This 2 bedroom, 2 bath condo features a spectacular view overlooking the bird sanctuary, the jetty and sunset. You can sit on the balcony with your morning coffee and watch the fishing boats go out and end your day watching the breath-taking sunsets. You are just steps away from the sugar white sands and emerald waters of the gulf coast. Unit 418 has been totally repainted and redecorated, including new living room furniture with a sleeper sofa 48' TV, double glider reclining loveseat and a swivel rocker recliner. Also, newly upholstered dining room chairs and bar stools. New master bedroom bedspread w/32' TV, as well as new decor in the unit. Guest bedroom has 2 twin beds and 20' TV. You are assured a comfortable stay during your dream vacation in paradise.

The perfect beach rental location

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The unit is slightly outdated (for example, master toilet leaks if you don’t jimmy with the lever right after flushing). The building itself is in a much worse shape, but none of that was an issue to us since we spent most of our time on the beach. The short walk to the beach makes it the perfect location. .We met up with a friend there who rented a different unit on the same flat that was better decorated, and the kids spent most of their indoor time there.

Reviewer Comments: This is my third year at the Islander.The unit was misrepresented to me online.Old and outdated wooden doors&trim, broken bath fixtures and plumbing.Old,rusted appliances.Carpeting discusting.Last day noticed black mold on pantry ceiling! Do not stay in this unit. It is hazardous.I stayed with other family members most of the time. Positives; nice T-Fal cooking items, Nice sunset views, and resort amenities. Overall a Great disappointment.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: I rented condo 418 for my brother and sister n law. The co do is in desperate need of a renovation. The carpet is old and needs cleaned, there are spots all over it. The living room furniture is old and you sink in it when you sit down. Paint is peeling on the bathroom walls. I have stayed in other units at the resort and they have been much nicer. We found bugs in the unit. Reported it to the front desk and it took 5 days to get it sprayed.

Positives: great location (central to so many restaurants & activities), clean when we arrived, rest of hotel maintained nicely, loved having 2 chairs & umbrella per room and the property management staff were fairly quick to answer questions via VRBO. Cons: No employees wore masks including those cleaning the rooms (to me that's incredibly irresponsible during a pandemic). Front desk staff barely looked you in the eye or seemed happy to be there.

I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Condo 418 need a major renovation. As soon as I walked through the door, I was not happy with the look. They have old carpet and furniture that seems like its been there for years. The condo smelled terrible. The master bed was old and had no cushion. I woke up everyday with back pain. I would not recommend unit 418.

The overall stay was good. The unit could use some cosmetic updates. They were some candy wrappers on the floor of one of the bedrooms when we arrived. Not a huge deal. But could make someone question cleanliness. The pools,hot tubs and ocean access were great. The kitchen was stocked nicely for cooking needs.

Carpeting throughout was old and stained. Furniture looks like it is from the 80's. We bought febreeze to spray since condo had musty smell. Sprayed everyday but didn't help much. Friends of ours stayed and their condo was awesome. Would not stay in the same condo but would stay at the Islander again.

Could be so much better

Room (418) needs a deep clean..room was not vacuumed when we arrived. Size of room is great but it is in need of a deep cleaning and new furniture. Location to beach is excellent. However they have 2 pools/Jacuzzis and they should designate one for adults only or make one Adults only in the evenings as they were both always packed full of kids.

Good visit

Everything was good, but sheets on beds were not clean, kids room one had pizza the other had hair. The Master bed had kool aid stains
