Hokulele Hale is a three-bedroom two bath single family home.
This home is located at the end of a quiet cul-de-sac just 125 yards from the famous Hanalei Bay Beach. The property is set back from the street on a flag lot and is adjacent to several acres of undeveloped land lending an unparalleled sense of peace and tranquility. From the bedrooms and the lanais, there are lovely views of the waterfalls towering over Hanalei town

The large back lanai is furnished with comfortable furniture and looks out toward the creek on the neighboring property and undeveloped land beyond where the lovely melody of birds can be heard all day. It is a place where you and your family can sit and enjoy the peaceful island breeze and the untainted views.

The house boasts lovely decor, tile floors, and granite counters. There is a 550-square-foot tastefully decorated loft. A large kitchen is equipped with a dishwasher, five-burner range, a garbage disposal, and hundreds of square feet of counter space to provide for all your family's dining needs. The adjoining dining room has flexible seating. A 300-square-foot covered lanai is located outside of the kitchen if you prefer to dine outside.

The gardens surrounding the house have been lovingly landscaped with dozens of varieties of tropical flowers and foliage. The scent of pikake, plumeria, and gingers waft through the house on the gentle island breeze. You will find the beautiful and unusual heliconia flowers in an amazing variety of colors and shapes.
In the midst of this incredible yard, you will also find a private outdoor shower with hot and cold water where you can peacefully bathe under the stars.

Our special island home has been rejuvenated with love and special attention to detail. We are sure you will find it both comfortable and relaxing. We are a local family who wish to share our Aloha with you and your family. Come to Hokulele Hale and find a place that you can call your home away from home.

Please familiarize yourself any travel warnings. It is imperative that if you plan to go on vacation that you purchase travel insurance in the event that you cannot travel due to illness, natural disasters or other. Hanalei is in a tsunami zone and Hawaii does experience occasional hurricanes as well as flooding. When you arrive, please familiarize yourself with evacuation procedures located in our home. This house is such a gem. It is so well equipped with everything you’ll need for a fun and relaxing vacation. The location is fantastic - just a short walk to Hanalei Pavilion. Check-in and checkout was easy and convenient. We will absolutely stay again!

Dear Ann,THANK YOU SO VERY MUCH!!!!!We had the most amazing time and it was all possible with your beautifully appointed and located home. We were so very comfortable, had absolutely everything we needed and definitely wanted to stay forever!I am also beyond grateful for your incredible understanding with our unusual circumstances that arose one day before our arrival. Your kindness and generosity were so appreciated. Walking to the beach anytime of day or night was so special. And of course, you had us fully supplied with chairs, tubes, towels , even snorkel gear ( I should’ve checked before I packed ours )We loved Pinks ice cream and Chicken in a Barrel ( such a sweet owner) Local kitties, toads, geckos and of course, chickens made us so very happy as we are nature and animal lovers. Thank you for all of your attention to detail, the beautiful appointments all throughout the house, your detailed Welcome Book.I hope and pray we’ll be back again one day and truly hope that next time my husband will be well enough to join in on all the peace and adventure.All the best, we are grateful for you!!

Even better than expectations!

Ann is a wonderful host and has created an amazing place. The pictures don’t do it justice. The furniture throughout is great. We moved from a larger, newer house in princeville to Ann’s place and the improvement in sleep quality due to the Aweosme mattress and pillows was greatly appreciated by everyone in our group. The house is fully stocked with a coffee grinder and a bin of whole beans for great coffee at the house. The loft area upstairs was a hit with the kids. The lack of AC takes some getting used to but it’s magical at night. Leave all of the doors and windows open (screens closed) with fans blowing through the house to keep it fresh and not muggy. If kids shut the sliding glass doors it can get hot so just keep those glass doors open and you’re set. Thanks again Ann! We’ll be back. :)

We had the most enjoyable stay at this incredible home! The proximity to Hanalei Bay, restaurants and shopping was unbeatable. The property was impeccably clean and fit our family of 5 with comfort. We felt safe sending the kids home to walk from the beach and were truly awestruck when we stepped foot onto the beach for the very first time. We also took a tour of the Nepali coast with Hanalei Charters and highly recommend any visitor to do so! The host of property was friendly and accommodating in every way. Thank you for a wonderful visit to this most gorgeous location!

Our new favorite place

We have stayed on the north shore of Kauai almost a dozen times over the years, usually in Princeville because it’s easy to find an affordable condo. This time we decided to stay right in Hanalei so our teens could have freedom to walk to town and the beach. This house could not have been more perfect. It was the most equipped rental we have ever stayed in. It had beach chairs, an umbrella, snorkel gear, and beach towels. The kitchen had everything we could have wanted including a nice blender and air fryer among other things. The house was very clean and comfortable. We loved relaxing on the lanai and watching all the birds enjoy the tropical garden. As with many places on Kauai, you should expect the roosters to wake you so bring ear plugs if that bothers you. We got used to it. There are plenty of fans in case it gets hot. We absolutely loved walking on the beach every morning and then walking to town for breakfast. It’s a really nice, quiet neighborhood as well. Thank you for taking such great care of this rental and sharing it with us. We all left feeling very grateful and look forward to going back one day.

We were here to celebrate our family and enjoy time together in a beautiful setting. We were all quite comfortable. We enjoyed the outdoor spaces, and the indoor ones, too. The view from the loft is amazing, and we could catch a bit of it from a corner of the lanai as well. Its location by the river made for a very natural feel outdoors. Easy access to all parts of Hanalei made for fun times in town and at the beach. Everything worked great, and everything was clean. Ann was very responsive when I inquired with questions, and the whole vibe was warm and inviting. Would definitely rent this house again if circumstances warrant a space this big.

Great place

We loved this rental. The location was great, and it was a very easy walk to the beach. The kitchen was well stocked and there were plenty of places to hang out in the house. Highly recommend.

first and foremost ann is totally an amazing host. the few things we had questions on - she responded right away. second the property is well maintained and totally stocked with just about anything you could ask for - especially in the kitchen - if it isnt in ann's kitchen more than likely they dont make it. as others have said its like 2 blocks from one of the most gorgeous beaches anywhere, and there is shopping and dining within a 8-10 minute walk. where as in alot of other places in kauai you have to drive for anything and everything. Hanalei Bay is a perfect hawaiin vacation. the only drawback to the north shore area is its a drive to get to anywhere else on the island. but the house is your perfect hawaiin getaway. especially after a weather front moves thru - 2 blocks away and we could hear the waves crashing all night as we slept.

Awesome location, house, and host!

This house is amazing and had such a great stay. The location is perfect and we were able to walk to the beach and local restaurants. The house itself is kept in very good condition and has all the things needed for a great stay including beach items like chairs and umbrellas and boogie boards. There were fresh linens and plenty of sleeping supplies. We had a large group and I researched many houses in Hanalei and for the price point and comparable houses this is the best deal you can find on any website. Also the host is fantastic and easy to reach, checkin and checkout was simple. Overall 5/5 and would recommend, just book it!

Great getaway

We had a wonderful stay at Ann’s home. The house was perfect for 4 adults and 2 children. Great location with a 5 minute walk to the beach or the shops and restaurants. The kitchen is well stocked and there is plenty of beach gear. The covered lanai was where we spent most of our time at the house and it was perfect for enjoying some rainstorms. Highly recommended!

Perfect location for a relaxing getaway

I couldn't say enough about how much we loved our stay. Beyond being in a great spot to take short walks to the beach or into town, our group (adults and teenagers) really were impressed. The kitchen was stocked with everything you would need, including a stand-alone ice-maker! The back lanai was a natural gravitation point for our evening get-togethers, and Ann has her guests well taken care of when it comes to overall comfort, with comfortable beds and more than enough fans to keep the air flowing nicely. If you're looking for a very relaxing, chill vacation in a scenic beach town, you've come to the right place!

Wonderful stay in Hanalei!

Our stay in Hanalei was nothing short of amazing. The property was perfect for a quiet beach vaxarion, conveniently located near the beach as well as shops and restaurants, and check in and out were a breeze. Mahalo to Ann for being such a fantastic host!

Highly Recommend! 9 days in paradise!

I highly recommend Ann’s beautiful home in Hanalei Bay. It was the perfect location! A short walk (a couple minutes) to the beach or into town. No need to drive or look for that parking spot! We’ve been to Kauai with the family a few times and by far Hanalei Bay is my favorite place to be. Nothing is more beautiful so I was so happy to find Ann’s home available when we wanted to go! The home is situated on a very quiet street surrounded by lush tropical foliage. So many birds! I loved waking up to sketch or read on her wrap around lanai! The kitchen is stocked with great spices and basic ingredients (coffee/sugar/olive oil, etc) which made cooking super easy as we didn’t have to go buy all the extra things! Also boogie boards, snorkel gear, chairs, and umbrellas are there to use, which makes a day at the beach so easy and fun! Ann is a super receptive host and whenever I asked her a question she would respond within minutes! We can’t wait go back there again!

We bought this property shortly after Hurricane Iniki because we needed a home to live in when our home in Kapaa was destroyed by the hurricane. We looked at many places but the uniqueness of Hanalei and its quaint small town feel that seems timeless helped us to decide that Hanalei was the place. We now use it as a place for our family to gather and a place to make new friends through the many guests who come to stay there.

O que faz essa propriedade ser única?

This house is uniquely situated. Unlike the comparable houses in Princeville, we are actually located IN Hanalei. It is close to the beach but far from cars and foot traffic. It is so relaxing with its large private lanais you'll never want to leave.
