We apologize it was hard for some of the very little children to walk the pathway. We do have another driveway directly in front you could unload/load but we usually don't mention that because it's also part of a neighborhood easement/walkway and they discourage us from parking there (and worry people will end up parking there regularly). We didn't think to mention this because our 2 young children have not ever had any issues walking up and down the pathway, but we will make note to inform guests they may unload there for convenience. As for the neighborhood roads, cars will not have any issues driving up and down the roads in the neighborhood (if they are without snow/ice). We have had guests with cars like Toyota Prius, Toyota Corolla, Honda Civic, etc that have not had any issues getting to the cabin. A 4-wheel drive vehicle is NOT needed if the roads are clear. As for snow, we have a wonderful HOA that takes care of plowing the roads if it snows and are very prompt and thorough with doing this. However, a 4WD is always recommended and sometimes required (as noted on the listing) in the winter months with there always being a chance of snow/ice on the roads both here and around the area. We apologize the fireplace went out. We sent you a few messages to try to help troubleshoot remotely but we unfortunately were unable to get someone out there in time with limitations from Covid and it being a quick turn around time before your departure. The company came out as soon as they could, discovered a piece needed to be ordered (just an old part that wears out over time), and the part has now been placed/repaired. They also apologized that their schedule is a little backed up and that they had to get the part in before repairing. Again we apologize this happened during your visit and for this inconvenience and hope the rest of your stay was great!
