Award-Winning Log Cabin, Top 5 in New England!

Hi Stacie, the homeowners have asked us to share this response: - Thank you for selecting the West River Lodge for your winter getaway. We are sorry to hear that you did not have a wonderful time at our little log cabin, and we want to address the "issues" you mentioned. - The outdoor fire pit is seasonal. As we explained to you, even if a considerable effort was made to shovel it out, it would not be accessible as we would not want you to slip and fall on your way to the firepit. The nightly temperatures were also in the single digits during your stay, with more snow falling most days. We'll update the listing to make the seasonality more clear. - The cabin is on a scenic route, and there are no sidewalks on the main roads in Vermont. We don't advertise it as walkable for this reason. - We apologize for the pot, as we weren't aware that it was stained. We did our best to purchase a new one and deliver it to you as quickly as possible. - Yes, we have one bathroom, which can be seen in the listing. It is small but cozy and warm in the winter and is right outside of the master bedroom. We're sorry that you didn't enjoy the five-star experience which we are accustomed to providing; we're confident that future guests will have exceptional stays here.
