For the summer months there are three lakes nearby (Lowell Lake, a few miles away, Gale Meadows Pond and Hapgood Pond) for kayaking, canoeing, fishing or just relaxing. For the golfer there is Stratton Golf School and Equinox Golf Resort & Spa in Manchester. Also two private clubs: Manchester Golf Club and Ekwanok Country Club. To the north is Fox Run Golf Club, in Ludlow. There are numerous swimming holes, that Vermont is famous for and enough hiking trails to keep you busy for months. Concerts at Stratton, Okemo, summer theater at the Weston Playhouse (7 miles north) and many microbrewers to visit (and sample). In the fall our location is perfectly situated to take advantage of tree peeping season. Take a chair lift or gondola ride up Stratton or Bromley. The views are spectacular. For the shopper and Spa enthusiast Manchester is 15 min away where you’ll find great outlet stores and the Equinox Spa at the Inn at Equinox.
