We had a very happy stay at Villa Delfini. The sunset views are unbeatable, and the villa felt very spacious, even with 10 of us staying there. The beds are comfortable, the linen is good quality and plenty of towels are provided. There are fans and air con in all the bedrooms, and the kitchens are well equipped for cooking. The kids loved playing table tennis. The infinity pool is stunning, although there isn’t much of a shallow end, so it’s not ideal for young children. The villa is well situated, close to Kini Beach, with a well-stocked supermarket a few miles away. The position of the villa on the edge of the cliff is stunning, but it is also very exposed so we sometimes found it too windy to sit by the pool or on the terraces. It was also too windy to make use of the private cove and kayaks. The Meltemi winds were blowing particularly strongly during our stay in August, so this might not be a problem at other times of the year.We would have liked a parasol to provide some shade when sunbathing, as well as some more comfortable outdoor furniture on the upstairs terrace. The property could also benefit from a proper washing line rather than just a drying rack for wet towels. The agents managing the property were great. They were quick to reply via WhatsApp and even found a doctor for us at short notice. The villa was spotlessly clean and the local housekeeper was so welcoming when we arrived. We had a great time in Syros and would definitely come back!
