loved the location, friendly staff, beautiful view this Condo had everything we needed. The only thing was the ceiling fans were dirty and there were piles of dirt or sand in corners and the living room area was dusty, the sofa recliner was broken. Overall we had a great time. We will rent these Condo’s again. Another thing is we wish the bedrooms were downstairs as we all have medical difficulties climbing stairs.

Very Nice

The condo was very nice and comfortable. Lots of room for the 6 of us and the kitchen and living areas were spacious to hang out. Everything worked well and was well stocked. Only down side was the pool, which was very crowded with lots of kids , but we spent most of our time at the beach. The beach was great! Very clean!

Birthday trip

Nice town home with plenty of room. Kitchen was fully stocked, linens and bath supplies, and beach chairs and towels were available. The only negative was the dirt on the floor and holes in the wall. Notified property manager of the holes in the wall but did not receive a response.

This VRBO really impressed us with the fully thought out accommodations. They were completely stocked and had literally everything you could possibly need. They went above and beyond to provide an exceptional experience. From the fully stocked kitchen, including snacks, wine and a complete coffee bar to the provided toiletries and beach gear. Seriously, if you forgot something they had it. If you want a cozy place walking distance to the beach with a pool and don’t want to have to worry about a thing, this is your place. We had a fantastic stay and will be back!

Mini vacay on North Padre!

This was the perfect spot, close to the beach (a short walk), easy parking, nearby shops and markets, and an overall quiet and family friendly atmosphere. The kids enjoyed the pool late into the evening. The house had all the essentials, including some items left by other guests…so there were also beach chairs and a foldable wagon. Our last night someone had taken one of our parking spots and we really wanted to make sure our pre-packed items were safe so we messaged Randy late and he responded quickly to follow through with enforcing their parking policies. Randy was attentive and helpful. Our teens are asking us to book it again next year!

Filthy property

This property was so dirty. Trash on the porch, hairs on the sheets in the beds, large dirty smudges in the shower, broken towel racks, toilet paper holders, patio chairs, dishes that smelled like pot, and a package of marijuana in a kitchen cabinet. Would absolutely not recommend.

Graduation Trip

We drove down to attend my daughters graduation from TAMUCC, the condo was just as pictured - I was surprised at how well stocked this condo was and didn't expect it. It was very nice that welcome snacks were provided as well as a bottle of wine, that was totally unexpected and such a thoughtful thing to do. It was also nice to have so many different spices, coffees, pots and pans, beach chairs, etc. available for use. We also enjoyed drinking our coffee on the balcony watching the waves in the morning, very nice to have a view of the beach. The bed we slept in was very comfortable, not sure I have stayed in a place where it was that comfortable to be honest. The only complaint I had is that there was alot of sand on the floor when we arrived but other than that, condo was great and I would definitely come back.

Beautiful and Well Kept!

Thank you so much for the obvious pride you have in this place. Our family loved it so much that I am planning to book again this month! The access to the beach was convenient. Everything was great as far as quality. Would have loved to have had a fluffier pillow, it was sufficient for rest but I am used to a higher thread count and fluffy pillow (just a small personal preference). Also, a can opener would be a great addition to the kitchen. We appreciate your friendly, and courteous staff and efficient processing of our request for information!!! Thanks again. #GoDers

The place is very dirty

The floor was very dirty, lots food, sand and other stuff. It took us almost 1 hour to clean and mop the floor. I thought we paid for cleaning fee. The front door lock was broken, could not open from the outside, had to get in and out from the back door. There was no garden hose to clean off sand and stuff.

Don’t bother

The unit smelled like cigarette smoke. The floors were filthy. Have never stayed in a rental property that was so poorly stocked with items like kitchen trash bags. Several of the lamps had no light bulbs. The furniture was uncomfortable especially the beds. Over all very disappointing.
