Access to hiking trails directly from the yard. Short easy walk through the forest to Deep Cove Village where you can dine, shop and explore. Park and kids playground, kayak & SUP & boat rentals. Everything within walking distance.

This is truly a modern beach house designed by interior design & architect owners complete with nature at your doorstep.

Lower Level Suite 900ft2 (Spectacular Main house is also listed - sleeps 8, 3 bed, 1 Den (bed) 3 bath, incredible living space & spectacular views of the cove and the forest)

Parking for 1 vehicle on property and street parking close by

Private Lane that ends at the water with public trail and paths waterfront access and semi private beach (low tide).

Owner is a North Shore local who worked in tourism prior to design and is delighted to advise or assist in coordinating incredible once in a lifetime vacation experiences.

Great get away

Great location for a relaxing vacation. Short walk through the woods to town for excellent dining. Perfect location for kayaking, and hiking and yet not too far from Vancouver.

Great property for sure; lovely outdoor patio space, cozy indoor space, all the comforts of home and then some! Close to water, close to the core of Deep Cove, within comfortable walking distance. Recommended!

Beautiful location

We enjoyed our time in Deep Cove. The location was perfect- only 20 minutes from downtown Vancouver and steps away from kayaking in the cove. It was a very lovely and clean apartment.

Incredible Location!

This Deep Cove location was absolutely amazing for our family vacation. We were able to walk our paddle board down to the Gorgeous, mountain-encircled cove and paddle out every day. Got to enjoy some local harbor seals, jellyfish, and other local wildlife! Convenient trails are 5 minute walk to the nearby village center with restaurants, coffee shops, playground, and more. Also short drive to Capilano Suspension Bridge Park (highly recommend) and downtown Vancouver/Stanley Park. Karen was a great host - stopped by with some band-aids after my youngest took a spill - and provided lots of recommendations and insight on the area. Suite was perfectly for family of four - modern, clean, all necessities provided, and a beautiful patio with view of the harbor. Can’t recommend more highly to couples and families!

Perfect location, beautiful scenery.

Our family of four absolutely loved our time in Deep Cove. Karen’s place is comfy and clean and the location can not be beat. You have privacy on your patio and are surrounded by nature. You have a view of the cove and a creek in the back yard. The trails to the town are super convenient and incredibly scenic. No need to use your car once you arrive. Deep Cove itself is awesome. We had perfect weather the whole time. Our hike to quarry rock was amazing - kid friendly with a few challenging parts but the view on top is breathtaking. The town feels like an isolated town into British Columbia but you are only 20 minutes from downtown Vancouver. Must get the glazed donut from honey doughnuts! Best donut ever - not even close. I also recommend a day trip to Lynn Canyon. Very scenic, lots of trails and water and a suspension bridge and it is free!! Can not recommend karen’s Place enough.

Lovely

Stayed at painted paddle with our 5 and 6 year old daughters for 2 nights. It was perfect for our family. Clean and decorated cutely. Deep cove area is adorable. The short hiking path that leads to a picturesque beach with kayak rentals and a street lined with shops and restaurants is ideal. There was also a new playground right off the main street which our girls enjoyed. Stanley park and downtown areas were a short drive away (20-30 minutes with traffic). We would definitely come back to this property.

Amazing

It was an amazing place with creek flowing in front and very quiet with water sound only . Hiking trails and nature views . Simply the best . Owners have provided very comfortable envoirment and are easy to reach if any thing needed We enjoyed the place would love to return if we come again to Vancouver Highly recomend this place Thanks Karen and scott

Beautiful location.

What a quaint little area. The house is very cute and comfortable. A little creek runs off behind the patio. The property surrounding Karen’s home is just gorgeous! A private walkway from the back patio leads you to paddle boarding, shops & the most delicious morning donuts @ Honey Doughnuts. It’s a GREAT location; nice and secluded and not too far if you’re looking to drive into the city. We had a great time!

Great stay!

Stayed here in between stops in Seattle and downtown Vancouver. Great place to rest and recharge! Also had plenty of trails and pathways through the woods stretch your legs. Actually walked the trail behind the house to get to breakfast and dinner...nice change up from the hustle of big city. House was clean and had everything you could need. Follow the stream running behind to postcard views of the cove. So impressed with the owner...quick response to questions and had great recommendations for us. Hope we make it back!!!!

Quiet family friendly oasis

We had a very nice stay, enjoyed walking to the local shops via the trail out back. Cute little spot down below the main house with pretty views. It was very peaceful and a relaxing change of pace.

Amazing Stay!

We absolutely LOVED everything about this place! The house was very nice and had everything we needed, the area was beautiful, and the ambience was SO relaxing. There is a lovely patio to sit outside and listen to the creek while enjoying the scenery. There are shops and a park very close by where you can grab groceries or stop at one of the restaurants for lunch/dinner. Plenty of places for dessert too. This truly felt like home away from home. We hope to be back again!

Wonderful location

Beautiful house within walking distance to a lovely little dock and a little cluster of restaurants and shops. We sat out on the patio and listened to a nearby stream. Very peaceful. We had a wonderful stay.

Stunning and Perfect

Such a beautiful home! Everything is so beautiful and well appointed. Anything a chef may require is provided in a gorgeous chefs kitchen, even things I didn't know I needed in my own kitchen! We stayed here for 3 weeks; while we were renovating our home nearby with a 2 week old baby and the neighbourhood and home were so inviting we didn't want to leave! Cozy bedrooms, spa bathrooms and a view and tranquility that doesn't end; will exceed any of your expectations!!! Trust us - we would move back in a heart beat!!!
