Beautiful condo

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Beautifully decorated and very nice new appliances. Clean, homey. Our only complaint is the master bedroom bed - it was so so hard and we slept really terribly on it. Our boys slept great on their beds in the other bedroom.

Great place!

We really enjoyed staying here! The pool was just steps from our back door. Parking space right on our front door. Few minutes from Destin Harbour Boardwalk. We really love the location of this apartment. Hopefully we will come back!

Yet another great stay at the Islander Destin Florida!

Destin Beach Condo

Rating Details: The property manager was very unhelpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was more than happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The condo was in very good condition. It did smell like smoke when we entered the condo even though there is a no smoking sign on the patio door. We didn't have any problems and would stay in this unit again.

not my favorite

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: we have been staying at the islander about 11 years. and i was not happy about room 114. we had bugs the whole time. they looked like roaches. we went to the front desk every day to tell them and they said they would call someone to come out. they never came out to spray. someone said the bug was called something else i cant remember the name. but they were every where. on the counter tops all over the kitchen in our bathrooms. as much as we love coming here every year i just was upset having to deal with that. i did love how much sleeping space they had in the room though.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Love the pools and gazebo for grilling out and socializing after dark. Great gathering place to meet new friends and gather with family. Beach guy Allan was absolutely GREAT at setting up chairs and umbrellas for us. I'm not pickleball player but several in our group played everyday on the many courts available. Highly recommend The Islander

It doesnt get much worse

Rating Details: The property manager was somewhat unhelpful. The vacation rental was very dirty. I was more than happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Stayed at the ISLANDER a total of 9 times throughout the years. This time made it to where i will not be coming back. It has progressively gotten worse in the last 6 years and i wasnt able to vacation there in the last 2 years due to covid concerns and small children but this time was terrible. Dirty, dingy, falling apart, bugs, roaches, loud rude people, rude staff, overpriced, i will not be coming back and i used to love this place.

our awesome time in Destin, Florida

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We stayed at the Islander Resort in Destin, Florida for 18 wonderful days in February. We had a great time. Our Condo was fully equipped and the furniture was so comfy. The condo had a great king bed in the master bedroom, an awesome huge bathroom and a huge closet. the pools, hot tubs and the grounds were well taken care of and everything about the Islander was very nice and we are planning on making it our vacation destination every time we go to Florida.

Love the Islander

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Overall, the stay was great, I mean you are on vacation. Having bunk beds in the spare bedroom was unexpected & NOT pictured in the photos of the room. There was ice left in the freezer & caused the fridge to smell like FISH. There was NOT a broom in the condo & we found a dirty plate behind the night stand in the master. The cleaning was NOT worth the $$$ you pay.

Something has to be done about loud music at grill area. for the past 3 yrs,Fri & Sat crowds take over and play music way to loud. couldn't hear ourselves talk Friday night. Please post signs under pavilion. if there is a sign about no loud music, then we have the right to call the front desk.

Another great stay in Destin

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Nice unit , but the couch needs replacing , has seen better days, no support had to put pillows on it to get up higher. Other than that a very nice unit. Enjoyed my first try with very friendly and patient pickle ball group, played almost every morning from 10-12. Got to meet a lot of friendly people from Michigan, Canada,Wisconsin,Minnesota,Iowa,Indiana,and North Dakota.
