Fantastic Getaway

My husband and I stayed here in condo 31 for 2 weeks and it was great. The bed was so comfortable and the condo was perfect. The pool area is very clean and well kept as well as the grounds.

A very tired property

Vacasa was missing in action from the beginning. No one was available either in person or by telephone when we arrived. Nothing worked and the key box was broken. The stove was unusable, the television only worked once. The coffee machine and hairdryer had to be replaced as they didn't work. The screen door was broken. What else would you like to know !! Pamela was useless and failed to make requested reservations.

Placencia nightmare

I’m a very easy-going person and I’m understanding of one-offs and little issues, it can actually make travel fun and memorable. This trip caused nothing but stress. The local staff actually got us a coffee maker on day 2 (ours was missing on arrival, though our friends’ unit had theirs so it wasn’t a big deal). But after that, it quickly devolved into a daily nightmare. The plumbing in the building had issues. The wastewater from the upstairs unit leaked into our unit every time they showered or used their sinks. We had water in our unit on the floor for five days. Upon the first time we noticed it, I had reached out repeatedly with a cry for help. On the last night, Vacasa finally offered us another unit, but our trip was already ed FB

Family vacation

First off the procedure of booking was effortless and smooth. The people at the resort were available at every moment I had questions or queries. They informed us of everything before we even left to go there and was still Available to help after I chose self checkin. The rooms were very spacious and had all amenities needed, was very clean and the beds and furniture were excellent. Not to mention it’s right on the sea side with a wonderful beach and pier and the pool was perfect for my kids 6 and ten. My stay was perfect and would recommend to anyone.

Placencia paradise

We had a wonderful time staying at condo 31 at beachside villas. This is our 2 year in a row to stay here. A couple minor hiccups when we first got there but Kapree was very responsive to our needs and getting things we needed. Jesus was very nice and helpful and kept the grounds and maintenance of the property in great shape and helped with getting us stuff to make our stay memorable. The most memorable thing on this trip was the lack of vacationers as a whole. We had the whole complex to ourselves for 18 days. This was not unusual for these covid times. No one was at Robert's Grove or many of the other places. The people of Placencia are so friendly and warm during these extremely difficult times. We hope to return next year and would love to stay at condo 31.

Véro is the best concierge!!!

She was there for us all the way from beginning to the end!!! when we needed things last minute, like car rental...she made it so easy for us, organised everything and made us at ease as we where some what worried at times as it was our first time in Belize...so Belize it or not... lol you cannot go wrong with the choice of staying there. thank you so so much for an awsome experience Vero is the best 5 star service!!!

We loved that this condo was right on the beach and had a pool which we spent a lot of time in. We were there during the off season was was great since it was so quiet but yet we felt like if we needed anything, we had someone we could go to.

My family rented two units. It was obvious that one of the units (#31) was well maintained and the other (#26) was not well maintained and sorely in need of repairs.

It was a beautiful location right on the beach front. The view was amazing.!

I had no real knowledge when I booked this condo on the location of where is was situated on the Peninsula. It turned out to be perfect. It’s only 4 miles from the village of Placencia. The Laru Beya resort is very close and was able to rent a golf cart there to drive around and the restaurant there is amazing! The condo was very comfortable. I just wish the a/c worked better. I want to go back and rent it again!

Beautiful property, remote and quiet, condo directly on the beach

The grounds are beautiful, the condo is nice, great location, view right on the beach. The kitchen is minimally stocked, but very functional. The Vacasa management team is great, very responsive, very accessible. We had several dinners at Robert's Cove, food is fantastic. The service is amazing everywhere we went, at Robert's Cove, the Quaterdeck next door, and every place in Placencia Village. Everyone is very friendly, professional, and eager to help. Taxi from the condo to the Village is $10 U.S., and we tipped $3-$4 U.S. I had 3 taxi drivers' phone numbers in my Whatsapp, they have no problem coming to get you. There is a small grocery store in Siene Bight, approximately 1/2 mile from the resort. We walked there with backpacks to restock. For a small store, it has a lot of variety. The only downside: Seagrass. The area has a serious seagrass invasion, there was no walking down the beach. They have men out raking it and hauling it out by wheelbarrows. The only place we found that you could walk into the water from the beach was in town, at the beach by the municipal pier. We spoke to a few locals, the seagrass normally is not there until March, however, it came in February this year. We will return to Belize, however, we will check into the sea grass situation first. Great condo, great location.

Nice condo, directly on the beach

Very nice little condo, plenty of room for 2. Kitchen is small, however, very workable, we were able to make breakfast and even lobster that we bought from a local fisherman for dinner. The balcony is amazing, very large, and absolutely right on the beach. The staff at Robert's Grove were very accommodating and friendly. VACASA management is fantastic, from the concierge who arranged trips and transporation, to the local manager who stopped by to make sure we didn't need anything. Both were very responsive to messaging on Whatsapp. We saw fish and manatee from the pier. Would highly recommend, with only 1 warning: Check the seagrass status - We were there in early February, and there was so much seagrass, you could not walk along the beach, or walk into the water from the beach.

The location was very nice, quiet and right on the beach. It was easy access both town and the airport. Check in/out with the lock box was very easy. The staff reached out to us several times to check on our stay and offer any help or info we needed. We would stay here again.

I would go here again -- think Beach Grass

The Vacasa managers were very responsive. The property was in the Robert's Grove enclave of condos. So it provided some very useful ammedites like several restaurants and pools. It is very important to understand the off seasons in Belize as a lot of things close down for renovation, including some facilities at the hotels. This was the case at Robert's Grove private condo 31, but still they kept the grounds properly serviced. They did close down 2 very good restaurants we wanted to go to on the grounds. The central A/C in the codo has the thermostat mounted in the wrong place as far as I can tell, so adjusting the bedroom temperature is quite difficult without coaching. They should move it and provide instructions to keep the bedroom fan on which would help circulate the cold air. Belize is having a major Beach Grass problem which moves around the the area depending on the wind. Do your homework related to this act of nature for which no one control over. Noty even Vacasa. I would go here again if I needed to stay in the area.
