Villa Eterno is a charming, newly refurbished, two bedroom house nestled in the hilltops overlooking Tavira, with a private garden and plunge pool.

In a nutshell, Villa Eterno offers tranquility, comfort and coziness in the midst of beautiful surroundings yet a short drive from town, beaches and attractions.

Nestled in the rolling hills of Eiras Altas, Villa Eterno is a serene sanctuary offering the perfect blend of rustic charm and modern comfort. Overlooking the beautiful landscape of Tavira, this home is an ideal escape for families, couples, or those seeking a peaceful base to explore the Algarve.

The gardens of Villa Eterno offer a covered pergola with seating and dining for enjoying the garden from the shade, For soaking up the warmth there are sun beds and a decked plunge pool area with a 1.8m2 pool for cooling off!

The local area is one of unspoilt natural beauty, with indigenous trees and shrubs, including cork oak, carob, almond, olive, rock rose and medronho bushes scenting the windy roads and local walking paths.

The living room with its double French windows, comfortable settees, and wood burning stove is very inviting. There is a smart tv for streaming channels.


The dining area and open kitchen may be the hub of the house, well equipped and ample. From here there is access to a pretty double bedroom with patio doors and an en-suite bathroom with shower.


The master bedroom occupies all of the first floor, making it a spacious and relaxing area. The en-suite bathroom has a shower. There are two patio doors in the bedroom leading on to a terrace, with marvelous country views.


Villa Eterno has air conditioning in the master bedroom and kitchen/dining room. The double bedroom on the ground floor has standing fans.

Sun loungers deck the garden, a table and chairs under a pergola and there are sun umbrellas.


The plunge pool is 1.8m2 with steps and a wide seating ledge, with a depth of 1 m. It is supplied by freshwater with salt cleaning system. The pool is serviced weekly all through the year by a competent and reliable professional. Pool and garden lighting is available.


Villa Eterno is an ideal holiday home for families.

There is a cot and high chair provided. Please let us know if you have any other requirements.


This accommodation is suitable for the elderly as there is a bedroom on the ground floor without step access.


Villa Eterno is not overlooked, although there are a few neighbouring houses it feels very private and quiet.


Eiras Altas area has a tarmac road, with a 30m country track approach to the property.

You can’t get much quieter….!


The charming village of Santa Catarina is a 10 minute drive from the villa, with its shops and amenities and there is a fantastic local restaurant 2 km away, serving local game, including wild boar.


The renowned blue flag beaches of the Algarve including Barril beach in Sta. Luzia and Ilha de Tavira are a 20 to 30 minute drive.


There are excellent golf courses within 25 to 40 minutes drive from the accommodation. The closest are Benamor, Quinta da Ria and Quinta da Cima, Monte Rei.

Due to the possibility of guests being allergic to animal hair, we do not allow pets.

We are flexible about changeover day and time, though we aim to keep bookings as close as possible.

Departure is by 10am and arrival is from 2pm unless otherwise arranged.

We provide a once weekly linen and bathroom towel change including a clean of the bathrooms.


There will be some toilet paper and soap for arrivals and a hamper of beverages, with additional breakfast and snacks are provided for late arrivals.

Car hire is recommended for this property, especially in the heat of summer…and for reaching all the beautiful and interesting places further afield. Car rental, taxi transfers and bicycle hire can be organized with local reputable firms in advance or by calling the local representative.


Guests will be met at the house, or otherwise informed where to locate the key and visited soon after arrival. We ensure a prompt and competent service from a team of property managers, who can be contacted at anytime.
