Oceanfront Ground Floor Condo with Pool- Riggings D1

Ground floor, end unit directly on the ocean! You just don’t get closer than this. Watch the sunrise from your private balcony. Just steps away from the beach. 2 miles to Kure Beach pier, 2 miles to NC aquarium, 5 miles to Carolina Beach Boardwalk. This unit has one bedroom with a king bed and two twin bunk beds in the hallway. Full kitchen with microwave, dishwasher, Keurig machine (please bring k cups), toaster and all utensils, dishes and glasses. Unit has WiFi, Netflix and cable TV. TVs in living room and bedroom. Washer/dryer. Absolutely no need to bring anything. We are stocked like a hotel with all sheets and linens cleaned for you and ready before you arrive. We also are fully stocked with toilet paper, paper towels and laundry detergent.

This condo is located all the way at the end of the beach strand by Fort Fisher. What that means is the beach is never packed. At times, you will feel like you are on your own private beach. If you prefer crowds, go one mile South to Fort Fisher Beach area or two miles North by the pier. Surf fishing is superb directly in front of the condo because of a large rock formation off of Fort Fisher. Just to the North a couple hundred feet, you will find one of North Carolina’s very few coquina rock outcroppings. The kids will be entertained for hours playing on the rocks.

**We highly suggest you purchase travel insurance for stays during the months of June through October, however the most active months for hurricanes are September and October. Refunds will not be offered for poor weather unless the property is uninhabitable**

**We ask that you please bring your own beach gear due to the lack of storage in the unit and gear continually disappearing**

**Pool typically opens late April and closes mid September. Closure of pool relates to weather and can change.**

**In the Spring and Summer, the beach is typically very plentiful. In the Fall and Winter, we can get what are called “King Tides”. These are extremely high tides due to the moons position with the earth. They happen monthly for about 5-6 days. Combine that with strong NE winds and you will have very high tides which can cause lots of sand to be removed from the beach, exposing sandbags that are mostly covered in Summer. There is still room to walk the beach heading north from condo. The beach replenishes itself VERY fast afterwards, so conditions can change in a matter of days**

** We have a security camera at the front door and on the exterior perimeter of the balcony. No part of your balcony is in view of the camera. We use this camera to monitor potential threatening storms and sea levels. Audio is disabled.**

** This condo is located directly ON the beach. We have a very warm and humid climate. Being on the ground floor, insects such as palmetto bugs can enter through the tiniest cracks, especially the screen doors. If insects bother you,please leave the slider door and front door shut as much as possible. Although we perform regular pest control, we cannot guarantee it to be pest free. We cannot compensate for the presence of pests and insects.**

**Absolutely NO pets allowed per HOA rules and regulations.**
