The reunion house was a great place to stay for our group. Everything was as expected as advertized and the beach was spectacular.. It was a quick walk to the beach. the pool and fire pits were great place to congregate in the afternoon and evening.. the beach chair set up was phenomenal. If we make it down here again, we will definitely stay at the reunion house.

Amazing vacation house!

Reunion House is an all weather, all season location-should the weather turn against you, there is still plenty to do. But when the weather is good, it’s a short walk to the beach.And the top floor bedroom is away from the fray-perfect for the grandparents

Great large house for family gatherings.

We had a great time as a family with a toddler-64 year old! The arcade was a big hit as was the heated pool. The bedrooms are set up well for a few families with multiple children. We have already booked it again!

Fabulous Property! Close to Beach! Loved All of the Extras!

This property is amazing. The outdoor space was perfect for our group. The arcade was a hit with even the adults. So close to the beach so it was an easy walk and the beach chairs were a bonus. Close to shops and restaurants. Loved having the bikes to explore. Our group of 14 enjoyed our stay and will be back again!

Beach Week Getaway Spot!

We really loved the pool and the game room for the kids. There was plenty of space for everyone, and we had 8 adults and 12 kids. The couple of extra bikes were a plus and the gas for the gas grills made it easy to cook out without having to go through a bunch of setup. We really enjoyed this house by the sea!

Yes! A beautiful location indeed! Our private key-code gated subdivision, on site security guard and beach attendant supervisor patrol our subdivision and private beach, as well as our key-code beach entry. No one without a beach wristband is to enter our private beach. I hope any concerns were communicated for them to address. Blessings to you all! Rhonda

What a great house for our first Family trip to 30A

If you want a wonderful family vacation this is a great house. You have the beautiful private beach which is spectacular. You have an incredible kitchen with ice machines, double ovens, a huge refrigerator and double dishwashers. Oh and a very long island for all the kids to eat pancakes at. There are so many bedrooms and baths, everyone can have a bit of private space, but then there are also the living spaces to come together. Our family mostly though, enjoyed the pool and outdoor space all day every day. The week went by too fast, but we had a great time here at Reunion House and can’t thank enough the owners who have done such a great job organizing their vacation rental and Cheryl their wonderfully responsive local agent.

Just incredible!

Leading up to our week stay there was clear communication from the owners who provided necessary information regarding the property and neighborhood. The house and pool were very clean and the location was phenomenal. In a gated community that was very quiet in the evening. The private beach with the attendants who were very nice and helpful each day. The game room obviously wound up being one of the most enjoyed spots of the house! We look forward to coming back and we highly recommend staying here for your family’s next vacation to Seacrest in 30A.

From snow to sun!

We had an amazing time at the reunion house. We had a group of friends and a family with three generations staying the week. We had children of all ages, from and infant to 18years old and there was something for everyone. Coming from New York, leaving the snow in the rearview mirror we were excited to spend some much needed time on the beach and in the sun. The house had everything we needed, the neighborhood was great for taking walks, bike rides, and shopping. I would highly recommend this house if you have young children. Thank you to Rhonda and her family, many great memories were made this week.

Perfect Large Family House

We’ve been coming down to this area for the last 10 years. With each year, our family grows by a few. It’s been hard to find a house that works for us. But Reunion House was absolutely perfect! We loved it all, but here are the highlights: Lots of bedrooms with king and queen beds for adults and a few bunk rooms for the kids. Great selection of kitchen supplies. Awesome refrigerator and freezer. Large pantry. Fun arcade for the “kids” Pool was the safest setup we’ve had. Didn’t worry about the little kids at all. Lots of balcony space for the guys to get away from the noise. Quiet street Thank you so much! We had a great week!

Extremely Disappointing StayWe’ve stayed in this area before and never had as many issues as we did with this property. Several bedroom and bathroom locks were broken and had to be replaced during our stay. The shower on the fourth level didn’t regulate water properly, producing dangerously hot water that made it unusable.There was also a leak from the third level to the second, and although the repair company eventually came out, they left drywall and debris all over the stairs and floors, which we had to clean ourselves. One of the bedrooms had dirty bedding with sand still on it, and some of the kitchen items were rusty and unusable, which made the space feel poorly maintained. The kitchen cabinets were also sticky, adding to the overall lack of cleanliness.To make matters worse, the owner’s communication was unprofessional and even threatening when I tried to address these issues. There was absolutely no sense of customer service or accountability.This experience was extremely disappointing and not at all reflective of the standards we’ve come to expect in this area.

I am sorry you were disappointed in the house. The real measure of rental management is how quickly and completely issues are fixed, not the absence of issues. - Shower head not functioning properly i sent someone over to look at it and was told by a member of you party, it is fine, not to worry. A handyman inspected and he said it was fine. A plumber was scheduled for turnover day to inspect just in case. - One-bedroom sheets dirty I contacted the maids about this, sorry but they were rushed because you wanted an early check in, tough job and things do get missed - ceiling leak The AC line was clogged and fixed in less than 2 hours by our AC repair company. No communication their repairs were messy. I would have brought them back to clean up if i had known. - Pans rusty Replaced in July, not sure how they could be rusty in less than 3 months, but replaced for you anyway They were the worst renters we have had in 25 years. I hope possible future renters will look at the other many 5-star reviews for the property.

Family Fall Vacation

Our family of 10 adults and 11 children stayed at the Sandy Shores Reunion House property for a fall vacation and enjoyed our time, but the condition of the property fell short of even normal standards, particularly given the cost of our stay. The cleanliness upon our arrival was far from what we expected. The cleaning crew neglected to wipe down handrails on the stairs and didn't bother cleaning under any of the furniture (there was a significant amount of dirt and dust, paper debris, water bottles, etc. under beds, cabinets and tables. In addition, all of the ceiling fans had a season's worth (or more) of dirt and grime. When we called the property manager to discuss this we were told she could bring the cleaning team back but we would have to vacate the property for 4 hours if she did. We had 3 infants and a developmentally delayed child in our group, so we did not find this as an acceptable solution. After again calling the property manager about a clogged shower drain (which she came to fix using Draino) we talked to her about our overall disappointment with the housekeeping and she stated "we don't have time for a deep clean every week, so if you want clean you should come at the start of the season not the end." Obviously, this is not the type of response we expected to receive. There were a number of items, small and large, needing repair (including one of the major appliances) and several light bulbs that were burned out or flickering which we would have expected to have been changed during the cleaning/house prep process. This property is a lovely home with a number of very nice features. The owners need to hire a property manager who cares more about her role.

Jim, glad you all enjoyed yourselves! Reunion House is a special and fun house! :) And is well-loved all year long. I saw your review and am very saddened and sorry you felt the home needed cleaning attention. We send our Saturday arrival email so any concerns can be addressed promptly. We love when our guests are happy and enjoying themselves! Several attempts were made to contact you to make things right, but the opportunity was denied. To address the 4 hours to redo floors, our staff did not mention this to your group, as it would not take this long. Sorry for the misunderstanding! We do ask for guests to vacate the home while floors are being recleaned so as to not have people in and out on wet floors. It is not safe. The floors would have taken just a short while to complete, not 4 hours. Our manager and staff care deeply in the happiness of our guests and want to provide the best help where needed. It is such an asset to have them so close to our homes. Again, I wish our staff had had the opportunity to help with your concerns and make things right. Blessings! Rhonda

There was nothing we didn’t love about this place. Our family had the best vacation ever staying here! Our family of 17 age 70 down to age 4 had such a great time together. It was so nice to have such a big house that included space and things to do. The kids loved the games when they weren’t at the beach or in the pool. The hot tub and fire pit were great. Bikes were nice to have for a ride into Rosemary or Alys. Huge refrigerator/freezer. Two more refrigerators which came in handy, one in the game room and one in the laundry room (with 2 washers/2 dryers). Big pantry. Two dishwashers. Two ovens. Two ice makers. The built in coffee pots were so nice too! The kids loved eating up at the bar and also there is a big table that seats 10. Short walk to the private beach with beach service. And last but not least, the beds were very comfortable. We would definitely return. It was a family vacation to remember.

Will be back!!

Our family had a wonderful time at the Reunion House! The game room was a hit for the teenagers (and adults) and the heated pool was perfect for the chilly nights. One street, quiet subdivision was private and the beach was just a short walk down the street. Rhonda was always responsive and even had beach chairs & umbrellas delivered to the house when the beach didn’t have them. We travel to the beach every Thanksgiving and will definitely be back to the Reunion House. 10/10 would recommend!
