This ground-floor unit is located in a 15-unit building less than 80 feet from the ocean. Sit on the spacious lanai and watch dolphins and whales followed by breathtaking sunsets and an occasional 'Green Flash' through the palms.

This condominium permits you to enjoy your vacation with all the amenities of home. Large master bedroom/bath with ocean views off lanai. Fully-equipped kitchen.

Walking distance to beaches and shopping. Less than three miles to two bays for fishing, water sports, and sightseeing. However, you may choose to stay on your lanai and just enjoy the aloha.

The Big Island offers an active volcano, rain forests, beautiful Hilo and it's many waterfalls, horseback riding of all kinds, sailing, surfing, scuba, snorkeling, dolphin and whale watching, and even mountain excursions to Muana Kea National Observatory.

Please note: The complex elevator is currently scheduled to be repaired May 4th, 2026 - June 5th, 2026 so it will not be available during this time and the entry to this unit is located directly across from the elevator.

The host was very prompt and professional when dealing with a minor problem in the condo.This condo was extremely well equipped with everything that you could want and need. It was just like home.The view from the beautiful lanai was spectacular and we certainly enjoyed spending lots of time and meals on it. Lots of towels and super comfortable beds. The TV had very little collection and the parking space was tricking with a larger vehicle. I didn't have time to write in the guest book. Please pass our thanks on the the home owner. We had a fabulous stay and would highly recommend it to anyone. Wish we could have stayed longer.Don & Lynn YuleKelowna, B.C. Canada

It was a great stay--Hawaii never disappoints. It is a big island, so a lot of driving. The lanai was 10/10 at our rental.

This home was spectacular! The home was well stocked from kitchen towels! Coolers and sunscreen are available too! Beautiful outdoor eating space and wonderful watching the sunsets each night. Highly recommend for families!

Place was amazingly clean and had everything we needed. Beautiful breakfasts on the lanai with gorgeous views, dishwasher for all the dishes that are available for use, and a washer/dryer for your clothes. My family was very happy and we are hoping to stay again as soon as we can.

The most amazing lanai you will ever have! What a view!!! We enjoyed our stay at this home. The kitchen was well stocked. Living room was comfortable. Unfortunately there is a smell similar to cat urine that was horrible upon check in. It did get better after the AC was turned on and unit cooled down for a couple of days. Parking spot is VERY tight so consider that when renting a vehicle. Condo area is super quiet and we only saw 1 other couple use the pool one time during our entire visit. Pool is small, but great. Don't bother making dinner reservations because you will want to spend all your sunsets on this lanai! This is a great condo to spend your vacation in.

One of the best condos on Alii

We've stayed at many condos on Alli Drive and this is by far one of the best. Nice size, clean, well equipped, great lanai. Only thing I would suggest is investing in some new beach chairs.

We spent a week in the condo and enjoyed it very much. Everything worked well. The only minor issue was that the unit was under stocked with paper goods and we needed to resupply.

Stunning Unit

We walked in and the first thing you see is the ocean. The Lanai is beautifully and comfortably appointed. The kitchen is expansive and very well equipped. The living room has a very comfy couch and recliner. The beds are very comfortable and the whole unit is very beautifully furnished. I want to stay at the rental again in the future.

Everything you could want in a vacation stay

This home was perfect for our week in Kona. It was central to all of the downtown shops and restaurants but far enough to not have too much traffic. Close to all of the beaches and farmers market. Waking up to the sounds of waves right next to you was something I'll truly miss. The kitchen was stocked with all of the tools you need to cook up a hearty breakfast or a nice dinner to have outside on the patio, watching the gorgeous sunset. Great water pressure in the showers and it never felt humid inside which, if you've travelled to enough tropical places, you'd know is an issue. Looking forward to staying here again next time we're on the Big Island.

Beautiful Condo, Good Location

The condo is as advertised and my family was very pleased with our stay. Right on the ocean with beautiful views and a wonderful lanai to enjoy them. Everything we needed for our 2 week stay was provided, including spices, condiments, a wide variety of plates, silverware, serving utensils, etc. That being said, more paper products would have been appreciated, although it's understood those provided were to get you started. Regarding parking, be advised the spots are not generous so take that into consideration when renting a vehicle. We rented a full size SUV - good thing my daughter has parking skills! Overall a very pleasant relaxing stay in this wonderful condo close to downtown but away from most of the traffic and noise.

Great view but bad smell

This condo is old and in an old building. The lanai is great and view is great. Very musty smell in the place. Almost like bad cat litter.. it did dissipate somewhat but was present during the 3 days we were there. The management company offered air purifiers but we only had a 3 day stay. For the money I would look elsewhere.

Well appointed, terrific sunsets

This unit in the Kona Nalu complex is a very comfortable, well-appointed condo that makes an excellent base for a vacation on the Big Island. The furnishings are very good, beds are great, bathrooms on point, and the kitchen is well stocked for dining in. Updated Samsung televisions have the ability to broadcast all your favorite streaming services after the sun goes down. Until then, you'll be spending a lot of time on the lanai, as the ocean views and daily sunsets are the star of this condo and location. You'll find that you manage your day to be "home" by 6:00PM to watch the sun drop. And if you didn't get food for dinner, be sure to check out the taco truck on the church property just to the south -- great food, short walk.Others have mentioned the tight assigned parking spot, but it's manageable -- just go slow. And the shared grill on the site is charcoal, not propane. Factor that into your plans if you intend to grill at the condo.

Loved the location and the lanai! We had breakfast every morning watching the waves it was wonderful. Everything was clean and in good working order. There was tons of books and games and beach stuff.

Love this place

This condo is a little outside of Kona, yet convenient by car or bike. I love hearing the waves all night and the view in the morning with coffee. The only thing was the mattress in the master bedroom is very soft. Some people may like it. I hope to stay again.
