Beautiful villa on the edge of the village with full amenities and fully equipped, stunning!

Easy check in, beautifully decorated and fully equipped kitchen within walking distance of various bars/taverns in a very friendly village. Will definitely love to stay again!

Kathikas, Cyprus: an idyllic hill village that was quiet, peaceful and welcoming.

The location, amenities, ambience and character of Kathikas was absolutely spot on. We would return again in a heartbeat. The villa was superbly appointed and maintained. We totally loved being there.

This property was in excellent condition, very well equipped and very clean. A welcome pack of bread and milk (and wine) was a thoughtful touch. Indoor space was compact, cosy and very nicely decorated. The outdoor space was great with plenty of seating for sunbathing and also shady spots. It was too cold during our visit to use the pool but it looked well maintained. The village is rural and quiet with several restaurants and two wineries all within walking distance. The drive to Paphos was about 20-25 minutes. Communication with the manager (Aimee) was exceptional and overall we had a wonderful week.

Terrific property full of charm but offering full facilities. Pool and surrounds excellent. Village location inevitably brings with it associated noise.

Paradise! Exceeded all expectations. Villa was amazing, local food was awesome as were the sights to see nearby. Highly recommend this mountain getaway.

We had a fantastic stay at this very peaceful villa in Kathikas , it was absolutely gorgeous, the outside landscaping is lovely as is the pool . If you want peace and quiet I highly recommend 👍😀 Aimee the local contact was very helpful indeed

Full of character

Combined the traditional stone property with all modern facilities. Very pleasant garden to sit and enjoy the sunshine - together with the pool. Good communications from the agent including directions and making arrangements for cleaning etc.

Gorgeous villa in a quiet village

Villa was exactly as shown in the pictures, very clean on arrival with the essentials in the fridge. Great location in a quiet traditional village with a number of tavernas. Furnishings in the villa and pool area were good quality and was a lovely cosy place to stay. There was a well stocked village shop with the main supermarket not too far away by car. The villa manager was always on hand for any questions and very rapid responses. Great place for a quiet break.

Nice villa away from it all.

We had a lovely time at this villa. All you could want in a home away from home. Quite tricky to find late at night after a long travelling day but that's to be expected. Oters have commented on the villa and surroundings so i will need to add no more. The booking process and communication with the agent was excellent throughout. You'll have no regrets staying at this villa.

A stunning villa in peaceful Kathikas

What an absolutely stunning villa with plenty of space and all of the amenities you could want for. The pool was incredible and maintained even during our 10 day stay. The communication with the letting agent was also fabulous, all queries responded to within 24 hours. Due to our flights being late in the evening for the return journey home the letting agent allowed us to stay in the villa for the remainder of our last day when we should have vacated at 11am. Thank you, we will be back renting other villas from yourselves.

Superb property particularly for accessibility requirements

We were thrilled to find how stylish, spacious and well kitted out Anastasia's house is. The furniture, fixings and fittings are clearly very new and of a high standard. From a wheelchair user's perspective it's wonderful to enjoy a holiday without the stress of negotiating shower steps, stairs etc. The beds are super comfortable. We pre-arranged the use of a sturdy shower seat with the owner too. The property was spotlessly clean with plenty of clean bed linen, bathroom , kitchen and pool towels. We made full use of the pool (mainly in the afternoons after the sun had heated it, we stayed in October) We made full use of the large BBQ. There are a few amazing Tavernas in the village square (and a fun Gin Bar). The village shop sells everything you could ever need. We had a rental car and the great beaches, dush restaurants, bars & well stocked supermarkets are a 15-20 min drive away.

Beautiful traditional accommodation in a lovely village

My wife, mother and I stayed at Anastasia's House at the end of February 2023 and found the property delightful. It was expected that it would be a bit chilly to use the pool (!) and we were right. The sea is marginally warmer in February as the nights were cold. Everything is provided for your stay here, and everything is first rate and spotless. The only problem during our stay was a noisy water pump on the roof which was running continually. I called Aimee, the property manager and an engineer fixed the problem next day. 10/10 for service! One other slight issue (beyond the control of vrbo or the owners) was the sudden outbreak of roadworks in Kathikas. This included digging up all side roads completely to re-route services. During our second week, the drilling and road-sawing started at 7:10am! Now I'm a sound sleeper... but...! Never mind - we had to be up as we had things to do and it saved setting an alarm! I would certainly stay at Anastasia's House again, but would probably choose a Summer break to make the most of the facilities, though it was lovely and cosy with the winter quilts and a nice log fire burning.

The outside of the villa was absolutely beautiful. You could not fault it. The pool is stunning. However the first step in to the pool is set at a considerable height. It was 55cm so getting in and out can be quite a challenge if you are not a tall person. When entering the villa you arrive into the kitchen, sitting room with a well maintained air conditioning unit. Off the kitchen is the en-suite blaster bedroom. The shower had very good pressure. There is a separate toilet to the en-suit which was ideal. I would say the villa was slightly over furnished but that is only our personal opinion. On arrival we were greeted with an abundance of ants. We know it is Cyprus but they were in all the cupboards, under the worktops, on the work surfaces and all over the floor. We did manage to eradicate 90% of them with vinegar, soap and water. This did not spoil the overall opinion of the villa. The floors are beautiful laid to tile which felt lovely underfoot. The villa is set in a beautiful quiet location. We would say you need a car but that isn’t really a necessity as we stayed for 3 weeks with just using the local mini market and the donkeys farm down the road for fresh fruit. The pool and surrounding outside space is like a luxury hotel. The difference was you never had to share it. We had a fabulous holiday and would thoroughly recommend Anastasia’s house. It was the perfect get away to a quiet peaceful experience.

It’s lovely to hear that the villa provided the quiet, private experience you were looking for, and that you made the most of the local area during your three-week stay. We’re sorry to hear about the ants you encountered on arrival. This was not something the Property Manager had been aware of, and we have taken precautionary measures in the meantime. We always encourage guests to report any issues as soon as they arise during their stay so that our local team can investigate and address them as quickly and effectively as possible. We understand that another issue reported during your stay was attended to and resolved within an hour, and that you were very pleased with the service provided. We’re also sorry that you found the first pool step difficult to use. This is not something that has previously been brought to our attention. The pool does have a handrail to assist with access. The Roman-style steps do, however, provide a more gradual entry into the pool than is available at many villas and can be particularly beneficial for guests who prefer or require easier access. Thank you again for your recommendation and for highlighting the many aspects of the villa that you enjoyed. We’re very pleased that, despite these points, you had such a fabulous and relaxing stay
