On Little St. Germain Lake, fishing for the mighty musky is a challenge to the best of the fishermen. Once you tie into one you are hooked for good. The lake also abounds with walleye, small and largemouth bass, northern, bluegill, crappies and perch.

Annual stay at Elberts

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We’ve been coming to St. Germain for nearly 50 years. We love this resort. Our group comes the same week every year and we have 50-75 people. Resort is clean and well maintained. The Timbers Bar on site is a plus along with the great beach, grassy area, play set for the kids and volleyball pit.

Birch Cabin

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: 35+ years on this resort - we love coming to St. Germain. A very fun property with nice amenities and friendly staff. The property is kept tidy and the beach is very nice. The "on site" bar, The Timbers is fabulous. The kids had fun go-karting, on the jet ski, swimming, tubing down the river, mini golf and baseball in the field and multiple trips to Cathy's Ice Cream. Everything is close to the resort. The cabin was not nearly as clean as it had been in the past (despite the extra fee for cleaning)...windows were filthy. All in all, another great trip to Elbert's

We were with several other families and would come up just about every summer in the 70's and early 80's. It was wonderful coming back with my family. The Birch cabin was very nice and clean. Excellent resort as we created new memories.

Fall Getaway

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Rental is right on the lake. Was very clean, perfect for two people and cozy. Wasn't a great time for fishing off the dock due to the weather being cold and snowy. The few fish that we caught were very very tiny most likely due to this area being very overfished throughout the summer months. A boat would have been preferable but not ideal during this time. Overall had a very nice relaxing time which is what we wanted. The only downside was that rental was very very close to other rentals. Would have preferred a little bit more distance and privacy but it was okay.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We booked a last minute trip to St.Germain to enjoy the fall colors. The Birch at Elberts was perfect for the four adults. It was very clean and the view from the deck was great, overlooking the lake. We enjoyed cooking in a kitchen with up-to-date cookware. Perfect weather for brats on the Weber grill. Even caught fish off the dock. As swimming season was over, it was peaceful and quiet. The bar/restaurant on the premises was convenient. Can’t wait to go back next fall..

Good time for the family
