Reviewer Comments: Having the opportunity to use the pool/facilities prior to check in day of is great! we didn't get to use it this time since we received the "your condo is ready!" text before we expected. Upon arrival, condo was clean / well appointed / welcoming decor. We signed the guest book! (shouldn't be hidden in a drawer!) beautiful views, comfy bed, and perfect proximity to some of our favorite restaurants! I love the 2 loungers and the breakfast table on the patio - perfect set up! We would definitely stay here again!

This unit has recently been refurbished and is very nice. One recommendation: Aronov and the HOA create a daily rental pass for the parking structure. Expecting our dinner guests to pay $35 to park for three hours is excessive.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We have been staying at the Aqua for almost 10 years and we love the facility itself. 1008 is a very nice, comfortable clean room. It could definitely use a decor, lighting and sofa update to bring it current. The cushions in the couch and loveseat are worn out and it makes it not as comfortable to sit as we would like it. Aqua is a beautiful facility and for the most part is well maintained. Our main and really only complaint would be that despite that "No Smoking" Signs everywhere, people continued to smoke on the patios which for a non smoker just dampens the whole experience. We were unable to use our patio 90% of the times we attempted to use it due to smoking by others. Sadly, they were most of the time really good at hiding and security could not see most of them, although they were actively trying to seek the offenders out. So basically, if that bothers you then Aqua, nor any other hotel in Panama City is a place you should visit for vacation.

A pleasant stay in this condo

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: I was extremely pleased with this unit. The decor was appealing. The size of my unit and its balcony were bigger than the unit of others in my group. My only (minor) complaints: The mattress in the master wasn't as comfortable as I'd like. I suggest adding a soft mattress pad. And the living room sofa/furniture will need replacing soon or at least re-stuffing the sofa cushions.Oh yeah...since when is check-out at 9:00AM? The early time was difficult (and new to me) and my request for a late check-out was denied. Check-out should be at least by 11:00AM.The location was IDEAL for the festival we attended at Aaron Bessant Amphitheater. Also within walking distance of restaurants and shopping. I'd stay here again.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We rented 1008 and the unit was nice except the eyesore of a repair job to the celiing in the dining area. Also, large redneck trucks that stick out past the columns in the garage need to be banished to the roof. Makes it hard for normal cars to get through the narrow drive ways. Why have a parking pass when nothing is enforced? All kinds of jerks with big trucks taking up 2 spaces on purpose. That is cause for immediate towing in my book. If I have to pay $20 to park, then it needs to be enforced!!

Reviewer Comments: The unit's furnishings were very dated and could use a new makeover, but the thing that was the most important to us was how comfortable the beds were: These beds were NOT comfortable at all. You couldn't even turn over in the bed whiteout it squeaking and making all kinds of racket and the mattresses were very hard an uncomfortable. The unit also had LOTS of structural issues that just made it unappealing to stay in. Cracks in on all of the ceilings, Moldy tile grout in the shower, TONS of carpet stains... I could go on. The items in the kitchen all had to be washed before we could use them. Most of them still had dried food in them or were still greasy, the kitchen counter tops has to be scraped clean to get all the dried up food off of them. Needless to say, we will choose a different unit next time.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The location of Aqua is excellent and the view from #1008 was phenomenal. Sadly those are the only two pros. The cons are numerous. Two of the four elevators were out of order so waiting to catch one could take a very long time. We found out they had been down since June. Management mentioned it in a text only on the day of our check in. Plus there was construction going on next door.The unit itself was nothing like the pictures. The carpet (and why anyone would have carpet at the beach is beyond me) was very stained, one side of the drapes in the living area was torn and hanging down, a handle on the TV credenza was missing, the couch & loveseat need to be replaced and the bed in the master bedroom was like sleeping on a concrete slab. It’s obvious the owners of this unit do not want to put any money into the upkeep. My daughter stayed in a unit up on the 17th floor and it was extremely nice and well kept.Needless to say we were very disappointed.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The only issue we had were the elevators. During the week of our vacation two elevators were consistently broken or off limits and the wait times for the remaining elevators were ridiculously long. It wasn't unusual to wait upwards of 15 minutes for an elevator and then it was crammed full of people. Our unit was clean and nice, there were not enough blankets for all of the beds but overall a very nice week.
