Additional costs must be paid in cash during your stay.<br>The apartment is located in a quiet inner courtyard. From the garden, you must climb 24 steps to reach the terrace, where, under the porch, there is a private entrance to the apartment. It was completely renovated in July 2021. It features a private entrance from the shared terrace into the living room, which is furnished with a corner sofa that converts to a double bed, a table, and a TV. From the living room, through a hallway, you can access the kitchen, the bathroom, and the bedroom. The kitchen is fully equipped and includes a washing machine and a dishwasher; from the kitchen, you can step out onto the private terrace. The bathroom has a shower; the bedroom features a double bed (160x180 cm), furnished with an armchair, a wardrobe, and curtains to block out the light. Just outside the apartment, accessible from both the living room and the bedroom, you’ll find a spacious shared terrace with a table and chairs—the perfect spot to unwind after a long day of sightseeing.<br>The apartment is fully equipped with everything you need for a pleasant vacation in Rome.<br>The apartment is strategically located for easy access to the Rome Cavalieri Waldorf Astoria, the Villa Stuart clinic, and Villa Miani on Via Trionfale. The Olympic Stadium, which typically hosts internationally renowned sporting events and major concerts, is easily accessible by bus.<br>The bus stop (No. 913), which takes you directly into the heart of Rome, is just a 3-minute walk from the apartment. In about 5 to 8 stops, you can reach Vatican City, St. Peter’s Basilica, and the city center, where you’ll find the capital’s best sights, top shops, and traditional Roman restaurants.<br>You can also take a 15-minute walk from the apartment or ride bus No. 913 for 2 stops to reach the Cipro Metro A station, which will take you in just a few minutes to historic monuments and squares such as the Spanish Steps, Piazza Barberini, Via del Corso, and Termini Station<br>Within walking distance is the Rome-Viterbo train line (Appiano stop), which connects to Rome’s main stations (St. Peter’s, Trastevere, Ostiense) and provides a convenient connection to Fiumicino Airport. Two train stops from home is the Policlinico Gemelli University Hospital, part of the Catholic University of the Sacred Heart.<br>The train also offers the possibility of an alternative trip: visit Viterbo, the city of the Popes. This town in Lazio is little known but boasts a beautiful medieval town center.<br>If you’d like to explore the area on foot, a 15-minute walk will take you to the Trionfale neighborhood, right next to Vatican City and its world-famous museum. You can visit the Mercato Trionfale—one of Rome’s largest and most distinctive local markets—to browse and buy local products, fruits, and vegetables, or go shopping on Via Candia, a street known for its many shops.<br>If you’d like to explore the Balduina neighborhood, discover unique vantage points and breathtaking views of the Eternal City. You can walk or jog in the Monte Mario Nature Reserve, head to the Zodiac and the Observatory to discover Rome from above. Walk to Piazzale Socrate to enjoy a spectacular view of St. Peter’s dome.
