Description - Updated ground floor 2 bedroom, 2 bath ~1100 Sq ft unit w NEW FLOORS, NEW PAINT, NEW FURNITURE, NEW GRANITE/TILE BATHROOMS, NEWER KITCHEN. Great porch& private pool all a stroll from the beach, parking in front. Unit equipped w FREE HiSpeed wireless Internet service and HDTV service. Kingston Plant. is a large gated secure oceanfront resort that has it all on property yet is away from busy areas but with good access to attractions. Our unit is unique: very central and among nearest to the ocean and facilities but at great value and with better features & amenities. Compares favorably to units higher priced or in lesser locations. Linens and cleaning included with booking. Our guests don't pay resort service fees, parking fees or an internet/WIFI fee!
Much of what you need for the beach is here incl coolers, chairs, floats, rafts, various boogie/skim boards, tons of toys combined with nice umbrella/chair rental service in season.

Resort Features: Dining options (casual, fine dining, pizza/deli, bar n' grill, pub, ocean front cafe, ice cream, coffee shop), putting green, volleyball, bocce, and horseshoes area (priority for hotel guests and owners). Area shuttle, Golf Course next door and more, as well as many pools and activities. Ocean is short walk across the footbridge to gorgeous maintained beach with chair and umbrella service in season, restaurants, bars! Some features such as childrens theme areas & activities, and hotel pool decks may be restricted or require a fee esp during peak times.

Unit Features/Layout - Well stocked kitchen, bar counter and stools, opens to bright living/dining area. Extended screened porch w rocking chairs and bistro set on lake. King bed and private full bath in MBR w larger TV; two Twin beds and full bath in 2BR w TV; pull out Queen w extra padding in LR. Comfortable for 5. TVs each with cable and HD svc and Living Room includes steaming apps. Video game system.

The Kingston Plantation is a fantastic property, and this unit is set in the ideal location. The proximity to the beach and pool is absolutely ideal. 30 second walk to the pool, 5 minute walk across beautiful gardens and a wooden bridge that crosses over a beautiful pond. The room was clean and had everything we needed. Screened in porch was great for an evening cocktail with a ton of privacy. Barrett the owner was very responsive and I appreciated that. When we come back to Myrtle Beach, this property will be our go-to!

Perfect!

The unit is as described. Clean and well appointed, first floor, no stairs. Can accommodate 4 people comfortably. Having beach chairs, towels and boogie boards on site was a plus. I enjoyed having my coffee while sitting in the screened in porch watching the birds and squirrels play. The unit is only a 5min walk to the Embassy Suites and beach. Check in was super easy.

The pictures don't do the unit justice, it was even nicer than expected. Super clean and homey feeling. The area is quiet and peaceful. 5 minute walk to the beach.

Excellent stay

The place and owner were great, no hassles. Place was clean and as advertised. Loved the screened in porch view. Would recommend to anyone, especially families with children. Very quiet.

Enjoyed our Stay

Rented property for a week in June. Unit had been recently updated, was clean and was fully stocked with cookware, dinnerware silverware and utensils. Starter supplies were minimal, as expected. Communication with owner was encouraged and the rental process went smoothly. A prior review of this property stated that there was a musty order in the unit -- I spoke with the owner about this in that I am highly allergic to mold. He assured me that was not the case and I am happy to say that he was correct. The condo was nicely decorated in beach decor but not overdone. You should consider renting this unit -- a fair price, great location, and a perfect place to sit back and relax if you so choose.

Baseball tournament stay

Our 13 year old had a week-long Ripken baseball tournament and this unit was perfect. 15 minutes to the ball park and close enough to all the group activities we had planned. We didn’t want to be in a crazy, downtown high rise, so this was exactly what we were looking for. Could park right out front of the first floor unit for easy loading/unloading and the pool was only steps away. The beach was about a 7 minute walk away. Clean/comfy and was everything we wanted. Will definitely stay here again the next time we’re back.

Kingston Plantation Stay

Unit was clean and has a good location. Only complaint was a little on the dark side, since it is a first floor unit. Lots of lighting helped with this issue. Pool near unit was great!

2nd visit

Our family enjoyed our stay in 2022 and decided to stay again this year. The location is so close to the beach and everything we wanted to go. We plan on staying again next spring break.

Very dirty

Location was good, we are familiar with North Myrtle beach and the Arcadian beach is by far my favourite. The pictures are accurate and the condo had a fully stocked kitchen. Now for the negatives….when we arrived the condo smelled VERY musty. We travel to Myrtle beach often and have never experienced this in any other rental. We could not sit on the deck as it also smelled terrible and was very dingy. The inside of the condo needs a deep clean! The floors were filthy, baseboards and doors were covered in dust and there is water damage on the ceiling and in the bathrooms. I am not sure what the cleaners do but they definitely are not washing floors or dusting. I pulled out the couch for my 6’4 son to sleep on and there were mini Oreo cookies underneath. There were no cleaning supplies in the unit to properly sanitize floors or counter tops. I understand we are renting at the end of the peak season, however the smell and the cleanliness of the unit should be maintained to a reasonable standard.

Great spot close to the pool and the beach

We really enjoyed our week in Myrtle and at Kingston Plantation. The unit is well kept and clean with all of the features of a home away from home. It’s well located about a 5 minute walk from the beach. The pool is seconds away and very clean. Kingston Plantation as a whole is well maintained and is a great setting for running, walking and bike riding.

We LOVED this property!

This property was perfect for us! It was clean and the perfect distance from the beach and the pool! It was easy to pop down to the beach. Barrett was easy to get a hold of and was an amazing host. There were beach towels and beach toys and chairs for us to borrow. This helped as we were there for a dance competition and weren’t sure how long we would have to go to the beach or pool. We would definitely stay here again!

Wonderful Property

We had a great time in Myrtle Beach! This property was exactly as advertised and fit our family of 4 perfectly. The pool is a 30 second walk and not overcrowded. The beach is a five minute walk and perfect! We would definitely book here again.

Nearly Perfect

Glad we chose this property for our stay, it was nearly perfect for us. Going to the beach is a short 5 minute walk, and getting to nearby restaurants and stores is just a short 5-10 minute drive. The kitchen had the dishes we needed for food and drinks, and the living room and dining area are comfortable enough for a 4-person group. Our biggest complaints are over the small stuff: there wasn’t enough soap in the master bathroom soap dispenser (it was nearly empty when we arrived), and the other bathroom wasn’t much better. And there weren’t any additional trash bags for any of the trash bins, which meant that were taking trash out in grocery bags by the third day. I know the rental agreement mentions providing only “starter amounts” for things like toilet paper (which we brought extra of) but we weren’t prepared for running out of trash bags. Even having just a few spare for us to use would have been plenty. It’s a minor thing, of course, but it made for some unexpected friction. If you rent here, make sure to pack some kitchen garbage bags along with your extra toilet paper. Overall, the property was a great pick, and we’d definitely stay there again.

The location was amazing. 5 minutes to the beach. 30 seconds to the pool. Quiet area. Absolutely beautiful. The owner was amazing and answered all my questions. Will absolutely put this on my list of places to stay in Myrtle!

Just OK

I have to say that I was disappointed in the condo. It's advertised as very clean, and it is not. There was .5 inch of dust on the baseboards and the door to the utility room. There was a very large roach in the guest bathroom. It needs a lot of TLC. The linens are old and need updating. I am also curious about the linen policy as guests are either responsible for washing them or you can pay a fee to have them done. The listing states that they are washed in a temperature that is sanitary, however if other guests are the ones to wash them, how do you know that to be true? It made me nervous due to COVID, so I washed them myself upon arrival. There were a few outlets (kitchen and smaller bedroom) that did not work. The entire place needs a scrubbing as there are smudges and stains on the walls, etc. We also noticed a musty smell that we couldn't get rid of using the dehumidifier the owner suggested. Beach chair and toys were old and need replacing. The pics are deceiving as the unit is pretty small, especially the guest bathroom. I suggest updating all of the instruction sheets and binder as they have conflicting info and are confusing. Also suggest cleaning closets, replacing closet doors and cleaning laundry closet. Several light bulbs were out and remote batteries needed replacing, which we did. I found it odd that we had to bring soaps, toilet paper, detergents. Etc given the positive reviews I read. Normally that would be provided when a place receives such great reviews. The listing also stated that "starter" products would be provided, which they were not. The location is great, and we rented a golf cart and enjoyed riding around the property. The owner was responsive when I asked questions. Overall, I was let down and wouldn't come back.

The location and setting is perfect and is a best value for a resort of this quality. Great for kids and families, with lots onsite and easy to get to shopping, dining, shows, golf etc.

Private pool and proximity to the beach are key. Oversize lakefront porch and free WIFI make a difference. We end the day with 'happy hour' at our pool which is steps away after we come back from the beach. Landscaping makes the paths and lakes ideal for walking, strollers etc. Resort services and food are great. Being on our porch for morning coffee or evening drinks w the novelty lights is special. And it's nice to park right outside our front door and be on ground level.
