From the lanai you step onto an acre of lawn, just steps from the swimming pool and Hideaways Beach. From the lawn you have more than 160 degree view of the Pacific - from Bali Hai to Queen's Bath - a view not available from units on the 2nd, 3rd and 4th floors. Safe, secure, and private our home provides you with the ultimate setting for relaxation and adventure. Whales breech, dolphins jump, and surfers ride the waves all in front of your eyes.

If you like to relax in the sun or fill your day with sporting activities, this is the place to come. We are located near the 27 hole Makai golf course designed by Robert Trent Jones.

If tennis is your game, enjoy the condo's private tennis courts or participate in the Princeville resort tennis club where you can find all levels of competition. Go reef snorkeling, surfing, and sun bathing just below on secluded 'Hideaways Beach' (please be advised there are no life guards on duty).

Located on Kauaiā€™s incredible north shore overlooking the Blue Pacific Ocean. It is just steps from the Luxurious 1 Hotel Hanalei in the Princeville Resort. You're steps away from the spectacular pool - private for Pu'u Po'a residents - who share access (our experience is there is very little use by others, so we've always felt it was our private pool). Enjoy the tennis and pickleball court.
This condo is on the ground floor, the parking lot is mid level. There are stairs that go down to the ground level to access condo.

The condo is walking distance to the 1 Hotel Hanalei Bay, shopā€™s, restaurants, and beach access.
Accommodation includes, wireless internet, washer/dryer, dishwasher, blender, 12 cup coffee maker, fully equipped kitchen, beach chairs, beach towels, cooler, beach umbrella, and a pickleball set, a great place to stay!

Perfect quiet get away

Beautiful view. Spacious accommodations. Quiet area. Well stocked kitchen (no seasonings or any supplemental food items, though. And no left-over storage like Tupperware). Comfortable beds. We really loved it. Reminderā€¦ it is a flight and a half down to the Vrboā€¦and no elevators.

We LOVED the expansive and comfortable living space and could not get enough of that VIEW! Kitchen supplies need to be augmented (i.e. number of plates and forks & knives) -- there were only 4 large plates. Should be a simple fix.It would also be great if the twin beds could be made up into a king for two couples traveling together. Back to the view, the telescope turned out to be a phenomenal benefit for us since there was a lunar eclipse during our stay.Overall, we had a great stay.

Only unfortunate part was that we experienced a heavy tropical storm and the patio water leaked into the home. With the severity of the storm, I would have expected the management company to be proactive and contact us to tell us what to do. On our own, we brought in all of the patio furniture and bbq grill, which could have easily broken the windows. We called them and they did call us back. Lastly, when you pay a hefty cleaning fee, you wouldn't expect to be required to take out the garbage.

Only negative feedback for the owner to improve is the Kitchen situation. Insufficient number of dishes, glasses, cooking items, and we are only a family of 4. BBQ outside is unusable, a cheap electric thing that can't cook chicken. Tried it once and gave up, unfortunate since I like to grill. This MUST be improved for an over $400/night rental. Families rent condos so they don't have to eat out in overpriced resort town restaurants each night. Also appliances very low end - electric stove very tricky to cook on, the controls didn't do much , it's on high heat or off, nothing inbetween.

Reviewer Comments: The sunsets were amazing everynight and it was so nice to be able to walk to Hideaway Beach. Be prepared for the trek to the beach, its an adventure. The condo does have several beach towels and a beach chair. Unfortunately, this condo needs some TLC. There were no cleaning supplies, not even a broom and dust pan. We had to buy our own hand soap. The kitchen only had 7 forks and 2 kitchen towels. We had several things break during our stay that had to be fixed. I would recommend a condo starting on the second floor because people were consistently walking by our window and looking in. The location was nice. Its at least a 40 minute drive to Lihue and 15 minutes to Hanalei.

Great property but a warning is needed...

The condo was great...well maintained, clean, awesome view and the location was excellent if you want to stay on the north side. We had a serious issue, however. During our stay, construction was ongoing in other units at this complex. Even though we notified workers who were working on the unit directly above that we were sitting outside on the grass patio area, they failed to secure building materials. A 10 ft. long aluminum wall/roof cap that had been removed blew off the upper deck and landed where we had been sitting only minutes earlier. It actually fell in the exact spot where my wife had been sitting and it would have hit her in the head had she not luckily just gone inside. When we complained to the construction workers they became belligerent, threatened us and told us that we did not belong on the island. We almost had to call the police. The property host was apologetic and notified the condo president. He, however, was more concerned with upsetting the staff. He stunningly told us that we should have known better than to sit outside with construction going on. He defended the irresponsible workers and said that the wall cap was aluminum so it wasn't that heavy and would not have caused serious injury. Incredulous! A 10 ft. piece of aluminum dropping 10 ft. on someone's head? The next day security measures were taken by partially cordoned off our patio area with cones, etc. so we could not sit directly outside of the unit. Needless to say, this experience soured our stay. The property host is not to blame for the careless and obnoxious workers, or for the pompous condo president, but full disclosure of the situation should have been given. We would not have booked this property if we knew about the construction directly above the unit. Apart from the construction, we would definitely book this property again. The AC's worked well, the unit was spacious and comfortable, and the telescope was a nice amenity. We actually saw a whale in the ocean below. My one suggestion for the unit and warning to other guests... the privacy screen outside the master bedroom is not fully effective and should be upgraded. You can actually see through the screen, especially when lights are on. If you want full privacy in the master bedroom, you need to keep all of your lights off or make sure everyone else in the condo is sleeping.

The perfect condo to explore the north shore

We cooked in a couple nights and the condo had everything we needed. Beautiful sunsets out the window and our children loved being able to play on the lawn or walk right over on the lawn to the pool. Beware - this condo is not for young children - there is a steep cliff drop off right out the door. We felt perfectly safe with our 6 and 8 yo who are good listeners and understand risk. But something to be mindful of if you have toddlers.The beds were extremely comfy, AC worked great, house is full of fans to keep air circulating, there were beach chairs and beach towels for our use and washer and dryer worked well.We are thrilled with our stay, hope to be back soon!!

Stunning Sunsets from the Living Room!

Stayed with my wife and 2 teenagers. The location is perfectly placed with unbelievable sunsets out the front living room and close walking distance to Hideaway Beach below. The unit had a new washer/dryer. The property manager Lori was super helpful and accommodating. The bed sheets were really comfortable. Plenty of extra towels and blankets available. The AC works great making the whole indoors refreshing after a day in the sun. Highly recommended!

Loved the location!!!

This place is truly amazing - you are right on top of a cliff overlooking the ocean. There is a steep trail on the side of the property that takes you down to an almost private beach - we snorkeled with the turtles and fish almost every day. Loved the kitchen appliances, and amentities, although please remember to bring spices as there is only salt and pepper in the unit. Also two friendly NeNe's visited us in the mornings and evenings.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Came back for a second year and enjoyed it just as much. This is a great place to stay in Kauai (both Princeville and the condo). So many great things to say about 110 - big, view, location, more. Love it!
