Please kindly send us an email prior to booking to confirm availability for your dates. We require at least a 7 night minimum in the Summer months (June-August).

Our little Spanish Cottage is clean, bright and close to everything that makes Newport Beach spectacular. Steps to the sand and walkable to all of the best restaurants, bars, shopping and local attractions. After a fun day in the sun, enjoy our charming little Spanish Cottage all to yourself. This is a comfortable home with all the modern upgrades including, hi-speed internet, central AC/Heat, cable TV, Sony flat screen in the master bedroom (just bring your Netflix/hulu login), and a spacious kitchen. The Master bedroom has a queen bed suitable for a couple, or comfortable for one person. The second bedroom setup has 2 twin beds. The front patio is perfect for outside dining or lounging. You will also enjoy having a designated parking spot onsite for convenience to come and go as you please. Reserved parking in the Summer months is a real plus! We also provide beach towels, beach chairs, and access to onsite full size washer and dryer.

This cottage is perfect for a couple's getaway, family vacation, and/or ideal for long term or short term business stays.

The property was clean, cozy and well stocked with supplies to ensure a pleasant and fun getaway. This is the second time my husband and I have stayed here. It is our new favorite place.

Cozy cottage

We had wonderful week in the cutest cozy cottage. It was so thoughtfully decorated and organized for the perfect beach stay. It was walking distance to the beach, restaurants and shopping. Loved our stay and hope to return soon.

Perfect First Vacation

This was our first vacation with our 4 year old and it was perfect! Close to the grocery store, the beach, has a parking spot, truly just a great place. We would come back!

Interaction with the host was smooth. Finding the property and check-in was smooth. The property itself was just okay. The home had a constant musty smell which was off putting. The property was clean with the exception of the vent in the lounge and bathroom which had visible dust build up. The kitchen amenities were adequate for what we needed. The lounge furnishings inside the house are sparse which made it feel a bit cold versus charming. Whilst parking was available behind the property, we parked on the street due to the alley being blocked by other vehicles on two occasions. Overall the stay was just okay for us.

The location was excellent. It was a great base for exploring Newport Beach.

Communication w the owners was easy and straight forward. The house was even nicer than portrayed by the photos. Check in was simple. The beds and linens were comfortable. I would stay here again.

Fantastic location and super accommodations

Wife and kids all agreed that this place is awesome! The kids were able to have lots of beach time and the teenager even discovered the virtues of using a wet suit! Thanks again to the owners for being so helpful. Definitely recommend!

All the beach stay basics needed with quick access to restaurants and Newport Bay

Good place to base operations out of near the beach. Had a place to park our car which can be difficult due to beach and business proximity. The owners were very accommodating and quick to respond to our needs. Over all good stay

Beautiful property

The cottage was just as pictured. It is spotlessly clean and very comfortable. It’s only 2 blocks to the beach and has a lovely front patio and a large private, back patio area. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend! Owners were also very friendly and easy to work with.

Great family choice!

Loved the cottage. Walking distance to beach, groceries, and great food. Used the onsite washer and dryer and provided beach amenities. Will be back for sure! Loved it.

It was perfect!

It was perfect for our family vacation! We loved the garage for our car. The kitchen is nice and big for preparing meals. The courtyard in the front is perfect for eating outside. It was so nice having a washer and dryer. And it was only a short walk to the grocery store, restaurants and the beach! It was clean and in great condition. The owners were easy to get in contact with and were very helpful. I highly recommend!!

West Coast Stay

The house was great and met all of our needs. My kids (age 3 and 6) had a great time and loved exploring. Having parking onsite was a life saver and AC also. We were walking distance to everywhere we wanted to go. Removing a star for check in process since we didn't receive the code to get in for 20 minutes after the listed check in time and had to follow up for it. Other than that, all communication was great and they provided a ton of recommendations which was helpful since this was our first time in Newport Beach.

Great location to experience Newport Beach

This cottage is close to the beach and restaurants, so you can park your car and not use it again til it's time to check out. This 2 bedroom cottage is roomy, has a well stocked renovated kitchen, comfy beds, and a renovated bathroom. There are beach chairs and beach towels to borrow. Even though the September mornings are cool, the air conditioning came in handy to cool down the cottage at night. There is a garage to use for smaller cars, but we found on street parking and didn't have to navigate the tight turn to use it. You can lock up your bikes in the back patio area. If you don't bring your own bikes, we recommend Balboa Fun Tours which is an easy walk from the cottage. Can also rent kayaks and paddle boards there.

Perfect Beach Getaway

This was our second time renting this property, it's very clean, there is onsite parking in the alley, it's only a block and a half to the boardwalk and beach, the grocery store is less than a block away and Lido is walkable. The home has has everything you need and the kitchen is updated. It's good for our young family (kids 6 & 4) but I could see a challenge with multiple adults and the single bathroom. I wish we could use the grill and fire pit as that would add to the experience but nothing is lost by not having it. We do wish there was at least an extra love seat in the living room but again right now our kids are young so squeezing us all onto the small sofa was fine. We've been back two years in a row now and will rent again and recommend to anyone looking to stay in Newport Beach.

Dodges trip to Newport

We had a great time in Newport, I have gone 15 years and i must say this location was the best, you can walk to everything. I was walking to Pavilions every morning for groceries which is only 2 blocks away. We will for sure come back.

Perfect Beach Cottage!

We had a fantastic time at the Spanish cottage by the beach. Brian and Jill are wonderful hosts; communication was excellent and we felt very well prepared for our stay. The cottage is adorable - impeccably decorated and very clean. Our small family of three had more than enough space, and we enjoyed being a short two block walk to the beach. Plenty of towels, beach towels, etc., as well as a wagon to haul your stuff to the beach. There are lots of restaurants and shops within easy walking distance, and even more within biking distance (since bikes are THE way to get around Newport Beach!). Having a dedicated parking space was awesome, particularly since parking on the Balboa Peninsula during peak times can be challenging. We parked our car when we arrived and didn't drive again until we left - we walked to a bike rental store and rode those for our entire stay. We loved riding along the Boardwalk, and enjoyed taking our bikes to the ferry and heading over to Balboa Island for a day. Our only regret is that we had to return to real life (and our real jobs) far too soon. We would absolutely stay here again, and I am already figuring out when we can return to Newport Beach. Great stay

The property is very nice and it is in a perfect location for walking to the beach, shops, and restaurants. It also came with beach chairs, boogie boards, and (most importantly) a beach wagon to carry all of it.

Great House Great Location!

We loved having a long weekend staycation. This is such a great location, walking distance to everything you need (including a 2min walk to the beach). The hosts were responsive and easy. It looks like a brand new home inside. We'll be back!

Fantastic cottage by the beach!

Our family of four really enjoyed Brian and Jill's beach house. The location was great. Two blocks to the beach and a block to tons of shops and restaurants. We appreciated how clean and nicely decorated the place was. We used the beach cart with beach chairs and boogie boards and were so happy we didn't have to rent them since we flew in from Phoenix. We would totally stay here again. Thank you!

Great location!

The property was amazing. Perfect location and having a spot to park the car was huge. Owners are very responsive and check in and out was simple. The property also had beach equipment which was very nice to use. We loved the fact that it was its own dwelling and not a shared lot. We will be back for sure.

Perfect little cottage

Pros- Cute, fresh, remodeled, and clean! Location is fantastic! So close to the grocery store and restaurants and of course the beach! DEDICATED PARKING SPOT is at the top of our list when looking for a beach house in Newport, and the one they have behind the house is perfectly positioned for easy in and out even for a full sized truck! Great little patio area out front to relax and fenced patio area in back where you can leave all you beach stuff to dry out CONS- None if you can find a con with this place then youre someone who can never be satisfied.

Ideal location!

Our family of 4 stayed in this beach cottage for one week and want to emphasize how perfect the location is. A two minute walk to the beach, to the grocery store, and also several restaurants. Only a 5-10 minute walk to the Newport Pier. We only moved our car once while there and walked or rode bikes everywhere else. The cottage is very clean and Jill and Brian were quick to respond to any questions. We wish the kitchen was a bit more stocked as we are a family that cooks more meals in rather than eating at restaurants (mostly due to food allergies). The use of the washer and dryer was very convenient and appreciate they had beach towels and equipment to use. We would definitely stay at this cottage again!

We love Newport Beach for the fun and relaxed vibe here. The locals are friendly and active. Our neighborhood is located in an ideal spot for enjoying the beach year round. One of the main reasons we picked this property was because of its proximity to our favorite surf spots and restaurants. It is so easy to park your car for the weekend and walk to the grocery store, bank, local theater, parks, and recreational activities. Come get to know the area and unwind in your own space by the beach!
