Pleasure Island Paradise - closest rental to the beach you will find

Wake up every morning to watch the sun rising over the ocean, dolphins playing in the waves right in front of you, waves crashing on the sand just feet from your deck and enjoying a cup of coffee in the your comfortable deck chairs. Enjoy the view of Fort Fisher State Recreation area and the amazing twisted live oak trees along the beach trail that starts right next to the condo. Take a walk down to the Fort Fisher Aquarium or the Fort Fisher Battlefield & Museum on the sound side of the island just across the street. For more adventure, rent a kayak to explore Zeke's Island Reserve just a mile or two down the road, or take the ferry to Southport for the day. If you are feeling lazy, enjoy your day at the beach right on the other side of your deck or lounge at the pool, but make sure you take time to explore the coquina rock outcrop at low tide and you might find some beautiful shells and fun sea life in the tide pools. These rocks are literally right on the beach outside The Riggings property. Don't forget all the great restaurants, shops, piers and boardwalk fun just down the Road in the heart of Kure Beach and Carolina Beach.

Gorgeous, newly remodeled 1 bedroom beach condo in The Riggings - Building 4 P1. This is a bottom floor oceanfront unit with tons of privacy since it faces Fort Fisher State Recreation Area next door and there are no neighbors on that side. We have equipped our home to a high standard and tried to anticipate your needs by providing all the things you might want for a luxurious stay. Our home has a single bedroom with a brand new king-sized bed with a memory foam mattress and luxurious linens. There are two twin bunks with privacy curtains and new memory foam mattresses in the hallway alcove that adults will find very comfortable and kids will have fun with. The deep seating couch in the living room has a very large over-sized queen sofa bed with a brand new memory foam mattress for maximum comfort.

Sleeping Arrangements: 1 King Bed (new memory foam), 2 twin bunks (with privacy curtains & new memory foam mattresses) and 1 over-sized queen sofa bed (new memory foam mattress)

You will find your kitchen well stocked with all the amenities you could ask for. There is a dishwasher, microwave, coffee pot, electric tea kettle, toaster, margarita machine, blender, food processor, rice cooker, hand mixer and more. You will find high end cookware, plenty of cooking utensils, dinnerware and drink ware for all the various types of drinks you could imagine. There is a large refrigerator with filtered water and ice, a large pantry to store additional food. The pantry and kitchen are already stocked with cooking oils, spices, coffee & tea, sugar, flour, condiments & dressings and more so you won't need to buy as much during your stay with us. There are plenty of baking dishes and sheets as well.

Both the living room and bedroom feature flat screen televisions with cable TV & Roku for streaming access to movies, Hulu with Showtime, Netflix, Network TV Streaming Apps, HBO and more. There is a DVD player in the living room as well in case you want to watch DVDs. You will find cards and games in the utility closet, along with beach chairs, sand toys, a hammock for the deck, pop-up beach shelter, an umbrella and more in the deck box outside. There are toys in the storage drawers under the bunk beds for the little ones too.

In the bathroom, you will find plenty of luxurious bath towels, along with oversized beach towels and extra linens in the closet. The bathroom has a bath tub/shower combo with a hand-held shower head to pull down and wash off your feet or your little ones coming in from the beach with sand. There is a washer & dryer in the alcove of the bathroom and we have provided detergent and fabric softener for you to use during your stay. The dispenser in the shower is stocked with argan oil shampoo & conditioner and luxurious body wash for you to use, and you will find cotton balls and Q-tips so there is no need to pack those. We have provided a hair dryer for your use as well and there is an iron and ironing board in the bedroom closet.

There is a ton of comfy seating in the condo with a super comfortable couch, two leather club chairs with ottomans to kick your feet up and relax and read a book, an over-sized chair and ottoman next to the deck doors to sit and watch the waves outside. The dining table has 4 chairs and a leaf to extend the table for more seating can be found in the bedroom closet. There are 3 adjustable bar stools that can be dropped down to sit at the table if you prefer not to eat at the bar. You will also find several nice deck chairs outside.

Our beach paradise has some smart features that will enhance your stay. The first one can be found at the front door with the smart lock that allows you in with a simple code, so there is no need to pick up keys or carry keys with you. The HVAC system is equipped with a smart thermostat and a touchscreen to adjust the temperature. This smart thermostat is equipped with Amazon Alexa and you can literally just ask "Alexa, lower the temperature to 70" or ask her for restaurants or places to see nearby. If you would like to enjoy some music while you are cooking or hanging out, simply ask Alexa to play some tunes for you.
