Family friendly 3 BR house, 2 blocks to the ocean!

A bright and cozy Beach Haven Shore House on Long Beach Island, NJ. Enjoy our shore house - we only rent a few weeks! A family oriented 3 bedroom home, 1 1/2 baths and sleeps up to 9 people. Great location - less than 2 blocks from the beach (and one block from the great bay sunsets!) in the quiet LEHYC area at the southern end of Beach Haven, less than a mile to the center of town with rides, amusements, market, restaurants, and shopping. Also just a short walk to a great playground for the kids.

Our home has... Master bedroom and family room on the first floor, with Living room, Dining room, Kitchen, Full Bath, and 2 Bedrooms on the second floor. The living room features a high beamed ceiling with a large sliding door access to the spacious deck, which is also accessible via a dutch door in one bedroom. The deck has a large table with seating under a large pergola canopy, and includes a large gas grill. The living room includes a queen size sleeper sofa and a loveseat, and has a large wall-mounted TV with full cable, DVR, and more. The dining room table has chairs for 6 and bench seating to expand that, and the modern kitchen includes everything you expect: gas range, microwave, dishwasher, Keurig coffeemaker, and a complete set of dishes, utensils, and cookware. One upstairs bedroom contains a queen bed, and the other bedroom has two twin beds. A fold-away cot is also available for use. There is also a queen sleeper sofa in the living room.

The first floor Master bedroom has a queen bed, TV, and ceiling fan, along with a private full bath. The first floor family room contains an oversized swivel rocking chair and a loveseat, with a TV. There is a washer and dryer, and off-street parking for 4 cars. The backyard includes an outside shower and clothesline.


While you are here...: Take in a show at the Broadway-quality Surflight Theatre, or enjoy shopping at Bay Village. For the kids there is Surflight Children's Theatre and Fantasy Island with it's amusement park and indoor entertainment areas. Drive up to Barnegat Light at the north end of the island. Walk through the state park or up to the top of Old Barney - you'll see some amazing views. If fishing is your thing, great fishing is available both on the bay and from the beach, and charter fishing boats are readily available in Beach haven. The Alliance for a Living Ocean runs Eco-Tours of LBI, exploring the dunes and the wetlands of our barrier island. They also offer field trips and other special programs in the summer which are great fun for the whole family. Beach Haven and LBI offer so much for all ages, do all this and more or do nothing but relax on the beach and take in the sun. Whatever you do it's a great place to enjoy yourself... There's no place like Beach Haven!
