Anniversary weekend

We stayed here for our 1st Anniversary celebrations. The cottage was perfect. Very clean, comfy bed, and the cottage was well equipped with everything you would. And The hot tub was the highlight for us! Also great location, literally a 5 min walk into Stow on the Wold. Would absolutely recommend & will definitely stay again.

Delightful stay

What a lovely Cotswolds cottage. The location is excellent just a minutes walk and you are in the beautiful village of Stow with plenty of shops and places to eat. The cottage is tastefully decorated and the beds were very comfortable. A lovely welcome gift of bread, jams egg milk and butter was an added bonus. The hot tub and garden were lovely. We really enjoyed our stay and would certainly recommend the property.

Weekend stay

Love the place,garden and hot tub ,excellent location with lovely homely feeling to it , loved the wrlcome addition well thought out. Fab village Can't fault anything!!!

Perfect Cottage Escape – Great for Families

We had a wonderful stay at the cottage. The location was ideal – peaceful yet convenient. The hot tub was a big hit, especially with the children, who absolutely loved it! We would definitely return.

House review

Ideal location , perfect with the dog , with dome gras too . Loved the summer house where I sat early morning with a coffee and book . Beds were comfy a cosy house to stay . . Would come again.

Great location dog friendly and with hot tub

Lovely stone cottage with enclosed garden which suited us perfectly with our dog. Clean, comfortable with the added extra of a hot tub. Short walk to shops, pubs and public footpaths. A great find for a trip in the Cotswolds

Lovely Stay

Great place to stay in an excellent location that is close to all the town’s amenities e.g. pubs, cafes, shops etc. Comfy bed and fab shower. Well equipped kitchen, lovely sun room and the hot tub was an excellent addition to the garden.

Brilliant homely stay

Brilliant property, really close to main high street with local pubs and cafes. Feels very homely, amazing jacuzzi and back garden, very dog friendly, completely enclosed garden. No issues with parking by the house. Very comfy bed, would stay there again.

Perfect Stay in the Cotswolds

We had such a lovely stay at 2 Bottom End. The cottage was full of character, clean and well-equipped. The hot tub was definitely a bonus and we made use of it every day. It is perfectly located for Stow on the Wold and so comfortable and cosy. We’ll definitely be back!

Cute Cotswold Staycation

Booking was seamless, and the app was a great addition. It kept us fully informed about the property and provided helpful recommendations for the local area. The cottage is beautiful, well-equipped, and ideally located for exploring everything Stow-on-the-Wold has to offer. Parking directly outside was never an issue, and we were able to come and go easily while exploring the area. The hot tub was a lovely feature. We stayed from Monday to Friday, but unfortunately it only reached a comfortable temperature on the fourth day. As it didn’t significantly affect our stay, I chose not to report it at the time. However, during the unexpected heatwave, my son was happy using it to cool down! There were a couple of minor issues: the side door was difficult to use and could do with some attention, and we were unable to get the Wi-Fi working during our stay. As recommended in the instruction booklet, I left a note on the kitchen table to inform the owners. Overall, we had a very enjoyable stay and would happily recommend both the property and the area.

Great stay at Stow

The cottage is in the perfect position for your stay in Stow . Cottage had everything we needed and we loved the hot tub . Only suggestion would be to provide more coat hangers as only 6 was not enough .

A wonderful stay

The cottage was perfect for a short weekend. It was finished to a high standard and was incredibly clean. The hot tub was a lovely treat after a busy day of exploring and being able to walk into Stow ! We would return. My only niggle was check in wasn't until 5pm which is probably the latest check in time I've ever heard of and check out was 10am. When your staying Friday to Monday those times aren't ideal.

We visited 22 August 2025 family of 4 plus a dog

We had a lovely week here it's a beautiful place and the welcome treats were very nice. Hot tub also great. Cottage is clean and well equipped. Only improvements could be better sofas in the lounge as they wee quite uncomfortable and small for 4 people and the garden could do with a tidy up and the broken fence repairing. 5pm is also quite a late check in.

beautiful cottage location is perfect in Stow

loved our beautiful cottage in the cotswolds , stow is a great town to enjoy the cotswolds from and has many great bars restaurants and pubs and cafes. bottom end is a well appointed beautiful cozy cottage and i would definitely be back. Had everyting we needed and a short walk to coffee and dinner. Loved our time in the most beautiful countryside, best keep stow a secret as the amount of tourists in other towns can be extreme! A lovely break with a few niggles

We had a lovely week at Bottom end. The location is fabulous and the cottage is beautiful. Unfortunately, the hot tub was not hot enough for the first two nights. We also had some minor niggles e.g. the toilet flush wasn’t quite right, the shower head needed fixing (this was done during the week), the toilet door wouldn’t shut and there were a few light bulbs out (no lights in the conservatory at all). For the price we paid this was a real shame however, Donna was very apologetic. As others have said the bed in the 2nd room was very hard and there is not enough comfortable seating for 4 in the living room. If there was just 2 of us we would stay again however, a 3rd person joined us for some of our trip and this was not great when relaxing at night. Parking was never an issue but we were not there in the height of summer.

Good Location

Cottage in a good location with shops, pubs and walks close by. A cute cottage, although there were some small things needing attention and/or maintenance. The hanging rail in one of the bedrooms was broken off/missing and the wall left needing repair, the outer gate entrance needs some attention as does the dish washer. The small conservatory needs blinds and more comfortable furniture.

A great place for a family vacation with a few additions required

We felt right at home! The beds were very comfortable, bathroom was great with good water pressure, and the hot tub was a great amenity to have! My only comments would be that the owner should have some basic cooking spices and necessities; cooking oil for example, spices. We were provided 2 garbage bags and 2 toilet rolls for 5 nights. As a guest, when you’re paying a good amount for a house to feel at home, having these little necessities will make all the difference. There were quite a few cobwebs in the house, but once we brought it to their attention it was promptly cleaned. Other than that the location was brilliant, there’s a pub right outside, and the town and restaurants in short walking distances.

A beautiful cottage in the middle of Stow on the Wold

We recently stayed at no.2 Bottom End Cottage. The cottage is cosy and welcoming. It has a wood burning fire which was ideal for the winter evenings. It was well equipped and had everything you could possibly need. On arrival the cottage was clean and there was a welcome pack with milk, eggs, chocolates and wine. The location is perfect for walks in the countryside and great for dog walkers. The cottage is right in the centre of Stow and there are many shops, tearooms, restaurants and pubs to visit. All are a short walk away and welcome dogs. We will definitely be back! Thank you.

Lovely location

Stow on the Wold is beautiful! Cottage is located in a perfect position, a few minutes walk to all shops, cafes and local eateries. The cottage was well stocked and a lovely welcome basket on arrival. The hot tub was also a nice addition. On arrival we did have a few issues with broken furniture. Great customer service though, as a handyman came out the first night. Although the issue could not be fixed for the duration of our stay, a temporary fix was applied, which was fine. One suggestion I would make is to fit some blinds, as the conservatory gets extremely hot even with the sky light and windows open, as we had to leave the door open if we were in there.
