Extremely Disappointing StayWe’ve stayed in this area before and never had as many issues as we did with this property. Several bedroom and bathroom locks were broken and had to be replaced during our stay. The shower on the fourth level didn’t regulate water properly, producing dangerously hot water that made it unusable.There was also a leak from the third level to the second, and although the repair company eventually came out, they left drywall and debris all over the stairs and floors, which we had to clean ourselves. One of the bedrooms had dirty bedding with sand still on it, and some of the kitchen items were rusty and unusable, which made the space feel poorly maintained. The kitchen cabinets were also sticky, adding to the overall lack of cleanliness.To make matters worse, the owner’s communication was unprofessional and even threatening when I tried to address these issues. There was absolutely no sense of customer service or accountability.This experience was extremely disappointing and not at all reflective of the standards we’ve come to expect in this area.

What a great house for our first Family trip to 30A

If you want a wonderful family vacation this is a great house. You have the beautiful private beach which is spectacular. You have an incredible kitchen with ice machines, double ovens, a huge refrigerator and double dishwashers. Oh and a very long island for all the kids to eat pancakes at. There are so many bedrooms and baths, everyone can have a bit of private space, but then there are also the living spaces to come together. Our family mostly though, enjoyed the pool and outdoor space all day every day. The week went by too fast, but we had a great time here at Reunion House and can’t thank enough the owners who have done such a great job organizing their vacation rental and Cheryl their wonderfully responsive local agent.

Reunion House is an all weather, all season location-should the weather turn against you, there is still plenty to do. But when the weather is good, it’s a short walk to the beach.And the top floor bedroom is away from the fray-perfect for the grandparents

Just incredible!

Leading up to our week stay there was clear communication from the owners who provided necessary information regarding the property and neighborhood. The house and pool were very clean and the location was phenomenal. In a gated community that was very quiet in the evening. The private beach with the attendants who were very nice and helpful each day. The game room obviously wound up being one of the most enjoyed spots of the house! We look forward to coming back and we highly recommend staying here for your family’s next vacation to Seacrest in 30A.

Wonderful house. Can’t say enough about this house. It fit all our needs and was great for adults as well as kids. Game room was awesome. Beach chairs a wonderful perk. So much room for a big gathering. Thank you for sharing your house with us.

From snow to sun!

We had an amazing time at the reunion house. We had a group of friends and a family with three generations staying the week. We had children of all ages, from and infant to 18years old and there was something for everyone. Coming from New York, leaving the snow in the rearview mirror we were excited to spend some much needed time on the beach and in the sun. The house had everything we needed, the neighborhood was great for taking walks, bike rides, and shopping. I would highly recommend this house if you have young children. Thank you to Rhonda and her family, many great memories were made this week.

Perfect Large Family House

We’ve been coming down to this area for the last 10 years. With each year, our family grows by a few. It’s been hard to find a house that works for us. But Reunion House was absolutely perfect! We loved it all, but here are the highlights: Lots of bedrooms with king and queen beds for adults and a few bunk rooms for the kids. Great selection of kitchen supplies. Awesome refrigerator and freezer. Large pantry. Fun arcade for the “kids” Pool was the safest setup we’ve had. Didn’t worry about the little kids at all. Lots of balcony space for the guys to get away from the noise. Quiet street Thank you so much! We had a great week!

Perfect location. Loved close access to beach and the umbrella and chairs already set up for us everyday! Arcade was amazing- great games! Pool was warm. Everything was perfect! Would stay here again.

Great large house for family gatherings.

We had a great time as a family with a toddler-64 year old! The arcade was a big hit as was the heated pool. The bedrooms are set up well for a few families with multiple children. We have already booked it again!

Family Fall Vacation

Our family of 10 adults and 11 children stayed at the Sandy Shores Reunion House property for a fall vacation and enjoyed our time, but the condition of the property fell short of even normal standards, particularly given the cost of our stay. The cleanliness upon our arrival was far from what we expected. The cleaning crew neglected to wipe down handrails on the stairs and didn't bother cleaning under any of the furniture (there was a significant amount of dirt and dust, paper debris, water bottles, etc. under beds, cabinets and tables. In addition, all of the ceiling fans had a season's worth (or more) of dirt and grime. When we called the property manager to discuss this we were told she could bring the cleaning team back but we would have to vacate the property for 4 hours if she did. We had 3 infants and a developmentally delayed child in our group, so we did not find this as an acceptable solution. After again calling the property manager about a clogged shower drain (which she came to fix using Draino) we talked to her about our overall disappointment with the housekeeping and she stated "we don't have time for a deep clean every week, so if you want clean you should come at the start of the season not the end." Obviously, this is not the type of response we expected to receive. There were a number of items, small and large, needing repair (including one of the major appliances) and several light bulbs that were burned out or flickering which we would have expected to have been changed during the cleaning/house prep process. This property is a lovely home with a number of very nice features. The owners need to hire a property manager who cares more about her role.

Our family had a wonderful time at the Reunion House! The game room was a hit for the teenagers (and adults) and the heated pool was perfect for the chilly nights. One street, quiet subdivision was private and the beach was just a short walk down the street. Rhonda was always responsive and even had beach chairs & umbrellas delivered to the house when the beach didn’t have them. We travel to the beach every Thanksgiving and will definitely be back to the Reunion House. 10/10 would recommend!

House Delivers

The description was accurate as far as the esthetics. Two problems there is the wifi connection and dated televisions. They need to unvesr in an upgrade for both Everyone was friendly and helpful. I would return to Reunion House if I did a huge family vacation again

Family Getaway Trip

We all fell in love with this beautiful property. It had everything and more than was expected. It was really nice to go to the beach and have 8 chairs waiting on us. Many of us had difficulty leaving the arcade (a definite plus). Certainly the best place we have stayed in the Florida area.

Everything we could possibly want!

Great location. Loved the heated pool just for our family. Easy walk to beach and beach chairs set up daily. No permits for beach fire yet so we could not do that. Some suggestions: recommendations for restaurants and shopping for all the areas as Seaside is amazing but we found it late in the week.

Fabulous Property! Close to Beach! Loved All of the Extras!

This property is amazing. The outdoor space was perfect for our group. The arcade was a hit with even the adults. So close to the beach so it was an easy walk and the beach chairs were a bonus. Close to shops and restaurants. Loved having the bikes to explore. Our group of 14 enjoyed our stay and will be back again!
