Amazing views of the bay and a beautiful spacious apartment. A little light with some kitchen equipment (no forks!) but we had a fabulous, memorable time

Communication was very frustrating and slow and needing to respond to multiple emails requesting the same thing. Apartment is in a great spot, view fantastic. Only shower is accessed through a bedroom. Comfortable seating only provided for 2 people. Half the outside cushions missing. Told to search for teatowels and dishcloth to later be told they are not provided. Beds uncomfortable. Basic kitchen, no spare bin bags, little crockery. Just lacking in thought as to what guests might need. The cleaner was sent a day early as she had been told we were leaving that day.

Absolutely wonderful location - right by the beach and the old town. Brilliant local market and boulangerie. The apartment was perfect for the four of us (two adults, a 10 yr old/12 yr old - who were happy to share the double bed, and we didn't mind them going through our room to the shower. Air conditioning worked brilliantly (which was vital in one of the hottest weeks of the Summer). Minor detail on arrival as the system hadn't registered our deposit and so hadn't sent arrival instructions, but it was sorted very quickly once I contacted the 'chat. A few minor niggles that I pointed out (so home have been fixed)... Lack of seat cushions for the outdoor seats, no sharp knives/bread knife, broken filter coffee machine (Nespresso machine worked fine). All in all wonderful - wish we could go back.

I was very concerned about our rental in Antibes after reading the prior reviews but we had a great stay! As other reviewers have said the location and views are incredible! The most picturesque view out over the water and beach plus a short several minute walk to restaurants and the market in town. The apartment was clean, beds were comfortable and the access instructions were clear and easy. The apartment itself wasn't luxurious (this isn't a 5 star unit) and could use some minor maintenance - broken cabinet doors, backsplash tile off in the master to add an outlet but I also thought the price was reasonable. Overall good stay and would recommend for location & views.

Communication was very, very, poor throughout and slow. Seemingly dealing with two companies and three different emails didnt help. The telephone number provided went unanswered. The apartment itself is in an excellent position with a wonderful view. The only shower is through one of the bedrooms making it impractical for 4 people. There is only a sofa for two people. Where are the others supposed to sit? Over half the outdoor cushions were missing as well. When I requested teatowels and dishcloths I was told to search again. I did and when I told them they werent there, I eventually got told they don't provide them! I was booked for 4 nights but the cleaner came after 3 saying we needed to leave for the next people. The kitchen is poorly appointed with insufficient crockery, no extra bin bags etc. Much was lacking in the amenities and presentation, a very basic apartment at best.

The views from this property are absolutely stunning—some of the most beautiful I’ve ever seen. The location is central yet peaceful.That said, there were some issues. We noticed mold in the bathroom and master bedroom, and even found a note left by a previous guest regarding the same. The property management company was horribly slow to respond on email and never responded to me in the VRBO app, and the required guest pre-check-in form had ongoing technical problems completing it that were never resolved. While the address is correct, the location shown on VRBO and Google Maps is inaccurate (Apple Maps was correct).If these issues are addressed, this property could be truly exceptional.

This flat in Antibes is light, bright and airy, and in an ideal location. It's on the top floor, and overlooks the promenade. Beyond that, is the Mediterranean Sea, blue and beautiful. The balcony is a lovely perch on a sunny day. Gulls and swallows drift by, the sound of the surf is soothing. We loved this part of it, would happily live there.But, we had several problems, most of which could not be helped. Stuff happens. Our biggest complaint was with the host management company, Check My Guest. We weren't met, but got into the building okay, only to find our way to the top floor blocked by a metal gate. The local CMG rep seemed to think we didn't know the difference between the NA system of floor counting and the European, and kept telling me to go up a flight. I actually had to hold my phone to the gate while I shook it til it rattled like a jailcell door while calmly telling her we couldn't. We waited outside for a good hour until someone came with a key. Again, things happen, but the attitude was horrible. There were ongoing issues that undoubtedly will be resolved. Once the host, Julien, was informed of the problems, he reached out to us and was most gracious. We have no complaints about him whatsoever. Or, to be honest, the place itself. We continued to stay simply because it is so lovely. Check it out. I have a feeling Check My Guest won't be a problem much longer.

Die Haustür stand mit einem großen Stein davor offen, ich fühlte mich unsicher. Als wir um 21:00 Uhr in der Wohnung ankamen, waren es 12 Grad, die Heizung war ausgefallen und die Bettwäsche feucht – kein Vergnügen. Die Kaffeemaschine funktionierte nicht, die Dusche war verschimmelt. Es gab keine Weingläser und nur wenige bequeme Stühle. Die Bratpfannen waren unbrauchbar, sie waren von jemandem vor uns kaputt gemacht worden. In den Schlafzimmern fehlten Leselampen.

Appartement très bien situé face à la mer. Vue magnifique. Salon spacieux. Cuisine équipée mais poêles en très mauvais état.Dommage qu'une des chambres communique directement et sans porte avec la salle de bain. Les occupants de l'autre chambre n'y ont donc pas accès directement. Lors de notre séjour (en hiver), il y avait une forte odeur d'humidité dans la chambre. Sinon, attention au problème de stationnement. L'endroit est piétonnier. Les parkings sont proches mais tous payants et chers.

Apparemment de charme

Situation exceptionnelle qui se mérite. Pour arriver jusqu’à l appartement il faut voyager sans trop de bagages car l accès se fait par des ruelles piétonnes puis un escalier étroit jusqu’au 3 eme étage.

Die Wohnung war echt schön und hatte einen tollen Ausblick. Und man war mitten in der Altstadt. Aber: beim Einchecken gab es massive Probleme. Wir bekamen keinen Code, obwohl wir es vorher angemahnt hatten. Weder per Email noch telefonisch konnten wir jemanden erreichen oder wurden stets weitergereicht, ohne Hilfe zu bekommen. Wir mussten uns ein Hotelzimmer suchen, warteten weiterhin auf Reaktionen von Belvilla und checkmyguest und konnten erst am nächsten Tag durch Intervention eines deutschen Mitarbeiters endlich den Zugang bekommen. Außerdem hätte man uns mitteilen müssen, dass man mit dem Auto keinen Zugang hat, einen Parkplatz suchen muss und das Gepäck tragen. Unsere Woche war trotzdem schön, aber der katastrophale Start führt zu der schlechten Bewertung.
