Welcome to 1st Street Retreat II Beach House, a newly updated beach house with 3 bedrooms, 2.5 bathrooms , a 2 car garage, a paved fenced in yard which is dog friendly 🐶. 1 block to the beach and within walking distance to all the best restaurants like Famous Taco Shop which is right next door, Beachcomber and Mango Mangos which is 1 block over, Obies, Café Eleven, Sunset Grill, Beachside Diner and Saltlife. And a short walk to the best ice cream on the beach CONE HEADS which also makes doggie sundaes.

This house accommodates 6 people maximum. Inside you will enjoy the beachy decor, WIFI with superfast 800MBPS and Smart TV'S for Streaming only

The 1st floor has 2 guest bedrooms, both with queen size beds and a full size bathroom to share

The 2nd floor which has the master bedroom with king size bed, master bathroom with walk in shower, separate tub and double vanity, kitchen, living room, dining room and deck.

The outside retreat has paved fenced in yard, outdoor shower, table and chairs, bbq and propane firepit.

Monthly reservation are subject to a $250.00 cleaning fee

We do allow small boats under 20 feet, there is an additional charge you must get permission from the owner there is a $150.00 fee.

ELECTRIC CARS CANNOT BE CHARGED ON THE PROPERTY THERE ARE SEVERAL CHARGING STATIONS IN THE AREA.

NO CATS ALLOWED, IF A CAT IS FOUND THE TENANTS WILL BE EVICTED WITH NO REFUND.

We love staying at this house! It is dog friendly and in the perfect location for St. Augustine Beach. The host is very attentive. We had a minor issue and the host went above and beyond to ensure our stay was fantastic! Can’t wait to plan for our next trip here.

We loved our stay. The house was super clean, close to the beach, and within easy walking distance to several eateries. Being pet friendly was a huge bonus! Perfect spot for a relaxing beach getaway.

The house was perfect for pets. Fenced in backyard for our dog to run around in. You can see the water from the balcony. Exactly one block from the beach. It is perfectly located on the strip. We would definitely recommend this house to anyone.

Sibling get together!

Easy walk to beach and four restaurants. Park your car unload and enjoy. Everything was perfect! A1A Burritos was awesome but a very popular spot so plan to wait in line for a bit:)We woul return:)

Great family/dogs getaway

Great Spring Break Getaway with the family and fur babies! The accommodations couldn’t have been better especially the outdoor shower! Location couldn’t have been more perfect! We loved all the friendly dog lovers in St Augustine! Just perfect all around! Definitely recommend 10/10!

Beautiful property

Well-equipped, spacious, immaculate home. Private backyard, perfect for small dog who likes to explore. Two minutes from the vast beach. Lisa is a terrific host.

Great stay half a block from the beach

Great house, cozy and feels like home. Impeccably equipped with dishes, cookware, towels and blankets. Great location about a block from the beach plenty of restaurants within walking distance.great communication with the owner. Would definitely stay again.

A solid 5 stars every time

I have stayed at one of Lisa’s properties probably 6 or 7 times over the last few years! Her properties are always 5 stars! Clean, close to the ocean and all the action. Dependable accommodations, well stocked with toilet paper, soap, shampoo, towels, spices, utensils, cookware, and even coffee (for when I forget). Everything a traveler needs for a wonderful stay! Thank you as always for a great stay!

Best Dog Friendly Home by the beach

We love staying at this home. Has all the amenities and a short walk to the heart of St. Augustine Beach. House is always clean and comfortable. Our pups feel at home there too. Easy walks to the little park or Beach. The owners are attentive and caring! Excited to start planning another family getaway at this house!

Third Visit to Beach Retreat

This was our third visit and it feels just like home. We love the whole area, lots to eat nearby, beautiful beach, the outdoor space at the house is perfect and being able to bring our pups is the best. Thanks for another great stay!

Another relaxing vacation

We came back again this summer and everything was great. The house is very open and spacious so everyone can have their area to relax. It is very convenient to everything - a short walk or short drive. The owner is always there if anything is needed. Our Westie had a great week also, wore him out!

Great house and location!

This was the perfect spot for us, with great food spots nearby and easy access to the beach. House is lovely and has great spaces to hang out with a small group of friends, and beds were very comfortable. We are hoping to return with our dogs soon!

Would Stay Here Again

The house was super clean, and dog friendly. Lisa responds quickly to questions. It's a short walk to the beach. It's a shorter walk A1A Burrito Works. The furthest restaurant, Salt Life, is just under a mile walk, but it's an easy walk. The neighborhood is quiet. There's a driveway for easy parking, a garage, outdoor shower and a back deck area. Everything you need for the day at the beach, other than your swimsuit, is already there. Next time, I'm bringing the dog!

Wonderful Experience

Fabulous location at the beach. The house is roomy, comfortable and updated with great parking and supplies in the garage. Lisa is an excellent host, is always welcoming and available. The yard is excellent for friendly dogs.

Fantastic pet-friendly vacation rental

My family (husband, two teen daughters and I - along with our dog) had an amazing time at this rental property. Not only was the property itself perfect for our family (plenty of room inside and out including a fenced in back yard for our pet) but it was also in the ideal location - short walk to the beach and plenty of restaurants. It was also well-stocked with everything we needed for our stay. I highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a home away from home in St Augustine!

Best dog friendly VRBO!

This host’s VRBO was the best one yet! The host is very responsive and personable. The house is beautiful and well maintained. We had an issue with a toilet and the host responded in person with a fix within the hour. Loved the balcony and dogs loved it too! There are many options for food, the beach, and dog friendly areas within walking distance. Was relaxing! Will stay again!

Top notch host/house

I have stayed with this property owner multiple times at a couple of her listings. This home was just as amazing. Lisa should give all other owners lessons! Everything is perfect. She communicates quickly, her home is immaculate and very well STOCKED with all toiletries, kitchen necessities (like spices, coffee, filters, olive oil, pans) beach chairs, beach towels, everything one would need to stay. And if all that isn’t enough, she allows dogs! I have found that St Augustine is the most dog friendly beach in Florida. I can’t say enough wonderful things about her properties. But book early, cause she has repeat renters -like me!

Great vacation

We had a wonderful time in St. Augustine and this house. The living room is updated compared to these pictures. Awesome location too! Would highly recommend!

Great location; great house

The location is perfect; just a short walk from the beach. It's also walking distance to a number of eating places and short driving distance to all that St. Augustine has to offer. The house feels brand-new and was very clean. The garage made it perfect, allowing our car to stay out of the hot sun and stormy thunderstorms. The house is well stocked, especially with small things like TP, soap, towels, etc. We loved it!

Our goal was to create clean, updated pet friendly vacation rentals for everyone to enjoy.
We started with 1st Street Retreat #934707 which alot of our clients enjoyed and asked about a bigger location to bring friends and family so we created 1st Street Retreat II
