Beautiful home, great host, kitchen well stocked. Huge plus was the beach chairs and boogie boards. Will definitely try to make it there again. Great patio for bbq and super close to the beach. This was a great stay!

The house was a great location and perfect size for our family of 4. The communication with the owner was prompt and cordial. It’s an older home but taken care of. It had boards, chairs, umbrellas, towels. And the kitchen was well stocked with cooking supplies. Thank you for a pleasant stay! We would stay here again.

We had another fantastic time at this lovely beach cottage. This is our 2nd time staying at this beach cottage due to its many perks. Great accommodations with all the luxuries. Easy access to the beach for my elderly mom with a walker. Short walk to great restaurants, coffee house and market. Looking forward to our next stay at this very comfortable beach cottage.

We had a wonderful time staying at this rental in Newport. Greg, the owner was very helpful and quick to reply to any questions we had. Plenty of room for our family and a huge front porch. The property was clean, stocked with essentials, and close to the beach and several delicious food options close by. Would stay here again in a heartbeat!

Perfect Getaway

Our stay was just what we needed. Everything from check in to check out was seamless. Greg was a great host and there were plenty of extra items in case we forgot. Minutes away from the shore, ideal for families.

We had a fantastic stay at this Newport Beach house! The location couldn’t have been better—just a short walk to the beach, which made it so easy to enjoy the ocean anytime we wanted. The host provided boogie boards and beach chairs which came in really handy as well. The house itself was clean, comfortable, and stocked with all the amenities we needed for a relaxing and stress-free getaway. The hosts were truly amazing—so kind, helpful, and responsive throughout our stay. You can tell they really care about their guests' experience. We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Newport!

More than expected

For our first VRBO rental it was more than we had expected. Great location for the bike trail and beach access (only a couple of short blocks). There was enough space for us, it was very quiet, and Greg and his wife were very nice.

Wonderful place!

Charming unit with great location. Worked very well for us and two other family members. We love to cook and kitchen equipment is good. Extremely nice linens. Only thing I would have wished for was a better broom or a vacuum for easiersand clean up

Nice vacation

The unit was spacious and well appointed. The neighborhood was quiet and a park to walk your dog is close by for those bringing pets. The only drawback of our vacation had nothing to do with the rental. The beach itself was disappointing due to the 4 foot high sand berm at the shore line--tough with young children and older folks who are unable to climb up and down.

From Texas - We loved it!

We brought our family here in July for a PGF tournament in Irvine. Hands down this a great location and perfect place to stay. Plenty amenities and in working condition with no issue. Spacious and comfortable sleeping space coupled with a working air condition (you know for us Texas folks) 😂 - rest is plentiful! Literally steps away from a beautiful beach and a great community of folks really gets you into vacation mode the moment you arrive. There’s a shopping center within walking distance (one block away) and is super convenient for great selection of breakfast, lunch, and dinner - including a small store for your common toiletries, snacks, and beverages. The owners are super responsive and really focused on making your stay/ experience nothing less than exceptional. I’d highly recommend this location for your vacation. Our family can’t wait to go back-we surly will!

Beach Essentials

This location was perfect for what we needed it for. Pros: We checked in at 1am after a long drive & was able to get into the property easily. Greg (the living upstairs owner) addressed our issues with the fire pit immediately & we were able to enjoy it. Cons: There were some dust bunnies around so I'm not sure if it hadn't been used for a little bit or was a quick clean prior. I would paint a few walls but it was a good place for our getaway. Thank you Greg for a fun place.

Pleasantly surprised

The location is great. We walked to the beach every morning and put our chairs to save a spot and walked back to the house to get ready. We walked back and forth several times. Super close. The house is great! We have stayed at many places and this host goes above and beyond. Beds are more comfortable than my one at home. TVs in every room. Boogie boards and toys available. Bikes available. Super cute decorations. Fridge with ice maker. Washer and dryer that are high quality. Air conditioning, but we didn’t need it. Shutters on all windows rather than blinds. Quiet location. I will definitely stay here again!

Great location!

We enjoyed our stay at this beach house. The owner Greg lives upstairs and was very helpful. Pros: Location - just a block from the beach, and a few short blocks from restaurants. Perfect location! It was nice to have 1 parking spot, and we were able to fit 2 cars on the driveway if we squeezed (small cars). Street parking is hard to find. Very convenient that beach chairs, towels, boogie boards, umbrellas were provided. Kitchen was well stocked, and appliances were nice. The patio was great. We could all sit outside and relax together. Cons: We had issues with the Wi-Fi. Owner said it was out of his control, and unfortunately we couldn’t do the work video calls we needed to on their Wi-Fi. It kept dropping the connection. Also, the pull-out couch was very uncomfortable.

Wish we could go back!

We had a great stay here! It felt like "home" within a couple hours of arrival. The owner Greg met us when we arrived to answer any questions and show us around which was great. He and his wife were super nice, and although they live upstairs, we never really saw them again. One of our favorite things about the house was definitely having a parking spot - it made running around so much easier knowing you wouldn't have to search for parking when you got back! Another reason we chose the house was that it had A/C, but we never needed it the last week of June. It only took a couple minutes to walk to the beach, which was clean and wasn't really crowded right there. Kids (10 & 12) loved the boogie boards and playing in the waves. It was great having the chairs, umbrellas, boogie boards & bikes available, although we wished there were 4 bikes. Close walk to a great coffee shop, donuts, tacos and some quick bites. About a 20 minute walk to the "downtown" by the shops and restaurants. We're already planning to go back to Newport Beach. Would definitely recommend staying here!

Perfect Location with all the amenities

Our family has stayed in 10 different rental units over the past 16 years and we have finally found a place that we intend to call home for one week each summer! Location is important for our family and while there really isn't a bad location anywhere in Newport Beach we have found this to be the sweet spot for access to everything we need without being overly congested like it gets closer to the pier. We have used larger management companies in the past which had their perks, but the personal attention that the owner, Greg, gives is perfect. He is just as involved as needed ...there when you need him ...prompt to respond ...and incredibly hospitable. Like many other rentals, Greg includes a few extras like bikes, boogie boards, a surf board, some chairs/umbrella, etc.... We always bring our own because past experience proves most of these to be aged and not really usable. While we did bring our own this year we certainly didn't need to. All of what Greg had available would've been very usable. So much positive to say about this years vacation, but I'll conclude with my favorite feature of all. There is an A/C split unit. While Newport Beach has great weather it can get warm when temps rise, and you'll be hard pressed to find a unit anywhere near the beach with A/C. Of the 10 units we have stayed in this is the first we've found with A/C. We will certainly be booking for next year! Thanks Greg for the amazing experience!

Excellent vacation property and location!

Perfect spot for a family vacation at Newport Beach. Steps from sand. Great patio, comfortable and clean home exactly as advertised. Close to restaurants, harbor and strand walk. Hosts are awesome people. Highly recommend!

Well stocked and clean!

Great place, everything you need is there boards,bikes dishes pots pans and laundry inside This is the best stocked house I’ve stayed in . Met Greg and his wife they are very nice people Would stay here again for sure!

Great location, extremely quiet, super clean and comfortable

Would definitely stay again when visiting Newport Beach. Proximity to beach is fantastic (3-5 minute walk); host is friendly, thoughtful and responsive; accommodations are very clean and comfortable; kitchen is well equipped and beach chairs, umbrellas, boogie boards, and even two cruiser beach bicycles are provided! Most amazing is how quiet the rental unit is (with no traffic or neighbor noise). We enjoyed our stay, the time spent on local beaches and appreciated the dog friendly policy. We look forward to another stay!
