1.2 acres of beautiful waterfront property. Pond is great for canoes, fishing, and swimming. Canoe provided for tenant use. Large waterfront area highlighted by private beach, dock, and flagpole. House is large, loaded with character, and sits right down on the water. House sits 200 feet from road in a private setting. There are three large bedrooms (one on the first floor and two on the second floor) and lots of skylights and windows throughout the house.

There are 2 queen beds, 2 twin beds, and a full futon.

Distance from town: approximately 3 miles.

A very beautiful property.

I have stayed at many places on Cape Cod and this was certainly the most beautiful. We all enjoyed our stay very much and I would recommend it to anybody, particularly families.

Lovely house on pond in Chatham

This is a lovely house, nice and spacious and being on the water of this pretty pond made our stay. We did lots of swimming and paddle boarding and a nice dock to sit on. The home has a lot of charm and is comfortable. The photos represent it well. The location is great to Ridgevale Beach, Marions Pie shop, the walking path, etc. but the street itself is not the best for walking/jogging. Thanks to this nice host for a great stay!

Beautiful and peaceful location

My husband, son and his family and our best friends stayed here for a week and it was the best!! Close to a lot of shopping, restaurants and downtown. We had everything we needed in this home and more! We went canoeing, fishing and just hanging out at the water with my grandson (2) . We did have a question and Lucas ( home owner) replied immediately to us. I could not have asked for a more relaxing location! We look forward to another week next year.

Paradise on the Cape

Dear Lucas, We had an awesome week on the Cape, specifically at Chatham. Thank you for sharing your beautiful home with our family, we had everything needed to make our stay a memorable one. The children enjoyed early morning fishing on the dock and our older son even caught a fish:)) It was so nice to wake up to such a beautiful view, I loved having my morning coffee at the kitchen table overlooking the pond. We also loved that everything was so close to us, beaches, downtown and especially the Corner Store for breakfast. We enjoyed dining at Delmar, Wild Goose Tavern and Buffy's for ice cream. Thank you for making our summer vacation a memorable one, all our best, The Cicarelli Family

Perfect pond location

This pond is one of my favorites of about 8 previous VRBO pond rentals. Gorgeous sunsets, very private location (only a few neighbors on the whole pond), great private beach and dock. The house was wonderful, with everything our family of 5 needed. The A/C was a big plus. Lots of restaurants and beaches within 5-15 minutes. I highly recommend it!

Wonderful family vacation on Cape Cod

This was a very nice lake house. The view was spectacular. Sunsets over the lake was so nice to sit and watch at the end of the day. The house was comfortable with lots of common areas to stretch out. The Owen Lucus was quick to respond to any questions by text. I would recommend to to any family looking for a private spacious family vacation.

Great getaway

What a find! Super clean. Plenty of space for a family to spread out, and then come together for dinner under the umbrella dockside. Many fishing trips in the canoe, sunsets photographed, burgers bbq'd on grill. Great location -- take a left to Main Street Chatham, and a right to Harwich. Home is lovely - decorated in "Cape Cod style", stocked kitchen (great fridge!), books on every shelf and plenty of board games. I don't often book vrbo or airbnb because I fear what I'll walk into...not to worry here, and my whole family has asked to book again! Just perfect, thank you for sharing your home!

Best Vacation Ever!

We had such a great time! We have three young kids and had plenty to do. We swam in the pond everyday! We brought our paddle boards and rafts and stayed out in the water for hours. When we weren't at the house we were at the beach that was less than 5 miles away. The house is centrally located and is next anything you need. The grocery store is up the street and has a Starbucks in it. The house is also right around the corner for a local deli that is rated number 2 on TripAdvisor. Speaking of the house, it is perfect. The beds were exceptionally comfortable and the top floor is perfect if you are renting with multiple families. The house has central air which is necessary for the middle of the summer. One of our favorite amenities about the house was the outdoor shower. We never took a shower inside. It was amazing! The owners of the home had great communication and gave us all necessary instructions to have an enjoyable stay. Thank you so much for sharing your home. We'll be back.

wonderful place to relax

My son and I spent a few days in this beautiful house my the lake and we had a fantastic time. The house was clean, well furnished and well equipped (kitchen, canoe…). The location is splendid - right on the water - and the scenery right outside the door (and from every window) is majestic, especially in the autumn when we visited. Autumn was a great time to go up there and we good advantage of local hiking routes to enjoy the changing colours. Our hosts left good guidance and advice on the local area and there was more to do than we had time to do, even in the off season. Anyway, our purpose to go there was to relax and that we did...

Wonderful home on a lake - PRIVACY!

My husband and I had a wonderful stay at this home. It was clean and comfortable with a beautiful view of the lake. It rained two of the days we were there but we enjoyed staying in and taking advantage of the house and all that it had to offer. I would definitely recommend this home to friends and family and Lucas was very easy to work with and very accessible. Great value for the money!

You truly have the best spot on the pond. Regardless of what we did during the day, we were always so happy to come home to your place. We would sit on the patio, enjoying the changing colors on the water. Or paddle around in our kayaks. The cottage is the perfect level of comfort for a summer holiday. Not too fussy, but still including all the things that we “can’t do without” (like air conditioning!).

Exactly What We Needed

This charming property is very centrally located yet it feels like you are miles away from any hustle bustle. There are other homes on this beautiful lake, yet the ones close to this home do not have docks or clearings to the water. Thus, it was all ours. We fished from sun up to beyond sundown, swam, floated, boated and even rented paddle boards around the corner. It was paradise to spend a few days with our adult children just relaxing. The home is very comfortable and has everything needed for a home away from home. We did not want to leave, but did venture into the lovely town and made good use of the paved biking trails nearby. We went to the fishing pier and purchased the freshest fish to grill for dinner. By the way, there are many fish in the pond, but we left those there for the next visitor.

Secluded Hideaway

Recently had the pleasure to spend a blissful week at this lovely waterfront home. Found the house to be all that was promised. The floor plan allows for everyone to gather comfortably and/or have their own space when needed. The beds and other furnishings were very comfortable and done with flair. Loved all the little touches such as the unique kitchen/bathroom tiles, the wide board floors, and skylights. Didn't really need to use it much but knowing the central air conditioning was available was nice. During our stay we experienced a record breaking heat wave. To begin the day with an early morning swim, followed by coffee and relaxing on a chaise lounge we watched the day unfold as the fish jumped in the pond, all the various birds sang and the cool breezes off the water waved the flag; no where to go and just so content to relax and enjoy. Did manage to pull ourselves from the property on occasion and found the location to be very convenient to everything: downtown Chatham for shopping and musical concerts, baseball game, grocery store just two minutes away. Thoroughly enjoyed our time at Lighthouse Beach as well. Great sand, swimming, seal viewing, and plenty of boat action to view a safe distance from shore. Found the property owner, Lucas, to be very helpful with my odd question or two. The property was in very good condition, clean and plenty of fans to use as needed/wanted. I love good air flow. Had my elderly mother along for the trip and she found the home to be very accessible especially with the first floor bedroom and bath. We all thoroughly enjoyed the outdoor shower as well. Great house, great stay; wish I didn't have to leave.
