Beach house was clean, spacious, and well stocked with everything you would need. Beach was just steps away from house. Host was quick to respond with any questions we had. Very nice place for the price.

It was ok

The person never responded to my vrbo messages. Upon check in I had to call to get the door code. The master shower hot water was reversed and the kitchen sink handle was broke. Sheets clean and towels clean. Walls a little dirty. Over all it was fine.

Andrew, I am sorry you felt that way but all the messages were sent through this site and you were not able to see them. The sink handle was not broken and I explained it was the design.

Pictures of property were nothing like the property.

This house needs so much updating. So many things are in need of repair. My biggest concern was an extension cord to the lights on the underneath outside shower. It’s very dangerous and could cause a person to be electrocuted. I addressed my concerns with the property owners and I’m hoping they will fix the things that need repair.

Great location

Very nice stay. Kitchen could use some updated cookware & utensils ( had to go out and buy a can opener). Excellently appointed for beach fun, wonderful location.

We enjoyed our stay in this house. The location was wonderful and very relaxing. The bottle of wine was a nice touch. There were little things about that house that keeps me from giving it 5 stars. The ceiling lights didn’t give off enough light to see, but there were enough lamps so that was ok. The handle for the master shower was on backwards so you had to turn it to “cold” to get hot water... not a problem, but would have been nice to know. There was only one dishwasher detergent pod, so we had to hand wash our dishes most of time we were there. We had some plumbing issues in the kitchen, but they were able to get it resolved fairly quickly. It was mostly clean, but I did find a few pieces of trash scattered around the place.

Beautiful property and house but a little too far out of the main attractions in Galveston.

House is nice and clean. It’s a little ways out from all the main attractions in Galveston(30 min drive )

Enjoyed close and private access to the pool and the beach club was awesome. Did not like being so far from the beach club. Golf cart rental a must. But have to book weeks in advanced.

Has potential

I am mixed on my review. This is a nice house but needs work. The AC was leaking when we arrived. Someone was out within 3 hours to fix the leak. Ceiling wouldn’t be repaired until after we left, which is fine. Things happen. The light fixtures do not go with this house at all. It’s like beach house meets American Horror Story. There were no hand towels that I could find. Just giant bath towels or tiny washcloths. All bedrooms are on second floor and living area is on top floor. I would prefer the opposite but not a deal breaker. The kitchen needs to be totally reorganized which I’m sure is from people putting things wherever they want. Needs a complete deep clean. Cabinet handles are grimes. Pots and pans and utensils need to be replaced. Old and worn. Beach Club is awesome. Food is delicious. Beach access is close by. We rented a golf cart to travel around the property. Get your groceries before you head down or expect to pay a fortune at the small stores close by. The gas grill on the top floor would not stay lit. The two center burners wouldn’t turn up high enough to keep it from blowing out. All in all not a bad house. Just needs a little loving.

Hello Stacie. I am very surprised with your review. I explained to you that the last guests left the door open and caused the AC to leak because of the condensation but because we care and love our house and guests, we took care of the situation immediately. All of our past guests have left excellent reviews. That shows our love and caring. ** I checked on the grill and it works fine. ** Regarding your lights comment, I am sorry but I do not agree, it is all a perspective thing. All the lights are working fine. ** The floor plan is described on the listing, I do not understand your complaint. ** More towels were in the closet, maybe you did not see them. ** BTW, I have not received the blankets you took by mistake. Comfortable relaxing time at the beach

Very complete property in terms of convenience items, living arrangement, and overall property amenities. We enjoyed out time greatly, and would stay again.

The paradise on one hour away from Htown

Amazing weekend on this beach house. On just one hour from htown I can escape to the beach, relax and enjoy the view. Full accommodation, excellent view, easy access. The clubhouse ? Even better full services. Definitely I will back soon.
