Island Breeze Villa- On the Sea Side

A scenic 30 minute ride from Montego Bay Sangster International airport (MBJ), to a relaxing sea side retreat.

Guests are sure to enjoy a memorable vacation in this fully furnished, 3 bedroom/3 bathroom private villa. The main bedroom has a king sized bed, while the second bedroom has a king sized bed (option to make two twin beds), and third bedroom has a full sized bed comfortable for sleeping six people. Each bedroom has its own bathroom. Villa is equipped with an on sight washing machine and line for drying in the fresh sea breeze.

The spacious living room is furnished with sofa and chairs, and flat screen smart TV. The kitchen is perfect for dining as it is equipped with full size range, double sinks, microwave, coffee maker, toaster, blender and new refrigerator. Situated on the beach, guests can enjoy an afternoon of sun bathing, swimming, or relaxing on the beautiful white sand beach. In the evening they can take in the beautiful sunset and go for a drink and listen to live music at Leroy's Bar, just a short walk up the beach.

Spend the day away, enjoying nearby attractions such as Dunn's River Falls in Ocho Rios, River Tubbing in Rio Bueno, Mystic Mountain Zip Line in Ocho Rios and many, many more.

What a gem of a place! I’m hesitant to write such a positive review because everyone will start booking this place, but it’s amazing. Alisa and Joan are great, very responsive and helpful. Joan is an excellent cook and even taught us how to make jerk chicken!The house is literally in the beach and on a private road, which was perfect for our kids to run around by themselves.The house has a great layout, lots of outdoor seating and a beautiful veranda on the roof that overlooks the ocean. The grounds are immaculately maintained. Beds were comfortable, bathrooms worked well. Fully stocked kitchen and several local restaurants nearby.We are already booking our return. Thanks for an amazing stay!!

Property you rent when nothing else is available

This is the type of property you rent when nothing else is available... friends rented another property and we waited too long to book a reservation. The location is perfect... less than 30 steps from the beach. You can hear the ocean. A perfect night's sleep. Joan, the property's helper, was friendly and most helpful. She even stopped to pick up coffee one morning for us! However, she was no vaccinated. The property seems to need some attention. It needs a paint job and a good cleaning (both inside and outside.). It needs outside seating for eating and relaxing. There are no useful seats for eating or admiring the magnificent view. The exterior patio was in bad shape- there are no pictures for your review. The cement patio set was not suitable for eating and there was Inside dining only. Inside sitting only as well. The property advertises 3 bedroom; however only 2 of the bathrooms worked. One bedroom needed to be cleared of storage to accommodate an extra guest. The ceiling of the bedroom was damaged with no working ceiling fan. The beds were comfortable and the space provided a place to sleep and eat. The host was gracious... she allowed us to bring our dog. She was available by phone when we needed her assistance. The space seemed more suitable for college kids rather than a family.

Beautiful oceanfront cottage

Island Breeze Villa was wonderful! It was right on the ocean at the Duncan's Bay public beach access. The house was very secure and well appointed with comfortable guest rooms, a fully appointed kitchen and beautiful artwork. It was much nicer than other resort accommodations that we have had in Jamaica. The driver Noel and groundskeeper Sean were both very friendly, knowledgeable and helpful, guiding us towards interesting activities and helping us with supplies and errands.

Hidden Gem right on the Beach

This beachfront villa is clean, well equipped and quiet, making if it a perfect setting for a reflective retreat or romantic getaway. You have a virtually private beach, providing beautiful walks a fenced in yard with pretty grounds and a table for dining alfresco. There is a patio that is perfect setting to roll out a yoga mat (provided at the villa) and practice in the sunlight to the beautiful sounds of the ocean and the birds singing. Alisa was always quick to respond to any emails prior and post stay. If you are not renting a car, I highly recommend using Alisa's driver Sean for airport transfers or a drive out for a day of sight seeing. He was fantastic and accommodating to us. I suggest you ask him to take you to the market on the way from the airport for provisions if you are not hiring a cook as dining options are limited. We hope to return to the villa one day, we thoroughly enjoyed our 3 day getaway.

I have been traveling to Jamaica since I was a young girl, my Mom and aunt would travel there at least once a year with my brother and cousins. I have amazing memories of these family trips, we always stayed in a private villa close to the beach and took may excursions during our stay to see the beautiful country and get to know the people.

I had continued to visit over the years, I decided to buy a place several years back, but I wanted a place on the beach. After many trips to find my perfect slice of paradise I finally found it!

I hope you love it as much as I do!
