Room. The Kitchen has been completely updated and
offers new Cabinetry, Granite Counter tops & Stainless
Steel Appliances. Colonnade Club is one of Shipyard's
most popular Villas. Free WiFi.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The drier did not dry clothes.. The refrigerator did not keep food cool, nor the freezer. The AC did not cool well. The Condo was nice and very clean.

Rating Details: The property manager was somewhat unhelpful. The vacation rental was very dirty. I was somewhat unhappy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: I’m afraid this was the dirtiest condo I’ve stayed in in my life. I was forced to clean with bleach, the door knobs, light switches, the knobs and handles on all kitchen drawers and cabinets as well as bathrooms. The staff came in and ran a cleaner through the dishwasher but I used no dishes while there because they had remnants of coffee and food still on them. Staff also came back to clean master bath and kitchen floor. Left 2 days early because I couldn’t handle the nastiness anymore. Very disappointed overall. Sorry to have to look for another rental company.

It was not very clean and in the description it said the beach was a two minute walk. It was more of 15-20 min walk. For older people this was difficult. The view of the golf course was nice. We did enjoy our first trip to Hilton Head.

I can ́t recommend this apartment or this company!

Rating Details: The property manager was very unhelpful. The vacation rental was very dirty. I was more than happy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We have not had a good experience with Sea Turtle Getaways. Only hours before we arrived, we got a call. The woman on the phone told us that we can not move into the booked apartment because the air conditioning does not work. We only had the choice between two other apartments. We opted for the one that was looking on the pictures better and called again. Suddenly the lady wanted $1000 more although she had said before that her company would cover the extra costs. After long discussion she gave us the apartment. When we arrived at the apartment hit us the blow. The door of the apartment was covered with spider nets and totally filthy. Also in the apartment it was not clean, neither the sheets nor the towels. Everywhere was thick with dust and from the previous tenant still the remains of toothpaste in sink. The water in the shower ran very little. It was very late and due to the Labor Day weekend everything was booked, so we slept in the house. The next morning I called the lady and told her that we do not want to stay in the apartment, because it does not meet our standard and we have only one vacation a year and want to enjoy this and not spend with cleaning. The tenants before us have also already noted in the guest book that this apartment is very dirty, so this is not just our opinion She again discussed with us and charged us more than $300 for the night and wanted to have from us even a cleaning fee. All in all, we have not received our refund yet, even though the lady claims to have transferred it. We are very unhappy with this company, not only because she ruined our vacation, but because we now have to pay much more because of the sorth time we have to rental of another apartment. I can not recommend this to anyone. Vacation is the most important part of the year and should not start like this.

Family HHI stay

Overall experience very good. Balcony is screened in and rain does not drain well leaving need for power washing mold from cement floor.

196 Colonnade - Shipyard

Very much enjoyed our stay. Condo was in a great location, very nice pool. Loved the condo overall. The one comment would be the master shower had significant temperature shift [made showers exciting], and low water pressure compared to the other showers. Not a deal breaker, would stay here again.

Do Not Stay Here

Our experience with this condo was overall awful. First of all, the place smelled of rotten eggs and we had to call and make sure it wasn’t a natural gas leak. Everytime we ran the dishwasher, it also make the whole condo smell like rotten eggs. Next, the AC didn’t work. If you’ve ever stayed in SC during the summer, AC is a must. We had to call maintenance again and it took until Tuesday for the condo to cool appropriately. There were cockroaches in the master shower. There was trash as we first walked in the place upon arrival on Saturday. Please reconsider your vacation stay at a different condo because this place is not worth the money.

Patio itself very dirty. Air vents stained. If they spent little $$ to clean up would be great unit.

Nice roomy condo for a spring getaway.

Nice roomy condo for a spring getaway. Furniture and carpet are very dated. Screened in porch was great! Complete with daily alligator visitor. Booking was easy and company was responsive. Close 10 min walk to the beach, can’t get much better than that!

Long weekend

My husband and I enjoyed our stay at the property With our two grown children and our family pet. This was the first time we brought our dog to Hilton Head. This property was very easy to rent. The villa was spacious, lots of parking, the pool was close and the beach was about a 15 minute walk. Overall very happy with mini vacation.

Property was not ready for guests

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This propriety has not been maintained and should not have been rented out in its condition. We arrived at the property to find a that the refrigerator, TVs, and internet where not working. It took three days for the internet and TVs to bet fixed. The management company brought an extra refrigerator on the second day and put it in the dining room. Then they came back and replaced the refrigerator while we were trying to move out. We picked the condo to social distance in the middle of the pandemic and 6 people were in and out for hours with no masks. The condo smelled slightly like cigarettes smoke. Paint peeling in the master bedroom walls. The dishes had been washed and put away with stuck on food. Hair in the shower and two towel bars fell off when we tried to hang up towels. Just seems like no one was taking care of the unit is cared that the rental was ready for us. The location of the complex was quiet and older. Close to the beach and peaceful.

An Oasis in August

The condo was at least 1/2 of our joy. I loved coming back to the villa and cooling down after beach activities and walking. We enjoyed the egrets, herons, lizards and turtles. Everybody was helpful and friendly. I have been vising Hilton Head since 1958 and it is always fun to visit beaches, historic sites and Harbour Town.

The property is amazing! We loved most things with a few hiccups

We had a family of 6 and some guest stay with us! We had more than enough room for everyone. A couple bad things— many things had broken during our stay, you can tell they only fix with bandaids and don’t take the time to actually fix what’s been broken. Also, the colonnade residents were very rude to us vacationers. They felt entitled to the pool area, had something to say where we parked our cars and bikes and were over all not friendly. Our hot tub was also “broken” during our stay. We had a 10 day stay, and used it everyday till a lady felt like we were invading her space then it was “turned off for maintenance” then rest of our stay. So over all, the condo was good not great and won’t be staying in colonnade again.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The property and location was great. Half from the beach and half for a short bike ride out of shipyard. The condo was in mild condition. It was nice, clean and had beautiful spacious rooms. The living room and outdoor, screened in back porch were wonderful. But as we stayed for our 10 days, things were falling apart that were broken previously. So to fix, you can tell they only put band aids on things that needed some serious repair. The kitchen appliances being an example for things falling apart. There was hardly any kitchen accessories (bowls, blenders, pots and pans, cooking sheets etc.) The surrounding residents were also quite rude to us vacationers and felt entitled to the whole property. The hotub also went down for overheating half way through our trip which was a downside as well. We had family stay in the other part of colonnade during the same week and had an opposite perspective, so I’d recommend that half of the club.

The pool is nice and there is plenty of parking.The unit itself needs a new carpet. Housekeeping didn't do a very good job cleaning. There were stains on our sheets and quilts, dirty bathroom rugs, and food crumbs in drawers and stuck on plates.The kitchen was well supplied with basic necessities and that made it easy to cook occasionally.However, when I called to address a few issues the reply was prompt and very polite. The front desk is fabulous and could not have been more helpful when we needed to get bikes or have a question answered.

Instead of going home I flew to Savannah and took an uber to HHI. I was so happy to come back to Shipyard and to this property. It was clean, spacious and right on the green. The views and location were ideal. We stayed for 4 days and enjoyed family time, the comforts of home, great food and the beautiful beach. We can't wait to come back!
