Globally inspired with modern beach bohemian decor, The Kauai Treehouse will offer you a tranquil and comfortable escape to relax and enjoy. This 3 bedroom home is fully furnished including linens, games, and beach equipment. It includes all the modern amenities you come to desire and expect in a getaway retreat. Riverfront property allows privacy and you can float down stream to a very private beach setting. Our location is in the middle of one of the finest examples of old Hawaii left today. Conveniently located minutes from Hanalei Bay as well as close proximity to the famous Tunnels and Ke’e beaches at the end of the north shore. Other stunning and unique beaches span the shore just waiting for you to explore all within minutes.

Each bedroom has a king size bed, with new mattresses and new sheets and pillows. All bedrooms feature private walk out balconies with pristine Kauai views. Nice bedroom furniture and fans in all rooms, including the main lanai, which is screened-in. Master bedroom is very attractive and has a new flat screened TV. The Master bath includes newly renovated walk in shower and large vanity. New flooring throughout the home. Great views spanning all directions from the house. WiFi and phone access in the home as well. The house sits up high overlooking the clear water stream and hosts ducks, fish and many other endangered species in a pristine setting. Large lawn to enjoy, BBQ to grill and enjoy the great outdoors. Fully enclosed Lani to enjoy outdoor dining with the comforts of screened in enclosures. This was a great place to stay for our family!The house is very comfortable and the location is out of the way. There was some noise of dogs barking and of course roosters but it wasn’t a major problem for us. The property manager and the host both responded to a check in issue. We enjoyed walking to the nearby coffee shop and store, and to the beach. Overall this was a great home for our family and made our trip a memorable one!

We had an issue with the phone and they were so helpful in getting it resolved for us quickly. The house is in such an amazing location for relaxing and we spent a lot of time on the lanai. The dogs were an issue. There was no rhyme or reason to when they would get set off and at times they were really loud. It did upset the vibe.

The Treehouse is an absolute gem. We loved staying here, it felt like home. The house was clean and quiet. We did notice the treehouse effect of slight swaying (since it is raised). We had everything we needed right in Hanalei. But found it very easy to also go on our tours across the island. The house was such a cozy and peaceful place to come back to after a day of adventures. The kitchen had everything but the groceries stocked. Laundry was great to have. And we made use of the grill by enjoying some locally fresh caught Marlin and Swordfish! We had read reviews about the dogs. The neighbor does have dogs that bark, but honestly the ones in my neighborhood at home are the same. And while there, we felt part of the neighborhood. We walked to The Haven and the market just down the road. There are so many beaches to visit, and the stars at night are amazing! One of our kayak tours was canceled unexpectedly, so we made our way back to the house and kayaked the river to the beach, it was fantastic.Our daughter loved the surfboard room. The master bedroom is so spacious and comfortable. Our friend stayed in the “beach” room and loved the breeze coming off the mountains. It was a magical stay and we hope to be back. Thank you so much for sharing your space.

My son and daughter and I loved it. We loved the solitude and the being away from the crowds. It was a little scary trying to make that turn before the bridges when we weren't really expecting it. We loved all the beautiful landscaping with all the gorgeous plants and flowers and the stream right outside. Loved the lanai. That's where we our meals every day.It was a little disconcerting to feel the house shake the first time when a big truck went down the road on the other side of the stream. We thought we had avoided the tsunami, just in time for an earthquake....then we realized it was one of the unexpected experiences of staying in a home on stilts. Loved the going down to the beach about 5 minutes away and watching the sunrise over the ocean....magical!

Great location for a quiet getaway in the jungle, while still having great access to the beaches and town in Hanalei. We really enjoyed sleeping in the trees, along the relaxing stream. Like everyone else on the island, we had a scare with the tsunami warning. Our property manager reached out to make sure we were OK and then helped with other arrangements during the evacuation- couldn’t ask for better support than she provided. There’s a great breeze in the house and wonderful landscaping.

We really enjoyed staying at the Kauai Treehouse. It was close to our favorite beach for snorkeling, Tunnels. Everything was very accommodating inside: comfy beds; great appliances (e.g., washer and dryer); abundant towels; well appointed kitchen; etc. It had everything we needed, in a lush, tropical setting. And everything was immaculately clean. The only drawback isn't the owner's fault, but rather, the neighbors: the dogs. As other reviewers have noted, the next door dogs bark for extended and unpredictable periods. The dogs are clearly in distress, maybe even agony. We suspect they are caged. The barking disturbed our quiet and even our sleep. I don't know what can be done, but it is a liability of an otherwise wonderful property. (the roosters are another matter, and that's a Kauai-wide problem).

The stay was fantastic.

Beautiful home, beautiful yard. Fantastic location. Great place to be. Kids wanted to move in forever.It was a bit difficult to find the first time in the dark- instructions to turn before the double bridge eould habe been useful.

Ideal Family Stay!

We were thrilled we heard about The Treehouse for our Kauai stay! We had so much space and amenities for our family of 6! The proximity to Hanalei and Tunnels Beach was amazing. We loved how secluded our house was and enjoyed feeling like we lived in the trees! There were lots of towels and beach gear. We floated to the beach using the river and enjoyed jumping in the fresh water after a salty beach day! A balcony off every room and two refrigerators were just a bonus! We loved playing games together on the screened in lanai every night! All of us were sad to leave!

Heaven on Kauai

I'll start with the challenges.1) This home has no AC. It gets warm during the day.2) The dogs across the river don't have an off button.3) The road can be loud at times.Go into this with those things accepted and you will find our FAVORITE spot on Kauai to date. The home is beautiful, it's bright and airy. You ARE in nature. The landscaping is thoughtful, and there was plenty of space for our family of five.Every window is screened, there are smart TV's and good wifi. Best of all? This home is about as far NW as you can get. The beaches are pristine and nearly empty compared to the ones elsewhere on the island. The coffee shop down the street was a delight. Getting into the driveway from the North is a bit of a challenge (go past it, turn around, then make your way in).Highly recommended.

Jungle bungalow

I rented this for me and my 5 adult kids (26-31 yo). We had plenty of room and were very comfortable. It’s at the end of the road and takes a while to get to and from, but it was quiet and relaxing. Loved it!

Wainiha Treehouse Experience

My family’s experience in the treehouse was pretty amazing! We enjoyed nine nights and nine beautiful days in the Hanalei area and beyond. There were five of us total. The three bedrooms accommodated us well. If you enjoy waking up with daylight rising right outside your lanai, then I would definitely choose the surf room. If you prefer to sleep in a little longer, you might consider the other two bedrooms. There were 26 steps to climb to reach the front door, and I enjoyed every single one of them. I especially loved hearing the bullfrogs at night. One day I decided to ask Google how to describe the sound that bullfrogs make. My answer was confusing and a little silly. Google answered “ Jug of rum“ there was no way I could ever make “jug of rum” out of their songs at night! The singing birds were an added attraction . The roosters were active pretty much all night, but it really didn’t bother any of us. The beds were comfortable. The master bathroom shower was amazing! The cleanliness could’ve been upped a little, but I guess everybody has their own ideas of cleanliness. We were also a little surprised that we had no sauce pans in the kitchen and the kitchen refrigerator was not working properly causing us to lose some food items, however there was a working fridge on the lanai. All in all, it was the best Hawaii trip of the family thus far. And I think everyone would agree with me.

The house was very comfortable, functional, and kitchen was well equipped. Enjoyed the location and north shore activities, people, and beaches.While somewhat remote the neighborhood was noisy. Several dogs nearby barked often throughout the day and night. You could hear traffic crossing the nearby bridges. That was our only comcern.

Gorgeous location

Beautiful home in a beautiful location. White noise cancels out the dogs. We were a little bummed to find out kayaking on the river was a no go, but still an amazing experience! Recommend it!

Tree house vacation 2024

Very cool location, very far from tourist, private beach was very nice, all amenities were acceptable it made family dinners very easy. However just be awear very loud shouting nabors very loud barking dogs and yes of course roosters a pleanty.

Interessantes Haus mitten in der Natur

Das Haus ist traumhaft, mitten im Urwald und doch nahe Strand und Fluss. Das Haus ist schon etwas älter aber grundsätzlich gut in Schuss. Nur die Küchenausstattung ist spärlich (6 Messer) und die Küchengeräte und Schränke sind abgenutzt. Die Informationen bezüglich Türcode und andere Einzelheiten bekommt man nicht über FeWo sondern muss auf eine andere App (Hospitality) gehen. Insgesamt aber eine runde Sache. Würden es wieder buchen!
