LOCATION:
Villa Batey 16 is located at the exclusive Casa de Campo Resort in La Romana, the Dominican Republic.
Casa de Campo Resort is a large, gated resort & residential community with 24-hour gated entrance and security.
Since the resort’s opening in 1974 as the first resort in the Dominican Republic, Casa de Campo Resort & Villas has been a favorite luxury destination for discerning travelers and celebrities from all over the world. Known as the best golf resort, the 3 Pete Dye golf courses include Teeth of the Dog, which is ranked as one of the top golf courses in the Caribbean.
This incredible 7,000-acre resort, located in La Romana on the southeast coast of the Dominican Republic, is a tropical playground that features a unique variety of amenities and a private beach club with swimming pools at Minitas Beach. Casa de Campo is also home to many gourmet dining options, fantastic bars, and Altos de Chavón – a one-of-a-kind 16th-century replica Mediterranean village.
La Romana airport is located five minutes from the resort. Punta Cana Airport is located about a 45-minute drive from the resort and Santo Domingo Airport is about 1 hour away.
NOTE: You’ll have two golf touring carts included with the villa rental for transportation around the resort.
THE SPACE:
Villa Batey 16 is a 5-bedroom, single-level villa, which makes it very convenient for multi-generational families.
The villa welcomes you with an impressive, palm-studded entrance, a turtle pool, and a large wooden door leading into your private sanctuary.
Batey 16 has spacious and comfortable living spaces, including a living room area with 3 large sofas, offering seamless indoor-outdoor living. Watch a movie in the cozy TV room, which also doubles as a library/study and small office space.
The formal indoor dining room accommodates 12 guests, while the poolside palapa offers a delightful outdoor dining experience. The villa’s large kitchen has all the necessary equipment for cooking delicious meals – AND your villa rental includes a private chef, so you don’t have to worry about cooking during your vacation (groceries are not included).
The outdoor area is simply amazing! Enjoy your private saltwater pool and surrounding pool deck and garden, which face towards and gives you a view of the Chavon River and the Caribbean Sea.

Bedroom 2: The 2nd primary bedroom with 1 King bed, air-conditioning, ceiling fan, TV, closet/dresser, ensuite bathroom, a private outdoor spa area with a Jacuzzi, and a private terrace.

The casa de Campo resort fee is included in the rental price of the villa for all booking starting June 04, 2025 or later.

NOTE: Separate fees apply for use of resort facilities/amenities, food & beverages at restaurants/bars, sports activities, lessons, etc. Additional fees are not included in the villa rental.
VILLA STAFF:
Chef: Your private Spanish-speaking chef will prepare breakfast, lunch, and dinner to be enjoyed at the villa (groceries are not included). The chef may reside on the property in a separate living area.
Butler: The English/Spanish-speaking butler can serve drinks, and food, and generally helps around the house. The butler may reside on the property in a separate living area.
Housekeeper: The Spanish-speaking housekeeper will clean the villa, make the beds, wash towels and linens (usually every 3rd day). We do not offer personal laundry service. The housekeeper may reside on the property in a separate living area.
Villa Manager: You’ll also have an English/Spanish-speaking villa manager available during your stay. This is your go-to person for any questions or if you need any services that you haven’t booked before your arrival. The villa manager will greet you when you arrive at the villa, check you in, and will be available daily throughout your entire stay.
