Casa Blanca on the Beach

Welcome to Casa Blanca our family’s retreat from the real world. We would like to share with you the beautiful beach of Playa Grande with breathtaking sunsets, abundance of wildlife and undeniably the most spectacular scenery.

Playa Grande is a part of Las Baulas National Park where the world’s largest leatherback turtles nest. Because we are right on the beach, you might get lucky and see the turtles when they come to lay their eggs or the hatchlings when they make their run to the sea.

We are approximately one hour from Liberia Airport. We are also 30 minutes driving distance or a short walk on the beach to Tamarindo and 30 minutes from Flamingo where you will find plenty of shops and restaurants.

Relax on the front porch and watch the waves break and the sun set while enjoying a cocktail. The house has an open layout with a well equipped kitchen, a large dining room table which seats 12, a wonderful round game table, plenty of sitting areas where you can enjoy your company or read a book while watching the ocean.

We offer light daily maid service 6 days a week at no additional charge. Maid service does not include laundry and cooking.
