Vista dos Ursos - Excelentes Vistas da Serra Blanca

Located in the beautiful upper canyon area. Has the feel of seclusion but is only a mile to midtown and 5 miles to the road to ski apache. The cabin includes two bedrooms with a king size bed and a bedroom with a queen size bed and a twin bed. The kitchen is fully stocked (except groceries). There are two very private decks - one with a hot tub. Both have an amazing view of Sierra Blanca.
There are many windows for viewing the mountain from inside the cabin.
The benefit of this mountain retreat is being nestled in the pines while shops and restaurants are only a mile away.
There are ceiling fans in the living room and bedrooms and an evaporative cooler. There are electric room heaters in all the bedrooms to provide comfort to individual preference in the winter.

I guess we can start with the host Mark was very helpful and welcoming. The cabin is awesome everything that one needs was at the cabin. the view was breathtaking I would definitely go back again

Love!

This property was perfect for our stay. The photos shared on Vrbo were an understatement of how lovely and comfortable this cabin actually was. The views are gorgeous. We were able to see horses, deer and turkey during our stay! Absolutely loved our time there.

Family getaway

Loved the cabin such a beautiful place with great views. Awesome location close to everything but still gives the feel of being away from town. The host was very nice and the communication was great! Will definitely stay again

Wonderful view and hot tub

Had a fantastic time. Really enjoyed the property. Sits high on a ridge with a wonderful view of Sierra Blanca. Hot tub was clean and enjoyable.

Weekend Family Getaway

This was our second time staying at Bear’s View and we enjoyed it just as much as the first time around. The cabin is cozy and has everything you need to a stay for a quick weekend. The views from the top balcony and the hot tub while the snow was coming down were beautiful. There was no wood provided so bring some and games if your family is into that. Other than that we would definitely stay again.

All you can wish for during your mountain vacation!

The view is simply stunning, including waking up to the sight or the mountains, and it goes way beyond that.. quiet, roomy bedrooms and bathrooms. Showers with ceiling high enough for tall people and don't run out of hot water, comfortable beds. Kitchen has everything needed, I am just too peculiar about everything being clean so cleanliness only gets 4 stars (I had to wipe the counters and wash some pots/pans before using them, but this is still minute compared to everything else, we would still return here any time). The host communicated clearly and effectively, was very friendly and made himself available for any questions or help needed. Highly recommended!

Great until we left

We had a great stay at the home until the maid service claimed they "smelled" a strong weed odor in the master bedroom...the thing is we never smoked nor brought weed into the home. So I am not certain what is going on here, but an extra $300 is being demanded for damages that we did not cause. I'm actually astounded, this occurred during an otherwise uneventful and pleasant stay.

Amazing view and great cabin!

The Bear's View cabin was a perfect getaway spot for our group visiting Ruidoso. The view does not disappoint, no matter the time of day. We were high in the pine trees and looking directly at Sierra Blanca. Deer came to feed near the house each day, and the kids got to hand feed them more than once. We also saw Elk several times on the roads nearby. The cabin's floorplan is very good and offered plenty of space for our group of 7. Everything was tidy and smelled freshly washed. Two king beds was very nice, and the kids enjoyed having their own room. Wifi and cable were very good, and we had all of the kitchen appliances and utensils that we needed while there. The neighborhood is quiet and serene and only a few minutes' drive to downtown Ruidoso. We found something to do in the surrounding area every day for a full week. Mark, the owner, responded quickly to our messages before and during the stay, and offered information about weather before we arrived. We will definitely consider staying her again when we visit Ruidoso in the future!

Beautiful views in Ruidoso

We loved our visit to Ruidoso and especially this wonderful place to stay. Just before we were scheduled to be there, wildfires came through the area. Mark kept in touch giving us other options and fortunately we were able to follow through with original plans. He gave us helpful information about the cabin and area prior to our visit and made the check in and out very easy. The cabin was beautiful, very clean, the kitchen was stocked, the hot tub was wonderful, showers nice and hot, the views so amazing! We even saw wild horses from our balcony and wild turkeys and deer walking down the street in front of the house, and many birds. We were able to spend quality family time with our adult children that turned into a vacation we will never forget. The only thing we regret is that we couldn't stay longer! If you are looking for a great place in Ruidoso, don't hesitate to book this cabin.

20 year Anniversary

Mark is a great host. From the first question I asked about the listing until I left the property. Everything was perfect and exactly as advertised. We woke up to 6 inches of snow one day- so beautiful - and it melted off by noon. We took a great trip to Lincoln and learned everything about Billy the Kid. Great pizza in Capitan. We shopped, gambled a little, ate out most of the time. But mostly we relaxed and reconnected with each other. It was a great 5 days to reset us for the next twenty years. The cabin is a dream. The location superb. We saw lots of deer and wild horses. Don’t miss the hot tub. We will definately will come back again

This property was absolutely amazing. Surpassed all of our expectations. The convenient location and the amazing views were the absolute highlight. The host was always available for my many questions. This was our first visit to Ruidoso but it will not be our last. And we will not hesitate to book Bear's View again.

Peaceful getaway
